Join Atlanta Wine Festivals for their annual Atlanta Summer Wine Fest with 50+ wines, small beer selection, live music, and DJ Q-Tip. Ticket inculdes entry, entertainment, souvenir acrylic wine glass and all wine and beer samples. Tickets run $50 Advance, $55 after August 1, $65* day of event (*Unless sold out.)

Newest Pop-Up at The Blind Pig Parlour Bar Boasts Nostalgic Delights with Small Plates, Crafty Cocktails, and More

Atlantans are cordially invited to experience a summer-long “Beach Ball” at The Blind Flamingo, the latest pop-up experience from The Blind Pig Parlour Bar, beginning Friday, June 28. Inspired by the Apple TV series “Palm Royale,” The Blind Flamingo is a vibrant, retro paradise featuring nostalgic summer vibes. Guests will indulge in various small plates, desserts, and dazzling cocktails.

The Blind Flamingo boasts an enticing menu perfect for nibbling and sharing. Savory small plates include

  • slow-roasted pork belly with sweet-and-spicy glaze and pickled red onions
  • lobster ceviche with citrus-cured lobster, tomatoes, red onions, and cilantro
  • heirloom tomato caprese with Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails Garden tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, and balsamic drizzle
  • strawberry shortcake and key lime dip served with graham crackers, animal crackers, and pineapple

The Blind Flamingo’s drink menu is as stunning as it is delicious. Guests will enjoy refreshing concoctions such as:

  • the show’s signature grasshopper (hold the insulin)
  • pink señoritas
  • Palm Beach punch
  • coconut rum mojito

The Blind Flamingo will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

KICK OFF SUMMER WITH HALCYON’S JUNE EVENTS LINE-UP

Forsyth County’s premier mixed-use village invites the community to play, shop, dine and experience what’s new

Head to Halcyon in June for an exciting line-up of events. Kick off the month enjoying live music every weekend by local bands at Groovin’ on the Green; get your sweat on with fan-favorite Farm Animal Yoga; celebrate Father’s Day at the many restaurants and retailers; make fun crafts with your little ones and enjoy the summer sun at Cherry Street’s Tiki Street Pop Up Bar.

The full June events schedule is outlined below:

Groovin’ on the Green

Fridays and Saturdays in June from 6 – 9 p.m.

Celebrate the weekend by dancing and singing along to live musical performances on the  Village Green. Enjoy local bands across a variety of genres playing top hits. On the last Saturday of each month, Cherry Street Brewpub will host live music on its patio adjacent to the Village Green. Guests can treat themselves to a craft brew and groove to live music playing all around the village! Halcyon has an open container policy, however outside food or beverages are prohibited. Halcyon Kids Club

Wednesdays through October from 10 a.m. – noon

Preschoolers are invited to play and make new friends at Halcyon’s free Kids Club! Enjoy rotating activities each week ranging from arts and crafts, dance, animal encounters, story time, puppet shows, music and so much more. Themes and activities vary each week and will be announced on Halcyon’s Facebook page and Instagram stories. A parent or guardian is required to stay with each child during the event. MAKE[R] KIDS C[R]AFTÉ

Head to MAKE[R] at Halcyon this month for a fun lineup of crafts for kids:

6/4 Mommy and Me Paint Portraits – Join MAKE[R] for an adorable “paint a portrait” session with your little ones! Just like the viral reel going around with husbands and wives painting each other’s portrait, you can now see how your little sees YOU! All supplies are provided for mommy and one child. 6/11 Make SLIME!! – Join MAKE[R] for a fun morning making SLIME!! Your kiddos can come and learn how to make slime with household ingredients and have some fun interactive play – bonus is, no mess at your house! 6/18 Tie Dye T-Shirt Making – Want to make something that you can wear? Well now you can at MAKE[R]’s tie dye t-shirt making workshop! RSVP and let us know your t-shirt size and we will handle the rest! Learn how to do different designs and make your own tie-dye shirt! All supplies and instructions provided. Farm Animal Yoga

Saturday, June 8 at 9 and 10 a.m.

Mooove on over to Halcyon for Farm Animal Yoga, featuring live animals from North Georgia Wildlife Park! Treat your mind and body to a relaxing session of yoga appropriate for all skill levels, accompanied by adorable furry friends. Participants must bring their own yoga mat and are welcome to pause and take photos with the animals during the session. Tropical Nights Ladies Night Out

Tuesday, June 11 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Head to Halcyon for an incredible night of fun at Tropical Nights Ladies Night Out! Event tickets will include your first tropical cocktail (or mocktail), a DJ and dancing in the Green with Silverstar Productions, Salsa dancing lessons with a live band from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Eclipse di Luna, shopping and tropical cocktail specials, activities, games and giveaways as well as a 360 Photo Booth Fun. Every ticket holder will also be rewarded with a special code redeemable for a FREE facial courtesy of Clean Your Dirty Face Halcyon ($50 value) and fresh flower crowns will be available for purchase. This event is 21+ and tropical attire is suggested. Tickets are $18, and all ticket proceeds will be donated to Northside Hospital’s Cancer Institute. Swifties Family Dance Party

Friday, June 14 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Calling all Swifties! Halcyon’s first Family Dance Party of the summer will be led by a Taylor Swift look-alike! Enjoy a DJ dance party in the Green with games, giveaways, pop-ups and more! Tutu School Halcyon will be providing free friendship bracelets. Save the date and invite your fellow Swifties! No tickets or registration needed. Ties & Tutus Father’s Day Dance Party

Saturday, June 16 from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Join Tutu School for a Ties & Tutus Partner Dance Class in honor of Father’s Day, with sweet treats, crafts and lots of twirling. Space is limited so reserve your spot today! Cherry Street’s Tiki Street Pop Up Bar

Thursday, June 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Bourbon Babes Luau Night: Enjoy an immersive experience by sampling different styles of bourbon in Cherry Street’s tiki-themed oasis, all guided by Old Dominick distillery. Cherry Street has partnered with Lauren Preskitt of Southern Belle Bourbon and Women’s Whiskey Collective, bringing you a night to take your tastebuds on a journey through a variety of bourbons in a tropical setting. Whether you’re a bourbon enthusiast or simply curious, Cherry Street’s warm and welcoming atmosphere provides the ideal setting to forge meaningful connections. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt to the event to get entered into the giveaway!

We will have over 50 wines as well as a selection of local beer to choose from. There will be live music upstairs, DJ Q-Tip downstairs, and food will be available for purchase from City Winery. The wine list will be added to the website in the weeks prior to the event. Tickets are now on sale for $45 and will increase to $50 after August 1st and $60 at the door.
