25TH ANNUAL ATLANTA SANTA PUB CRAWL

The Atlanta Santa Pub Crawl is now in its 25th year!! It was originally started by a small group of friends as a means of raising some Christmas spirit – and spreading some JOY at the same time. Now its annual tradition in ATL as we take over Midtown at Crescent Ave bars! So, Picture Halloween colliding with Christmas to create the biggest damn Christmas party this side of the North Pole! Over the past 24 years, thousands of people have joined us for what we consider to be the kick-off to the Holiday season. Since Christmas is the of giving, we are putting on Toys for Tots US Marine Corps toy drive. MOVEMBER WITH SECOND SELF

All November-long, Second Self is fundraising for Movember, the movement that’s changing the face of men’s health. They’ve started a team here to help raise money and awareness this month for prostate cancer and testicular cancer. At the end of the campaign, on Thursday, Dec. 1st from 6 to 9pm, Second Self will host a Movember Party in their taproom. Guests can show off their ‘stache and enjoy Second Self’s latest brews. They will also have a costume contest, food truck, games, prizes, music, and more! Tickets are available here for $20 and include 6 samples of beer and a souvenir glass.

THE AQUAFINA RINK AT PARK TAVERN IN PIEDMONT PARK SET TO OPEN FOR THE SEASON ON THANKSGIVING DAY

The Aquafina Rink at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park will glide back into the hearts of Atlantans on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, 2016, when it opens for the 2016-2017 season. Located in the spacious Garden Tent at Park Tavern on the Atlanta BeltLine, this favorite Intown holiday tradition will once again feature modern amenities for day and night skating including a covered rink that is 85 feet long and 40 feet wide and comfortably accommodates 200. Open through Presidents Day, Monday, February 20, 2017, Atlantans and visitors alike can enjoy unforgettable ice skating experiences including all day skate sessions, themed children’s birthday parties, ‘Skate After 8’ for ages 16 and up, and a number of special events including a high-energy NYE show courtesy of Yacht Rock Revue. Starting at just $15 to skate all day on non-peak season days, The Rink provides high-quality rental skates that are professionally sharpened.

Heroes and Villains Atlanta Fan Fest 2016

On Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20th is the Heroes and Villains Fest Fan parading into Atlanta. You will have the opportunity to meet your favorite celebrities, go to exclusive panels, get celebrity photos, attend events, and much more. Some of the celebrities in attendance are Stephen Amell and several other Arrow castmates, as well as celebrities from The Flash, Guardians of the Galaxy, Once Upon a Time, and Gotham. It’s an experience of a lifetime. Beyond the celebrities, you will immerse yourself in the world of superhLearneroes and villains. Learn what it takes to be a superhero by participating in obstacles, games of skill, and maybe even gain a superpower too. Get insight into your favorite shows, learning how they are created from the creators & talent behind them. Tickets and ticket packages range from $35 general admission to $220 for two-day VIP to Platinum VIP at $900.

Indie Craft Experience Holiday Shopping Spectacular 2016

Always a favorite, the ICE Holiday Shopping Spectacular will return to the Georgia Freight Depot on Saturday, November 19th, and Sunday, November 20th. Featuring 165 of the very best craft and vintage vendors from across the country, shoppers are also invited to enjoy offerings from 10 local food vendors, and take in the sounds of DJ Sea-Lark on Saturday and DJ Zano on Sunday. The event will also have a special scavenger hunt sponsored by Clue Town Books and Tiny Doors ATL will host a Tiny Tree Lot both days 11 a.m. from 2 p.m. The first 250 shoppers each day will also receive complimentary swag bags upon arrival designed by local artists Kristen Ramsey of Sign Me Up Signs and illustrator Lucy Ricketts. The event is opening from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Entry is $5 cash at the door and kids 12 and under are free.
