Hosted by NYC’s Sapphire Jones and featuring Nashville’s GiGi La Femme alongside Toronto’s Lucky Minx and Candi LeCoeur, Desta del Carmen, Risky Sour, Roula Roulette & Ada Manzhart from Atlanta! Why is Wasabassco Burlesque a date night made right? They’re a world-renowned for its disarmingly sexy combination of contemporary striptease and top-tier variety. Bringing together retro-glam sophistication and a playful sense of humor, events are carefully curated to feature only the finest talent, an eclectic range of jaw-dropping acts that change with every show.

9TH ANNUAL ATLANTA BBQ FEST

The ninth annual Atlanta BBQ Fest will be held on Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th behind Atlantic Station. There will be lots of BBQ to try, lots of beer & bourbon to drink, and lots of fun to have!

 

There will be multiple sessions to take part in, as listed below. 

 

Hogs and Hops Session: Saturday, May 5 from 1pm-5pm (VIP at 12pm) – Hogs and Hops will offer all-inclusive tickets featuring 50+ beer and wine options and BBQ samples from some of Atlanta’s best BBQ restaurants. Food and beverages included. 

 

General Admission tickets: $45 advance, $50 after April 26, $60 day of event. 

VIP tickets will also include hour early entry at 12pm, exclusive area, and exclusive VIP BBQ: $65 advance, $75 after April 26, not available day of. 21+ only.

Saturday Night Session: Saturday, May 5 from 5pm-9pm This session will be all ages and include live music, time to chat with the Competition BBQ teams; BBQ and drinks will be available for purchase. General Admission tickets: $8 Advance, $12 after April 26, $15 day of. (Kids under 12 are free.)

Sunday Session: Sunday, May 6, from 12pm-6pm This session will be all ages and include live music. BBQ and drinks will be available for purchase. General Admission tickets: $8 Advance, $12 after April 26, $15 day of. (Kids under 12 are free.)

Taste of the Competition: Sunday, May 6 from 1pm-4pm  This ticket includes entry at 12pm and unlimited BBQ tastings from the Competition teams from 1pm-4pm. $20 Advance, $25 after April 26, $30 day of event.  

Bourbon Experience: Sunday, May 6 from 2pm-5pm  This ticket includes entry at 12pm and a Bourbon Experience with sampling of 40+ bourbon options from 2pm-5pm. $35 advance, $40 after April 26, $45 day of event. 

Sunday Combo Ticket: Includes entry, Bourbon Tasting and Taste of the Competition: $45 advance, $50 after April 26, $60 day of event.

GREAT SOUTHERN BEER FEST 2018

The South’s newest craft beer festival is coming to ATL on  July 28th! Join us in the Virginia–Highlands from 1:00 to 6:00 pm to celebrate all the creative, unpredictable, hop heavy, and heady craft beers this side of the Mason-Dixie line.

With the South emerging as the next craft beer frontier, the Great Southern Beer Fest combines craft beer, country rock, and Southern food with a dash of soul. The best of the best Southern breweries will be onsite pouring samples of their favorite craft brews.

Spring Festival on Ponce 2018

About: The eighth annual Spring Festival on Ponce will be held Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8, 2018 in Atlanta’s historic Olmsted Linear Park. The sister festival to the Fall Festival on Ponce (October 20 and 21, 2018), the Spring Festival on Ponce will transform the park, which was carefully restored by the Olmsted Linear Park Alliance, into an outdoor art gallery to the backdrop of budding spring foliage. The two-day event will feature over 125 displays of local and regional fine art and crafts, utilizing the gorgeous landscape designed by one of America’s most celebrated landscape architects, Fredrick Olmsted, Sr. In addition to the abundance of unique art, there will be a children’s area, local gourmet food trucks, beverages and a stage for acoustic musical performances. The event is free, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome.

2018 Georgia Steeplechase

About: The Steeplechase held at Kingston Downs is a timeless southern tradition held at one of the most widely respected tracks in the south east. Each year, tens-of-thousands of equestrian enthusiast and organizations come together for an amazing social event benefiting several Georgia charities. Since 1966, the Steeplechase has been Georgia’s premier entertainment and sporting event often referred to as “the best lawn party in Georgia.” This year’s steeplechase will offer racegoers an unforgettable day featuring food trucks, shopping, wine tastings, and a new kids corral. Racegoers will also enjoy the ever popular Hat Parade and Contest, the terrier races, and opportunity to attend the Chairman’s Pavilion and Brunch on the Backstretch parties. We look forward to having you, your friends and families join us on April 7th! Tickets range from $40 for General Admission to $400 Early Bird Chairman’s Pavilion until April 1st. The Early Bird Chairman’s Pavilion is located on the hill above the finish line, with premium open bar, elegant lunch buffets, car valet, and full access to the Paddock & the finish line. Viewing the race doesn’t get better than this! You can also purchase Brunch on the Backstretch for $90 until April 1st.
