In a year when sports fans can’t gather in their usual ways, Atlanta’s leading sports talk radio station, 680 The Fan and Wild Heaven Beer one of Georgia’s oldest and most respected craft breweries, have teamed up with those fans in mind. Releasing at Wild Heaven’s two taproom locations and in stores next week, Fanfare is a pair of mixed-six packs of beer and hard seltzer created to help fans celebrate wherever they can safely gather.
Each Fanfare six-pack contains two each of a Classic American IPA, a Golden Ale, and a Mango Hard Seltzer. Retailing for just $10.99, each of the three can designs call to mind the region’s great sports teams.
680 The Fan invites listeners and fans to use the QR code on each can to vote for their favorite of the three. A special release party with a live broadcast from Wild Heaven’s West End Brewery & Gardens will take place on Saturday, October 24, from 11am-2pm featuring 680 The Fan’s Former UGA quarterback Hutson Mason and Georgia Tech and College Football Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Hamilton. Fanfare will be available at both Wild Heaven taproom locations beginning Friday, October 23.
Mixed six-packs will be available at retailers around the Atlanta metro area starting Wednesday, October 28th. A second Fanfare mixed six-pack will release in November featuring a Modern IPA, an Amber Ale, and a Black Cherry Hard Seltzer.
After fan voting concludes, one of the six Fanfare recipes will be chosen for broader distribution in 2021, so 680 The Fan’s on-air hosts and Wild Heaven Beer are calling on Atlanta fans to make their voices heard!
