Forsyth County’s premier mixed-use village invites the community to play, shop, dine and experience what’s new

Head to Halcyon in July for an exciting line-up of events. Kick off the month enjoying live music every weekend by local bands at Groovin’ on the Green; get your sweat on with fan-favorite Farm Animal Yoga; turn back time at ‘80s Night; let your little ones dance with Elsa at Tutu School and enjoy the summer vibes at the Family Dance Party.

The full July events schedule is outlined below:

Groovin’ on the Green

Fridays and Saturdays in July from 6 – 9 p.m.

Celebrate the weekend by dancing and singing along to live musical performances on the Village Green. Enjoy local bands across a variety of genres playing top hits. On the last Saturday of each month, Cherry Street Brewpub will host live music on its patio adjacent to the Village Green. Guests can treat themselves to a craft brew and groove to live music playing all around the village! Halcyon has an open container policy, however outside food or beverages are prohibited. Halcyon Kids Club

Wednesdays through October from 10 a.m. – noon

Preschoolers are invited to play and make new friends at Halcyon’s free Kids Club! Enjoy rotating activities each week ranging from arts and crafts, dance, animal encounters, story time, puppet shows, music and so much more. Themes and activities vary each week and will be announced on Halcyon’s Facebook page and Instagram stories. A parent or guardian is required to stay with each child during the event. Big Peach Run, White and Blue 5K

Thursday, July 4 at 7:45 a.m.

Start your Independence Day off with Big Peach’s 5k, 10k, or 1k Fun Run at Halcyon!  This is a family-friendly event and all events are walker-friendly. Virtual options are also available. To register, visit the Big Peach event page.

Halcyon’s Family Dance Party

Friday, July 12 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Halcyon’s Family Dance Party is back for the summer! Enjoy a DJ dance party in the Green with games, giveaways, pop-ups and more. No tickets or registration needed. For more information, visit the Halcyon Facebook event page.

Farm Animal Yoga

Saturday, June 13 at 9 and 10 a.m.

Mooove on over to Halcyon for Farm Animal Yoga, featuring live animals from North Georgia Wildlife Park! Treat your mind and body to a relaxing session of yoga appropriate for all skill levels, accompanied by adorable furry friends. Participants must bring their own yoga mat and are welcome to pause and take photos with the animals during the session. Tutu School 2nd Anniversary Party

Saturday, July 20th from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Join Tutu School for a Magical 2nd Anniversary Party! Beat the summer heat at Tutu School for a Special Dance Class with Elsa in honor of Tutu School Halcyon’s 2nd Year of Twirling. The event includes sweet treats, Elsa Friendship Bracelet making (kit included) and lots of twirling with the queen. You do not need to be an active Tutu School member to celebrate. Tickets open to non-members on 7/5. The cost is $25 per dancer and an additional $15 for adding a sibling. Space is limited. For more information, visit the Tutu School event page.

Totally ‘80s Night

Friday, July 26 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Totally ’80s Night is back at Halcyon! Halcyon is turning back the clock for this tubular event in the Village Green. Come chill with us! The event will feature a DJ playing the best of the ’80s, themed ’80s cocktails at participating restaurants, ’80s trivia with prizes from Halcyon merchants, a costume contest, a photo booth and ’80s themed giveaways. Enjoy a month full of events at the West Midtown mixed-use destination

July is already here and so is the heat, but The Interlock has a calendar full of events to keep you cool. From Grand Prix watch parties and Piña Colada specials at Holiday Bar, yoga on the green with Guac Y Margys, an Olympic-sized series of events and a Fourth of July inspired taco from Velvet Taco, there’s something for everyone this month at The Interlock.

Saturday, July 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Join the Ladies Athletic Club and The Interlock for a free rejuvenating bi-monthly yoga session starting on Sunday, June 9. Yoga Ritas on the Highline

Monday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m.

On the second Monday of each month through October, join Guac Y Margys and Dancing Dogs Yoga for yoga on The Highline. After a 60-minute collaborative class, enjoy a refreshing margarita included with admission. Tickets are $10. Learn more and purchase your ticket HERE.

Line Dancing Event

Wednesday, July 10 from 7 to 10 p.m.

Put on your boots and learn how to line dance at The Interlock! Join us for the opportunity to learn step-by-step before becoming a pro and taking over the dance floor. Located on the Plaza level between Holiday Bar and Velvet Taco. American Red Cross Blood Drive

Olympics at The Interlock

July 26 to August 11

Celebrate the 2024 Summer Olympics at The Interlock with themed decor, specials, games and more. Travel to each tenant representing a different country with Interlock’s special passport. Starting at St. Germain, participants can pick up their passport, which features all of the exciting specials around the mixed-use development. As the season heats up so does Atlanta’s premiere entertainment destination

The fun continues at The Battery Atlanta with an array of entertainment options and refreshing deals that offer locals a chance to savor the season. Those looking to rest and retreat from the warmer weather can visit the newly opened Silverspot Cinema to see the hottest new releases (and a few classics!) in its premium luxury seating in addition to enjoying half off bar bites and drink specials every Tuesday and Thursday. Guests can also expect weekly favorites, including Wednesday Night Trivia at Good Game or refreshing drinks at BURN during Ketel One Thursday specials. Wellness Series: Yoga by Kaiser Permanente
Mondays (excluding home gamedays) from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Start the week off stress-free with a limited capacity, outdoor yoga class presented by Kaiser Permanente on non-event days at the Plaza Green. Pre-registration and event participant waivers are available online. Participants are required to bring a mat and are encouraged to bring water. A live stream on Facebook and past sessions on YouTube are also available to fitness fans virtually on event days.

Cornhole ATL Summer League
Tuesdays from 6:30-9 p.m.
A tailgate favorite is now a league of its own! Spectators are encouraged to watch the action and cheer on league participants as they play games leading up to the summer season’s final tournament. League winners will receive a championship trophy and other prizes.

The Battery Atlanta Walking Trail presented by UnitedHealthcare
A brisk walk can curb cravings, reduce stress and offer a healthy way to catch up with friends and family! Get out and get active on the 1.5-mile loop circling the campus.

Tennis on the Turf with USTA
July 20 & 27 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Families are invited to spend a morning on the court. Parents and children can choose from 30-minute tennis lessons and free matches on the Plaza Green. Participants will be able to sign up for the free lessons online through the U.S. Tennis Association. Registration will be encouraged but not required to attend. Walk-ups are welcome as space permits!

Bach to Rock Music and Movement Summer Series
July 24 from 4-6 p.m. and July 29 from 10-11 a.m.
Children up to 8-years-old and their parents are invited to experience free, dynamic music and movement activities that are educational and fun-filled hosted by Bach to Rock Sandy Plains! To learn more about Bach to Rock Sandy Plains, visit their website.

American Red Cross Blood Drives:
The American Red Cross continues their blood drive at The Battery Atlanta! All presenting donors will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a chance to win special Atlanta Braves and American Red Cross giveaways, while supplies last.
