THE WORKS KICKS OFF ITS RETRO SUMMER SREIES WITH “ALL AMERICAN THROWBACK” ON JULY 4TH

The Upper Westside destination will celebrate the Fourth of July with free hot dogs, music, art and more

To celebrate the Fourth of July this year, The Works is rewinding through the decades with its All American Throwback event. Held on Saturday, July 4, from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Camp, the event will feature live music, free hot dogs for the first 100 guests from Patty and Franks, and red, white, and blue giveaways – fitting for a classic American summer. Guests are also encouraged to snap a photo at the custom Bomb Pop mural on The Spur by local muralist Jessi Queen. Those who post a photo with the mural and tag @theworksatl will be entered to win a prize pack. Winners will be announced on August 3, 2026.

All American Throwback is the first event of The Works’ Retro Summer Series, which also includes Turntable Thursdays, a series where DJ Steve will spin classic tunes and host retro games every Thursday in July and August from 6 to 8 p.m. in The Camp, as well as themed nostalgia-driven activations running throughout August. 

In addition to hot dogs, music, art activations and more, The Works is hosting All the Soccer Things for this summer’s global soccer event. With community watch parties, live music, global cuisine and official merchandise, The Works is the summer destination for soccer and celebration of all kinds.

Enjoy a month full of celebrating soccer, Father’s Day, Juneteenth and more

June is in bloom with an exciting month full of events at The Works. Join the Upper Westside mixed-use destination as it kicks off All The Soccer Things with Jersey Fridays, public watch parties and more. Plus, experience Father’s Day at Your 3rd Spot, Juneteenth at Chattahoochee Food Works, and live music all summer long.

Jersey Fridays at The Works

Every Friday in June and July

Rep your team all summer long! As part of The Works’ All The Soccer Things series, guests are encouraged to wear their soccer jerseys every Friday in June and July to score special discounts at participating tenants, including American Axes, Chattahoochee Food Works, Chicheria Mexican Kitchen, Dr. Scofflaw’s, Fox Bros. Summer Satur-daze Live Music Series

Every Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m.

All summer long, The Works will feature live music celebrating the rich culture of the World Cup, including musicians from High Latin, TC Costello, Garden Variety Band, Black Lion, and Orquestra MaCuba. Check out the full event series here. 

Movie & Match Night at Camp Street Green

Friday, June 12, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Works is getting in the soccer spirit with two special screenings. Stop by the Camp Street Green at 4 p.m. for a screening of the family-friendly comedy “Kicking & Screaming,” followed by a watch party of the country’s first match, USA vs. Paraguay at 9 p.m. Learn more here.

All the Soccer Things Kickoff at Camp Street Green

Saturday, June 13, from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Works is kicking off All The Soccer Things with a high-energy drum performance by Brazuka Percussion from 1 to 2 p.m. Packed with intense spirit and phenomenal sound, this local drumline plays in the fan zone at every Atlanta United game. After the performance, grab a seat and be part of the kickoff as The Works hosts its first public soccer watch party of the summer, featuring: 3 p.m. – Qatar vs. Switzerland and Brazil vs. Morocco, and 9 p.m. – Haiti vs. Scotland. Salsa Dancing Class and Taco Dinner at Chicheria Mexican Kitchen

Thursday, June 18, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Join Chicheria Mexican Kitchen for an evening of tacos, margaritas and an all-level dancing experience under the summer sky. The night begins with patio dinner featuring a selection of mix-and-match tacos, chips and salsa and one classic margarita. Juneteenth Weekend Celebration at Chattahoochee Food Works

Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 21 

Celebrate Juneteenth with Chattahoochee Food Works as they spotlight Black-owned businesses. On Saturday, the food hall will host the Juneteenth Indie Market from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and a live DJ from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Learn more via The Works’ website here.

Father’s Day at Your 3rd Spot

Sunday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Unlimited Gourmet Taco Tasting Experience at Chicheria

Every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Chichería Mexican Kitchen now offers an Unlimited Gourmet Taco Tasting Experience each week. Available every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the experience features a rotating selection of chef-crafted tacos served continuously at the table. Guests can enjoy a variety of flavors, including Baja Fish, Coconut Shrimp, Carne Asada and more, all prepared on handmade blue corn tortillas pressed fresh daily. Experience eight weeks of “All The Soccer Things,” including live music, watch parties and giveaways 

The Upper Westside’s premier mixed-use destination, The Works is launching All The Soccer Things this summer, an eight-week immersive series with art, live musical performances, public watch parties, soccer giveaways and strategic collaborations with two key Atlanta soccer organizations. From die-hard supporters to casual fans, All The Soccer Things will transform The Works into the Upper Westside’s soccer headquarters, where the community will gather to celebrate the passion, pride and global spirit that soccer brings to Atlanta.

Throughout this series, people can come together at The Works to take part in the excitement, whether they’re lifelong fans or just discovering the game. 

All The Soccer Things festivities include:

  • Movie and Match Night (June 12): The Works is getting in the soccer spirit with two special screenings. Those who wear their soccer jersey every Friday in June and July can score special discounts at participating tenants at The Works, including Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Your 3rd Spot, Chattahoochee Food Works, Dr. Scofflaw’s, American Axes, Love Train Antiques, and Chicheria Mexican Kitchen.
  • Summer Satur-daze Summer Music Series (Every Saturday in June and July): All summer long, The Works will feature live music celebrating the rich culture of the World Cup, including musicians from High Latin, TC Costello, Garden Variety Band, Black Lion, Orquestra MaCuba and Projeto Brasileiro.
  • Global Gear Merch Pop-Up: Don’t miss this pop-up shop featuring licensed FIFA merchandise, soccer apparel and accessories. The Global Gear Merch Pop-Up will open in May for fans looking to gear up.
  • Spirit on The Spur Art Wall: Snap a photo at The Works’ custom soccer-themed mural on The Spur, created by local chalk artist Jessi Queen and inspired by the spirit and energy of Atlanta.

Grand Prize Giveaway: Culminating the summer celebration, one lucky person will win the All The Soccer Things grand prize giveaway on July 19, valued at over $5,000. This massive prize includes officially licensed FIFA World Cup merchandise and four tickets to the Atlanta United vs. Inter Miami game on Oct. 17 in a 100 Level premium suite with complimentary food and drinks. Participants can enter to win by signing up for The Works newsletter via theworksatl.com.

Throughout All The Soccer Things, The Works will partner with local organizations to bring this programming to life, including Soccer in the Streets, a local nonprofit focused on making soccer accessible to Atlanta’s youth through soccer training, character development and employability programs, and All Stripes, an Atlanta United fanbase dedicated to local soccer fans in the LGBTQ+ community.
