Monday Night Garage Situational Ethics Release and VIP Event 2019

About: Situational Ethics Day Returns. It’s a celebration of everything great about these imperial stouts. Oh, in case you were wondering, this year’s variants are Apple Brandy Barrel-Aged Meadowfoam Honey Imperial Stout, Maple Cognac Barrel-Aged Praline Imperial Stout, Mezcal Barrel-Aged Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial Stout.  We’ll be pouring these all day long at the Garage, and you can take some bottles home. The event is free, but we are also hosting a VIP event. The VIP event includes unlimited pours, a limited edition glass, adjunct-free cask tastings and a conversation with our Brewmaster on the evolution of our stout program. Plus, special local food pairings from BoxCar ATL, Heaps, and Honeysuckle Gelato. VIP tickets are $60.

The Wolf Pack is back!

The original version of this Imperial Sweet Stout was aged in Vanilla Bourbon Barrels on liquid cacao, toasted coconut and Tongan vanilla beans. We then moved it to a 7 year old Knob Creek 121 proof barrel and let it sit for a year.

Wolf Pack V2 is coming in two variations:
🍫Mexi-Cocoa – Peruvian chocolate, Vietnamese cinnamon bark & Madagascar vanilla caviar

🌰Rocky Road – Peruvian chocolate, toasted marshmallow & almonds and Madagascar vanilla caviar.

We will have Wolf Pack available for $15 per bottle during the release! After the release the prices will go up to $20.

-KBA – 7.5% Starting its life as a Strong Amber Ale, Kennesaw Bourbon Ale is transformed through the addition of American Oak from our spirit program. The addition of the oak cubes delivers delicious vanilla and oak notes, while still maintaining the smooth Amber base.
-Barrel Aged Quad – A huge 12% Belgian Quadruple brewed with dark candi sugar and aged in Woodford Double Barrels for 6 months.
-Bad Hombre 10%- Mexican Style Imperial Stout brewed with dried Ancho & Habanero Chilies, Vanilla Beans, Cacao Nibs and Cinnamon sticks. Notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, and spice on the nose lead into rich flavors of chocolate and dried figs, with subtle hints of cinnamon.
-Rye Barrel Aged Bad Hombre –  11% – An even badder version of Bad Hombre aged in Woodford Rye Whiskey barrels for 14 months.
-Cask: Rum raisin porter cask: 8% Porter cask conditioned on Rum soaked raisins!

About: This holiday season, Sweet Auburn BBQ, the Poncey-Highland BBQ spot offering traditional style barbecue with an Asian twist, is transforming their space into a holiday luau! To kick off the season of celebration, Sweet Auburn BBQ will host Kamayan ATL, the Atlanta-based Filipino pop-up restaurant, on Monday, December 2 for a collaborative luau-inspired menu of dishes like Fried Lumpia, Aloha BBQ Skewers, Hsu’s Kalbi Saimin, & Smoked Huli Huli Chicken. Urban Tree Harvest Festival 2019

About: UrbanTree Cidery, Atlanta’s first craft cidery, announces its first-ever Pawnee Style Harvest Party, a “Parks and Rec” inspired party celebrating all things fall on Saturday, November 23 from 12:30 to 6:30pm. Taking place at their Westside tasting room (1465 Howell Mill Rd. NW), the all-day, family-friendly event will feature activities like a costume contest, visits with a live miniature horse and the release of a new seasonal cider, Bourbon Barrel Buzz (7.5% ABV). Throughout the day, guests are invited to partake in a Ron Swanson look-alike contest, enter in “Treat Yo’ Self” raffles and from 1:30 to 3pm, grab photos with a live Li’l Sebastian impersonator, a miniature horse. In addition to themed activities, UrbanTree will serve a harvest cocktail called Snake Juice, a bright and crisp sangria with mild cinnamon spice and subtle sweetness. Their full menu of flagship and seasonal ciders and local beer will also be available. About: The Indie Craft Experience, the Atlanta-based organization and producer of craft and vintage markets, announces that the 2019 Holiday Shopping Spectacular will be held on Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24 from 11-6pm each day. The annual event will celebrate its fifteenth year with a lineup of more than 200 crafters, artists, makers and vintage sellers from around the country, and, for the first time ever, the event will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) located in Downtown Atlanta. The Holiday Shopping Spectacular is the Indie Craft Experience’s largest event and features a two-day curated market experience that connects crafters, artists, makers and vintage sellers with the Atlanta community. Now in its fifteenth year, the market is bigger than ever with offerings beyond shopping. In addition to browsing vendor booths for gifts, attendees can have their aura photographed, visit a pop-up location of the Atlanta-Fulton County Library, listen to tunes by DJ Zano, explore a special new area devoted to locally-produced food products curated and sponsored by Georgia Grown, take part in hands-on art activations and join in on spontaneous caroling led by local chorus singers. About: The 3rd Annual Butcher & Brew Fest will be held in Alpharetta on Saturday, November 9 from 2-6pm. Celebrating the best of craft beer, the third annual event will feature food from Butcher & Brew, live music by Fire & The Knife, games and more. About: Formerly known as the Potter Pub Crawl, the WIZARD PUB CRAWL returns for a 5th year on Nov. 8th, 2019! Dia De Los Muertos Festival and Parade 2019

About: On Saturday, November 2, 2019, Atlantans and visitors alike are invited to explore vibrant cultural traditions at the inaugural Dia de Los Muertos Festival and Parade in the historic city of Roswell, Georgia. Held on the grounds of City Hall from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., this exciting Day of the Dead celebration will pay homage to the Mexican holiday that honors those who have died with food, marigolds, dancing, music and more.Free to attend for all ages, the fun-filled day will feature an array of activities and entertainment including a live mariachi band, street performers, a Mexican ballet group, complimentary face painting and so much more.  At dusk, festival goers can light up the night during a mesmerizing Lantern Parade led by a marching band along the marigold-filled streets in downtown Roswell.  Participants are welcome to bring their own lanterns or purchase a lantern kit at the festival for $5 to $25.In addition to food vendors serving authentic Mexican cuisine, the festival will have a dynamic Tequila Tasting Experience boasting three of the top tequilas with mini shots prepared by a mixologist that will also be curating tequila cocktails for sampling, and a chef on-site creating tequila-inspired meals for tasting.  For $45, attendees ages 21 and up will receive a souvenir cup, nine tasting tokens and a raffle entry to win a Mattel Dia de Muertos Barbie Doll.
