THE FRENCH MARKET RETURNS TO BUCKHEAD VILLAGE THIS MONTH

Saturday, September 28 from noon to 7pm

Francophiles rejoice – the French Market is returning to Buckhead Village! On Saturday, September 28 from noon to 7pm, Alliance Française of Atlanta and Buckhead Village invites guests to immerse themselves in a French-inspired open-air market experience amongst the cobblestone streets, lush greenery and European-inspired decor. 

A wide array of Atlanta’s top French, Francophone and French-inspired vendors will be present, including Diptyque, Saint Germain Bakery & Cafe and more, offering everything from delicious crêpes and macarons to fresh flowers and fashion. 

Activities include:

  • Sketches by Jarrett Becke on Buckhead Avenue (all-day)
  • Kids Craft Station: French Friendship Bracelets (1-5pm) 
  • Théatre du Rêve Mini Performances: Vive La Fontaine! (1-5pm)
  • Wine Tasting in The Veranda & Live Music with the Bon Aventure Quartet (2-5pm)
  • Test Your French at the Alliance Française Tent (2-5pm) 
  • French Music & Dance Hour (5:30pm-7pm)

Participating vendors & offerings include: 

  • Carmel – Guests can indulge in the flavors of the sea with Carmel’s French Market special: enjoy four fresh oysters perfectly complemented by a glass of 1818 Billecart for $34. 
  • Boba Craze – Boba Craze will offer themed drinks at the market from their charming trailer. Guests can enjoy a variety of premium teas and fruit blends, ideal for both newcomers and devoted fans.
  • Brush Sushi – Visitors can pick up refreshing to-go drinks from Brush Sushi, adding a perfect touch to their experience while exploring the diverse offerings of the market.
  • Carousel Fine ArtCarousel Fine Art invites Atlantans to an exclusive evening celebrating the best that France has to offer: fine art, culinary splendor and viticulture on Fri., Sept. 27 from 7–9:30pm. In collaboration with Chefs Caroline Gutierrez and Matthew Ryder, attendees will embark on a culinary journey through French cuisine. This immersive experience features a curated three-course menu of delectable small bites, seamlessly paired with top-shelf wine selections from Perrine’s Wine Shop. Tickets are available here for $175 per person, which includes the full culinary experience, event access, and an exclusive wine tasting.
  • Fetch Park – The trailblazing dog-friendly social hub will offer French-themed pup caricatures by artist Lash LeRoux from 2pm-5pm, live music by Morgan Beck from 4pm-6pm, and French-inspired cocktail specials all day.
  • Georgetown Cupcake – The beloved bakery is bringing extra sweetness to Buckhead Village’s French Market with complimentary vanilla & vanilla buttercream cupcakes, available while supplies last.
  • Le Colonial – The famed Vietnamese restaurant will be serving up to-go drinks. Attendees can enjoy refreshing beverages, perfect for sipping while exploring the festival.

The French Market is free and open to the public. A wristband will be required to purchase food & beverages from participating vendors – wristbands are now available online for $10. Children 12 & under are not required to purchase a wristband. All event proceeds directly support the Alliance Française of Atlanta, a nonprofit whose mission is to promote the French language and francophone cultures through educational and cross-cultural programs.

Francophiles rejoice – the French Market is back and heading to Buckhead Village! On Saturday, September 9 from noon to 7pm, Buckhead Avenue will transform into a Parisian-inspired, open-air market bringing together regionally and locally-owned French and French-inspired businesses including Ade by Femi, Lisa’s Creperie, Maison B. Encore, Ché René Macaron, diptyque and Saint Germain Bakery & Cafe, all offering visitors the chance to stroll and shop curated selections of designer goods, art, home furnishings and French fare. This year’s festivities will also include live music, crafts and entertainment for all ages, including performances from The Bonaventure Quartet jazz band, Théâtre du Rêve and the Atlanta Petanque Club. 

The French Market is free and open to the public. A wristband will be required to purchase food & beverages from participating vendors – wristbands are now available online for $5 and will be available for $10 beginning September 5. Children 12 & under are not required to purchase a wristband.
