As Halloween approaches, Burn Social Club in Buckhead is full of options. On October 28th, Flamingo Productions presents Latin Elegance Wednesdays’ Masquerade Ball. Find a mask and wear it well, so your true identity, no one can tell. Hosted by DJ Carlos Morales, this Halloween celebration features The Atlanta Show Band. Cover is $10 but ladies enter free until 10pm.

If you can’t make that party, be at Burn on Friday, October 30th for Halloween: Burn it Down. It’s a big night to get dressed up as there will be a costume contest with the best winning a trip to Las Vegas or Mexico. Drink specials all night long including $5 Ice Luge Shots and $6 Stoli O-inspired specialty Halloween drinks. Red Bull Soapbox Derby

About: On Saturday, October 14th, the Red Bull Soapbox Race comes to Atlanta! The Red Bull Soapbox Race is a national event for amateur drivers racing homemade soapbox vehicles. Each hand-made machine is fueled by creativity and competitive fun – not to mention the need for speed. This unique non-motorized racing event challenges both experienced racers and amateurs alike to design and build outrageous, human-powered soapbox dream machines and compete against the clock in a downhill race (c/o the Redbullsopaboxrace.com site). Some of the teams include Atlanta Beer Festivals, Mellow Mushroom, Uber, and Sweetwater Brewery. The event is free.

Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival and Taste of Oktoberfest

Date:  Friday, October 23rd & Saturday, October 24th
Time: 6 to 11pm and 4pm 10 11pm

About: On Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th comes KSU’s Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival and Taste of Oktoberfest to Kennesaw! With hot air balloons, beer, music, food, and much more, Owl-O-Ween is a fun yearly event where kids and adults alike will enjoy beautiful lights in the sky. Tickets are$15 for adults and $8 for children. VIP includes an Italian Dinner and 4 drink tickets (non-alcoholic) and is $75.
