Atlanta’s Immersive Holiday Pop-Up Experience Returns for a Month of Festive Programming, Seasonal Cocktails, Fire Pits, Food, Music, and Disco Santa 

The holidays will shine a little brighter this year as Westside Motor Lounge brings back its immersive holiday pop-up, Westside Sleigh Ride, for its third season. Beginning Saturday, November 28, and running through December 31, 2025, the month-long celebration transforms Atlanta’s favorite indoor-outdoor hangout into a winter wonderland filled with seasonal cocktails, cozy fire pits, festive décor, and plenty of holiday cheer.

Guests can expect a dynamic lineup of entertainment and programming throughout the season, from live DJs and bands to holiday-themed performances and pop-up surprises. In addition to a full slate of events to be announced in the coming weeks, the Westside Sleigh Ride experience will also feature rotating food and drink specials, family-friendly activities, and unique opportunities to celebrate the season with friends and loved ones.

For those looking to take their holiday celebration to the next level, Westside Motor Lounge’s Echo Room offers a one-of-a-kind, high-fi vinyl listening experience. Guests can enjoy the warmth of vintage sound systems while sipping expertly crafted cocktails, and holiday parties can be enhanced with one of Westside’s all-vinyl DJs for an additional cost, turning any gathering into a truly unforgettable experience.

Paint the town red and black for ATHDay at Westside Motor Lounge, a celebration of all things Athens, Georgia, on Saturday, May 24, 2025. The Westside Atlanta venue will kick things off at noon with a full-on takeover featuring local food, Creature Comforts beer, artists, and giveaways—all straight from the Classic City and America’s best college town. The energy kicks into high gear from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. when five Athens-based musical acts take the stage to put on an electrifying show that gives audiences a taste of Athens’ legendary underground music scene. A Two-Day Celebration of Music, Art, & Community Benefitting Crawfish For A Cause

Westside Motor Lounge welcomes the return of Mental Awakening, a two-day festival filled with live music, local art, and community spirit, on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, 2025. Presented by Crawfish For A Cause, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, the annual event brings together music lovers, artists, and advocates for an unforgettable weekend — all in support of critical mental health initiatives in the Atlanta area. Now in its fifth year, Mental Awakening has grown from a backyard gathering with just two bands into a multi-day festival that draws over 2,000 attendees, showcases a dozen bands, and raises thousands of dollars to support local nonprofits working directly with individuals, schools, and treatment centers across the community.

The 2025 lineup is packed with standout performances from Eggy, Shadowgrass, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, Clay Street Unit, Dizgo, Arkansauce, Nether Hour, Potch, Three Star Revival, Cody Matlock, Spaghetti Western, The Regulars, The Redwoods, and Tate Renner. Whether music fans are longtime supporters or first-time festivalgoers, the diverse mix of jam bands, bluegrass, rock, and funk offers something for everyone.

Along with two full days of music, guests can explore work from local artists, enjoy a wide variety of food and drinks, and dig into the festival’s signature crawfish boil on Saturday. Crawfish lovers, take note— Saturday’s signature crawfish boil is always a hot ticket, and servings are limited. Snag crawfish tickets in advance when purchasing festival admission to not miss out. 

Westside Motor Lounge, known for its expansive indoor-outdoor space, will again serve as the home for the weekend’s festivities. Spanning nearly three acres, the venue features a full-service restaurant, two bars, a private event space, Echo Room — a curated Jazz Kissa listening bar — and a vibrant outdoor courtyard with shuffleboard courts, fire pits, ample seating, a vintage Airstream bar, and a performance stage that will showcase all of the weekend’s live music.

A pop and crackle resonated from speakers at the bottom of the hill on Westside Motor Lounge’s complex and across Atlanta as Echo Room came to life after months of preparation. Meticulously curated by four legendary Atlanta DJs, Kai Alce, DJ Kemit, Salah Ananse, and Mike Zarin, and Westside Motor Lounge’s own Kelly Campbell, Echo Room is an homage to the listening bars of post-World War II Japan and increasing in popularity in NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, and now Atlanta.

Stylized in 1970s chic and with a comfort reminiscent of a well-worn recording studio basement, Echo Room provides an inner groove that sonically transports listeners to that point in time where each note meant something to the artist as they were recording it. Designed with music enthusiasts in mind, sounds of House, Soul, Classic Rock, Jazz, Bossanova, Latin, Pop, Hip Hop, and more spill out of the 1750 sq ft space each Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6p to 12a as guests bask in the warmth of vintage sound systems while sipping on expertly crafted cocktails. The Echo Room’s sound system, designed by Salah Ananse, features vintage studio equipment sourced from Hi-Fi aficionados throughout North Georgia.

The holiday season just got a whole lot merrier as Westside Motor Lounge returns with its immersive holiday pop-up experience—Westside Sleigh Ride. Beginning Saturday, November 30th, and running through December 31st, this festive extravaganza is the ultimate destination for holiday fun in Atlanta. With cozy fire pits, seasonal cocktails, pop-up food vendors, and an entertainment lineup filled with DJs and live performances, Westside Sleigh Ride is the perfect destination for holiday cheer, whether celebrating with family or escaping them. This year’s festivities include everything from live DJ sets and music to special appearances by Disco Santa, dancing elves, and even a Grinch Dance-Off for those looking to stir up a little holiday mischief. 


Westside Motor Lounge’s West Bar is also available for private party bookings throughout the holiday season.
