SOMETHING’S BREWING AT THE WORKS THIS OCTOBER

Posted by Liz and John Attaway, 10/16/23

Popular Halloween festival returns to the Upper Westside’s top entertainment destination

The Works is bringing back Something’s Brewing, a spooky, fun-filled Halloween event on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. While the fun is best suited for ghouls and goblins ages 3 to 13, guests of all ages are welcome. There will be candy stations, crafts, entertainment and more.

Something’s Brewing began at The Works in 2020 and continued in 2021. Due to popular demand, the signature Halloween event is returning to the mixed-use destination in Atlanta’s Upper Westside this year, and will offer new experiences for guests.

After stopping by the Makers Building to check in, guests can head off to explore the outdoor craft and candy stations, photo ops, stilt walkers, face painting, balloon animals, creepy critters and trunk-or-treating. There will also be a special movie feature and interactive characters on Camp Street.

Early bird pricing is $13 per ticket for those partaking in the activities, but adults and children under the age of two do not need a ticket. Ticket prices will increase on the day of the event at the gate. This event is rain or shine.

Several tenants at The Works are also having spooktacular events on Oct. 28:

  • American Axes is hosting a Pumpkin Painting Party and kid’s costume contest at 10 a.m. Pumpkins, paint and candy will be provided.
  • Fetch Park is hosting its very first Cujo’s Carnival at 6 p.m., featuring a live band playing Halloween classics, drink specials, costume contests for both people and their pups, a professional photographer and additional surprises.
  • Chattahoochee Food Work’s “Saturday Night Vibes” makes a return from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. with DJ Steve’s best beats.
  • Also at Chattahoochee Food Works, put on your best costume and sign up for the annual Halloween Party, starting at 7 p.m.! The costume contest will start at 10 p.m.
