BUCKHEAD VILLAGE FALL BLOCK PARTY AND SIDEWALK SHOP AND STROLL 2020

 Buckhead Village is hosting a Fall Block Party + Sidewalk Shop & Stroll on

Saturday, October 3 from 11am-6pm and Sunday, October 4 from noon-6pm.

The community destination will welcome guests to enjoy open-air shopping from participating retailers like Alice + Olivia, Bella Cucina, Billy Reid, B.M. Franklin & Co, Theory, Buckhead Art & Co and Pinker Times, and complimentary fall treats – apple cider, Georgetown Cupcakes and flowers from Pinker Times – will be offered throughout the property. Visitors can also enjoy complimentary kombucha and cold brew coffee from Kea Beverages and live music at The Veranda, a newly debuted 1960-square-foot covered space bringing the outdoors in with lush greenery, soaring ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling screens.
 
Also on Saturday and Sunday, HERMARKET®️, a community and marketplace for woman-owned indie brands and the women who love them, will be popping up on Buckhead Avenue and feature products for purchase from makers including Suakoko Betty, Candy x Paints, Roots ATL, Tranquilo Teas and more. Founded by Jazlin Pitts and Kia Perry, HERMARKET also organizes virtual experiences and brand partnerships to provide a platform where women can discover and support these brands while connecting with each other.

 

To help guests and employees remain in compliance with new health and safety guidelines, Buckhead Village requires face coverings to be worn by property employees and visitors, provides hand sanitizer throughout the common areas, implements no-touch solutions at high-touch access points, enhances sanitation efforts in common areas and assists retailers and restaurateurs with touchless payment systems and mobile ordering.

The Home Depot Backyard Hosts Artisan Vendors, Live Music, and Top
Culinary Talent in November 7 Installment of Monthly Market

Picture yourself strolling under twinkling lights, sipping on a custom cocktail from top Atlanta mixologist, Tiffanie Barriere and you notice the smell of dishes from some of the city’s most celebrated chefs wafting through the air. At Night Market at The Home Depot Backyard, guests can experience just that – a vibrant, open-air neighborhood gathering. The market is designed with inspiration from the famous street fairs and bazaars of Europe and Asia and once guests step inside, they will feel instantly transported into a kaleidoscope of delicious flavors, colors and sounds.

Having launched in October in the heart of downtown Atlanta, just outside of bustling Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Night Market offers expansive greenspace, enticing guests to come shop, drink, eat, and stay a while. Here visitors have the chance to engage and converse with incredible culinary talent including chefs from The Federal, The Spotted Trotter, Sweet Auburn BBQ, Shake Shack, American Cut, Honeysuckle Gelato, Wheelies Tiny Donuts and Hattie B’s to name a few. Guests will also be able to shop an impressive selection of goods at the artisan market, curated by Atlanta favorite, Indie Craft Experience, to a soundtrack of live music provided by the Sundogs.

“At Night Market, we want our guests to feel as if they’re attending a backyard party with close family and friends,” says Latonda Henderson, Director of Community Activation for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. “Our goal was to create this personal experience where you can walk up to renowned chefs and beverage experts and swap recipes, pick their brains and just chat as if you were at a friend’s house. The culinary talent we have selected for each Night Market are all part of the movement to elevate Atlanta’s reputation as a top foodie destination, and to be able to have this interactive experience with them is really special.”

PONCE CITY FARMERS MARKET OPENING DAY 2019

Opening Day: Tuesday, April 9th

Ponce City Farmers Market runs Tuesday, April 9th through October 29th

Ponce City Farmers Market (PCFM), the weekly producer-only market held at Ponce City Market, is excited to share opening day activations, season offerings, community partners and more to kick off the 2019 season! Featuring fresh produce and goods from farmers and food makers, the market offers an outdoor shopping experience and hangout with good vibes.

Located at the Shed by the entrance to the Atlanta BeltLine, PCFM will be open each Tuesday from April 9 through October 29. Hosted from 4-8pm, it will feature live music and educational chef demonstrations, alongside offerings from local farmers and food artisans.

On opening day (Tuesday, April 9), there will be a pasta ribbon cutting at 4:30pm; pasta-making demos from Bellina Alimentari and So Good Pasta; a Kind Bar pop-up; a TurnTable Yoga class with a live DJ, hosted by fitness app Activvley and CorePower Yoga; SNAP/EBT sign-up with Wholesome Wave Georgia; and reusable snack bag sewing from 5:30-7:30pm with sewing studio and shop Topstitch.

Subsequent markets throughout the season will feature tarot readings from Modern Mystic, weekly “Locally Sewn” craft classes from Topstitch, TurnTable Yoga on the first Tuesday of the month and pop-ups from restaurants at Ponce City Market. The Ponce de Leon Public Library serves as a weekly community partner, hosting fun kids activities, library card sign-ups and books available for check-out.

Each vendor accepts cash and credit, and SNAP/EBT dollars are accepted at qualifying vendors. The Ponce City Farmers Market will also double the dollar amount of any SNAP swiped. Guests may access the market via the Atlanta BeltLine or Ponce City Market, and complimentary parking for guests of PCFM is available through ParkMobile, as users can enter code “FARMERS2019” for one free hour of parking in Zone 22200.
