STONE MOUNTAIN PARK HOSTS 23RD ANNUAL NATIVE AMERICAN FESTIVAL & POW WOW

The Native American Festival & Pow Wow begins Oct. 31 and runs through Nov. 3. With multiple tribes represented, the festival is considered the largest gathering of its kind in Georgia and a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society.

Held at Stone Mountain Park’s Historic Square, visitors will experience the southeast’s premier Native American cultural festival through dance, music, interactive educational displays, authentic craft demonstrations, cooking traditions, storytelling, wildlife presentations, and more.

The event showcases cultural and educational activities for families to experience. Discover the central role of dance in native culture as Native Americans from across the U.S. and Central America compete in intertribal dance and drum competitions. Learn about primitive skills such as flint-knapping, bow-making, fire-starting, open-fire cooking, and pottery. Guests can explore an encampment showing the lifestyle of local and regional historic Native American cultures where they can crawl inside tipis and other traditional native dwellings.

The four-day festival also includes an artists’ marketplace where shoppers will find one-of-a-kind items. World-renowned Native and Native-inspired artists and crafters demonstrate their skills and offer hand-crafted items for sale.

STONE MOUNTAIN PARK HOSTS 56TH ANNUAL YELLOW DAISY FESTIVAL

South’s largest outdoor arts and crafts show Sept. 5 – 8

Featuring over 400 artists from across the United States, Stone Mountain Park’s 56th annual Yellow Daisy Festival will take place Sept. 5 – 8.  Voted one of the top arts and crafts shows in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine, a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event, and winner of multiple awards by the Southeast Festival and Events Association, the event is a tradition for multi-generational shoppers searching for unique handcrafted works of art.

Returning for the third year is the Yellow Daisy Vintage Village! Located within the lower meadow of the Yellow Daisy Festival, this highly curated village of vendors will showcase antiques, vintage collectibles, and amazing farmhouse chic home goods, furniture, and décor.

Festival crafters and artists are selected from a pool of applicants by the Yellow Daisy Festival jury to display their distinctive handmade work in categories including pottery, fabric, painting, jewelry, sculpture, fiber, photography, fine arts, and traditional arts and crafts.

During all four days of the festival, guests can watch live entertainment on the main stage including Rock, Pop, Country, Gospel, DJs, and more. A beer garden will offer a place to rest, relax, and refresh before venturing out to discover more hand-crafted wares. Food trucks and festival food will also be on hand to satisfy any cravings.

Returning to the Yellow Daisy Festival this year is the highly anticipated featured artist. Meet Jodi Hatfield, the featured artist for 2024. “Growing up on a ranch in Arizona, I always enjoyed the outdoors and animals around me. They always brought me happiness. Water coloring was the perfect medium for me to create. I wanted these paintings whimsical and fun, yet believable too. I hope these images can remind you of a happy memory, or maybe the trait of a friend, or reflection of a loved one. If they’ve made you smile, I’m grateful.”

Located in the park’s Special Events Meadow, admission to the festival is FREE with paid parking

LATINO FAMILY FESTIVAL AND LIGHT SHOW RETURNS TO STONE MOUNTAIN PARK THIS MAY

Featuring Live International Talent and Drone and Light Show

The second annual Latino Family Festival celebrating Latino culture and heritage, is set to take place the first three weekends in May at Stone Mountain Park, Georgia’s No. 1 most visited attraction. The festival is a vibrant and lively celebration of Latino music, dance, and culture, featuring a wide variety of live international talent including dancers, musicians, a marching band, all-new festive parade, and a massive drone and light show.

The festival will feature live music including headliners:

Los Cadetes de Linares – May 5

La Sonora Dinamita – May 12

Triny, La Leyend – May 19

Guests will have the opportunity to see traditional dances and entertainment from different regions of Latin America including Aztec dancers, Colombian ballet, Mexican ballet, Flamenco dancers, Mariachi band, Pleneros, Mexican band, Charro, stilt walkers, and a Panamanian marching band. The festival will also include interactive storytelling sessions where guests can learn the significance of Latino traditions and folklore.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the drone and light show. End each evening with a festive drone show featuring over 250 color-changing drones creating spectacular aerial formations in the sky while synced to music. Then watch the specially programmed massive Latino Festival Light Show projecting on the largest screen in the world, Stone Mountain, along with immersive lighting, overhead lasers, and special effects, followed by a fireworks finale.

Featuring spectacular Drone and Light Show


Stone Mountain Park’s second annual Lunar New Year Festival will celebrate the Year of the Dragon. This Asian-inspired festival pays tribute to the culture and New Year traditions of Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and other countries that follow the lunar calendar. It features a special Lunar New Year Drone and Light Show, a NEW lighted parade, cultural craft activities, live entertainment, and other cultural elements. The festival will occur February 10 – 11, 17 – 19, and 24 – 25.


Held in the Crossroads area and on the Memorial Lawn, visitors will experience traditional dance, cultural music, educational craft activations, dragon and lion dance teams, signature foods, beautiful décor, and much more.

The event showcases cultural and educational activities for families to experience together. Learn calligraphy, yo-yo demonstrations, knot tying, and more from certified instructors from the Chinese Cultural School of Atlanta. Pose for pictures with ambassadors dressed in cultural dress and stationary backdrops throughout the event. Visit the Lighted Reflection Walk-Way to offer well wishes and prayers for a prosperous new year.

Stone Mountain Park’s Pumpkin Festival – Play by Day, Glow by Night, is the most illuminated fall of all! Guests are welcome to celebrate the splendor of autumn during the park’s Pumpkin Festival, a family tradition featuring a multitude of glowing experiences.
