ILLUMINARIUM ATLANTA TO HOST ONE-OF-A-KIND BIG GAME VIEWING PARTY ON FEB 11

Illuminarium Atlanta is bringing sports fans of all ages to the sidelines with the city’s most immersive Big Game watch party on Feb. 11. Using the largest 360-degree screens in Atlanta, state-of-the-art surround sound and projection mapping to bring the game to life, guests will be swept up in the stadium atmosphere for every first down, tackle and touchdown as they cheer on their favorite teams during the biggest game of the year.


The unprecedented entertainment venue’s simulated floor-to-ceiling jumbotrons, high-definition screens, projected yard lines, indoor bars and raffles will make football fanatics feel as if they’ve stepped directly onto the gridiron. To round out the ultimate viewing experience, a snack buffet of tailgate favorites will be available for purchase starting at $55 per person along with football-themed drinks and Illuminarium’s expansive list of specialty game day cocktails.


Those looking to elevate their experience can purchase a VIP table for groups of six or more. Tables can be purchased online and include reserved seating, buffet access, shareable appetizer platter and specialty drink service (drinks not included). Specialty pricing is also available for groups of six or more not looking to buy a table by contacting atl-groups@illuminarium.com.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. for a Usher-themed tailgate party; entry is included with tickets. Featuring a full bar and a live DJ, guests can celebrate a win with cocktails while dancing to the top hits by this year’s halftime performer. For guests that choose not to participate in the Usher tailgate, doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are officially on sale for the eighth annual Food That Rocks, presented by Taste of Atlanta, Visit Sandy Springs, and the City of Sandy Springs. The carefully curated gourmet gathering takes place on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Recognized as Sandy Springs’ premier food and drink tasting event, Food That Rocks brings an incredible energy to City Green at City Springs for one-night only where attendees will sip, savor and celebrate the community’s vibrant culinary scene. A treat for your tastebuds, this “ultimate eatertainment experience” features unlimited tastes of mouth-watering food from 25+ of Sandy Springs’ best restaurants, a decadent dessert bar, wine, beer & craft cocktails, live music and an array of interactive experiences.

Tickets for Food That Rocks are all-inclusive, providing an all-access foodie fest full of craveable bites and beverage tastings for adults 21+. In addition to musical talent, Food That Rocks features one jam-packed evening of other captivating entertainment including live cooking demonstrations by some of Sandy Springs’ rockstar chefs, a tarot card reader, caricature artist, 360 photobooth and more. One restaurant will be deemed “best taste” and one drink tasting will take home the “best beverage” and go down as this year’s Food That Rocks crowd- selected favorites. The 85th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival is excited to introduce new concepts for the VIP Experience, including a version of Georgia’s popular Peachfest. These ticketed culinary events are held throughout the weekend overlooking the Coca-Cola Main Stage. Guests will be treated to fabulous food from local chefs plus wine, beer and cocktail tastings throughout the weekend. This 2021 version of Peachfest is an epic peach event for foodies appreciating local farmers and chefs who support community-based agriculture. Tickets to this year’s smaller adaptation of the successful event are $75 and include a menu of local plants and proteins paired with the state’s signature fruit: the Georgia peach. Guests will enjoy peaches and meats grilled over all-natural charcoal from Royal Oak, plant-based bites and sweet nibbles from a handful of the South’s notable tastemakers. After a tumultuous year, the team behind Wildwood Revival is bringing a new concept to help remind fans of the curated gathering that has been converging upon Cloverleaf Farm for the past six years. Into the Wildwood Summer Concert Series is a safe and socially distanced live music experience that will be taking place beginning May 28th, with Old Crow Medicine Show. Focused on friends and family enjoying live music at a quality and in a community that fans have become accustomed to at a Wildwood Revival event, each concert will feature a popular artist in Country, Rock, or Alternative music. As an added bit of news, dates for Wildwood Revival 2021 have also been revealed and will be beckoning fans to get out of the city October 8 – 10.
Following State of Georgia and CDC guidance on outdoor gatherings, Into the Wildwood will be diligently working to ensure
 the safety of fans, artists, and staff. The event will be following full health and safety protocols in accordance with local standards. Fans will be able to enjoy the evening within their private pod, which will be available for parties of two or four, with a designated space between each pod to provide further distance. Complete safety information can be found at www.WildwoodRevivial.com.
Into the Wildwood will also feature a Chef that fans can either purchase meals in advance or order onsite.  There will also be multiple beverage options, including cold craft beers from Creature Comforts Brewing Co, which fans can use to fill up stylish drinkware options from YETI.
All tickets for the May 28th date of Into the Wildwood Revival are on sale now, starting at $65 per person plus fees for pods of two and four. Premium tickets, including seating directly behind the first two rows of VIPs and are available starting at $85 per person plus fees. VIP Pods with designated seating in the first two rows of the concert space also include access to the VIP lounge, food and cocktail experiences, and private restrooms. After a successful chefs market in September, the Pratt Pullman District will be holding a second chefs market this Saturday, October 24 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

“The concept behind the market, much like a farmers market, is to create an open air market with rotating vendors selling dishes directly to the consumer,” the market’s website reads.

Vendors are a mix of new and returning restaurants, including The Abby Singer, Bakers Hatt, Three Lolas Bakeshop, Clairmont Cafe, Dona Joche Empanadas, Heaps, Jackalope, Jen Chan’s Supper Club, Kat’s Dumplings, Kamayan ATL, La Bodega, Millas Macarons, Nunu Cakes, Pho Cue, Seoul Chikin, The Real Mexican Vittles, and The Companion.

Attendees can purchase a parking pass ahead of time on the website. Additionally, two VIP Packages are available which include food vouchers to three food vendors, early access, a complimentary cocktail hour, and a tour of the Historic Pullman Yards.

Masks are required during the event.

The Grant Park Conservancy has revealed the live music lineup and schedule for the 17th annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, 2019. Earning a reputation as a must-attend event to see some of the hottest up-and-coming bands, local talent and notable favorites, festival goers are invited to watch two days of nonstop high-energy performances. Featuring a diverse lineup for all tastes, 2019 artists include Blair Crimmins, Stripped, Cicada Rhythm, Common Ground, Old Ceremony, Mafia do Samba, ASH, R.A.H and many more.


Produced by and benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy, the 2019 Grant Park Summer Shade Festival is open to all ages and free to attend. In addition to the impressive music lineup, this year’s festival will also have an expansive artist market, a Kids Zone presented by Grant Park Parents Network, the annual Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K, a diverse selection of local food trucks, wine, frosty beers, craft cocktails and more.
