FOX THEATRE ANNOUNCES GRAND REOPENING SCHEDULE

Fox Theatre Reopens in July with The Wizard of Oz, King Crimson, and The Princess Bride followed by 70 confirmed shows in 2021.

The Fox Theatre is proud to announce its official public reopening this summer with three socially distanced, reduced capacity events in July, starting with Fox fan-favorite The Wizard of Oz on Sunday, July 25, prog-rock band King Crimson on Tuesday, July 27, and cult classic The Princess Bride on July 31.  To purchase general tickets or new all-inclusive Club Level seats in the Loge of the Theatre with access to the Marquee Club presented by Lexus*, visit foxtheatre.org or call 855-285-8499. For all three events in July, masks will be recommended but not required for all guests and mandatory for all staff. Mask requirements for other events will vary and can be found by visiting the Fox Theatre’s COVID-19 updates page here:  https://www.foxtheatre.org/events/covid-19-updates.

As in previous Coca-Cola Summer Film Festivals, the Fox Theatre will showcase The Wizard of Oz and The Princess Bride on its impressive 26-by-56-foot screen. Patrons will enjoy movies under the Fox Theatre’s distinctive blue sky with twinkling stars and fluffy clouds. Guests arriving early to the films will have the opportunity to attend a magical pre-show experience, including a sing-along accompanied by the world-renowned “Mighty Mo” organ performing live for the first time since its 2019 restoration. Get ready to “SAY CHEESE!” as a photographer on stage will be taking a commemorative photo of the audiences for both films that will be available for download. Photo-ops with onsite look-alike characters Dorothy, Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion will take place before The Wizard of Oz, so get in early to see who you can find! Movie prices are $15 for general tickets and $35 for Club Level.

After July, the Fox will be at 100% capacity, starting with the return of Hamilton for 39 shows August 22 – September 26. To usher in the return of Broadway properly, the Fox Theatre will be lighting up its historic Arcade entrance with a special BROADWAY IS BACK-themed digital experience for the opening week only. HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS

The Fox Theatre continues to monitor the required and recommended reopening guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and the Georgia Department of Public Health. Mask requirements for events at the Fox will be determined on a show-by-show basis as these guidelines continue to evolve. Returning Fox Theatre guests can expect a more contactless experience like new contactless security technology with no required bag-check, self-scanning ticket pedestals with mobile entry, contactless payment options at all points of sale and more. Attraction to Reopen with New and Enhanced Safety Guidelines in Place

Ready to switch up your quarantine routine, Atlanta? After three months of being closed due to COVID-19, NETHERWORLD’s escape room games, dubbed Escape the NETHERWORLD, will reopen to the public beginning Friday, June 19. Guests can once again get all the thrills and chills they’ve come to expect from the creators behind one of the country’s most beloved haunted houses at NETHERWORLD’s four escape rooms.

“We are so excited to be reopening our doors to the public,” said NETHERWORLD Haunted House Co-Creator Billy Messina. “While this time has given us plenty of opportunity to prep for this season’s new haunts, we have missed hosting our community at our year-round attractions. As always, the safety of our guests, staff and community is of the utmost importance to us, so we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of everyone’s health while still having fun.”

While the COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented, NETHERWORLD remains committed to putting the health and well-being of team members and guests first. Read on for details regarding procedures put in place by NETHERWORLD to ensure safety and comfort, and click here for a downloadable infographic.

Private Bookings:
All games will be private and cost $28 per person with a minimum purchase of four players (fewer may participate). All games must be booked online at least two hours prior to the scheduled start time. Guests can call ahead at 678-580-5642 if they would like to schedule a room inside that booking window. While walk-ins are discouraged, walk-in customers will be accommodated if a private room and game master are available but cannot be guaranteed.

Amended Check-In Procedures:
Upon arrival, guests will call from the car prior to entering the building where they may be asked to wait in the vehicle while NETHERWORLD prepares for their check-in. Social distancing will be highly encouraged, so please follow guidance on NETHERWORLD’s downloadable infographic. All guests will be asked to wash their hands thoroughly prior to the start of the game. To facilitate the check-in process, NETHERWORLD asks that most belongings be left in vehicles. Small personal items like purses and cell phones can be brought into the game. Cell phones and cameras may not be used during the game.

Face Coverings and Other PPE:
NETHERWORLD requests the use of face masks and/or face shields by guests while in public areas of Escape the NETHERWORLD. This includes but is not limited to the lobby, public bathrooms, outdoor picnic tables and benches. Hand sanitizer is available at several locations throughout the property, and disposable gloves are available by request.

Cleaning and Disinfecting Procedures:
NETHERWORLD has added extra measures to their already thorough cleaning regimen which includes disinfecting props, doorknobs, and touch surfaces with high grade disinfectants. Each room is cleaned before and after each game. As appropriate, additional cleaning procedures may include but are not limited to fogging the rooms with a non-toxic hospital grade disinfectant. The lobby, bathrooms and other public areas will also be disinfected regularly.

Staff Health and Safety:
For the health and safety of staff and guests, employees will be wearing face coverings while interacting directly with each other and their groups. They may choose to wear additional PPE at their discretion including gloves and face shields. Staff members will have health screenings regularly which may include but are not limited to temperature checks and interviews about health and possible exposure and will wash their hands regularly throughout their shift.

Right to Refuse Service:
NETHERWORLD reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. If guests are feeling ill, are exhibiting symptoms, or have had a possible exposure to the coronavirus, please call to reschedule your game.

OLIVA RESTAURANTS RETURNS TO SERVICE MONDAY, MAY 18
All Four Sister Concepts Will Offer Curbside Pickup &
Take-Out Featuring Special To-Go Menus

Oliva Restaurants is thrilled to announce the reopening of all four of its Atlanta concepts next Monday, May 18. After closing Aziza, Bellina Alimentari, Falafel Nation, and Rina on March 16, each restaurant will begin offering limited menus featuring many local favorites along with a few surprises for curbside pickup and take-out.

“We made the extremely hard decision to remain closed for the last two months to help support the global efforts combatting the pandemic. It is an incredible feeling to reopen our doors to the Atlanta community and have our Oliva family in the restaurants again,” said Tal Baum, proprietor of Oliva Restaurants. “We carefully planned our reopening to ensure a safe environment for team members and customers alike. Our industry is all about creating memorable moments and connecting people. We see the current circumstances as an opportunity to reinvent what we do and engage with our guests on a different level, even from a distance.”

Aziza returns to showcasing the best of Israel by offering both modern and comforting Middle Eastern dishes, as well as a number of multi-course options. The menu will change daily and highlight produce from local farm friends. The popular Full Experience menu will be offered as a multi-course dinner and will include salatim, a family-style entrée, two sides, and dessert. Weekly Shabbat Dinner will be available for preorder for Friday pick up. There are a few other exciting surprises that are in the works and will be announced on social media. Aziza’s full wine list and special to-go cocktails, a delectable pastry basket with Aziza’s famous breads and pastries, as well as several a la carte options, are all at diners fingertips.

Bellina Alimentari brings Italian comfort to quarantine with family-sized dishes including lasagna, pomodoro, ragù, meatballs, and a salad; the Bellina Family Meal with polpette and pane, a family-sized pasta, salad, chocolate truffles, and a bottle of wine; the Salumeria Antipasti Box with half of a schiacciata, three types of charcuterie, three types of cheese, marinated olives, marinated artichokes, a family-sized salad, and a bottle of wine; fresh pasta kits; as well as Aperol Spritz and Negroni cocktail kits. They will also be serving a menu of Salumeria and Alimentari goods such as fresh pasta, pasta sauces, olive oils, and schiacciata (by the pound) from the Bellina in-house Italian market, antipasti, pasta dishes, panini, sides, dessert, and a selection of natural wines from the Wine Bar.

Falafel Nation is set to serve the Falafel Nation meal for two featuring a selection of two pita or chopped salad, two orders of fries, two cookies, and two sodas; and the Falafel Nation Deluxe meal with a selection of eight falafel or Sabich pita, a side of hummus, a side of tahini, a sauce trio, Israeli salad, Israeli slaw, fries, two pitas, two cookies, and two sodas. A la carte options are also available and patio seating will be open.

Rina is cooking up a family meal featuring a main course, a choice of three mezze, a side of rice pilaf, two pita, hummus, tahini, a sauce trio, and dessert; and regular menu items including mezze options, a selection of hummus, Amba Chicken, Beef Kababs, Falafel Salad, Halloumi with charred vegetables, Chicken Shawarma, Arayas, and more will be available. Perfect for Spring, Rina’s Backyard Grilling kit with skewers, salads, and sides are sure to be a hit. Add on to-go cocktails and boozy milkshakes and guests will feel like they are carried to a faraway land. The patio and to-go window on the Atlanta Beltline will be open for orders.
