HARRY POTTER™: THE EXHIBITION IN ATLANTA WILL CONTINUE TO WELCOME VISITORS THROUGH APRIL 16

ATLANTA: February 8, 2022: Due to popular demand, Harry Potter™: The Exhibition’s Atlanta run has been extended at 200 Peachtree in Downtown Atlanta. The exhibition will now close on April 16, 2023, giving more Wizarding World fans the chance to experience the magic.

Enthusiastic reactions to the exhibition have also been received from top media outlets including Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Magazine, Atlanta News First, Paste Magazine, Muggle Net, WSB-TV, and more.

The iconic experience invites fans to experience the behind the scenes magic firsthand. As the exhibition heads into the closing weeks, visitors are encouraged to bring a friend on “Two For One Tuesdays,” a brand new ticket offering that gives guests a fantastic paired price for a limited time.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition Atlanta allows fans the chance to celebrate the wonder of the Harry Potter series as well as and the wider Wizarding World in this unique and interactive way. Upon check in, personalize your experience by picking your Hogwarts house, Patronus and favorite character wand and then earn points for your house throughout the adventure. The spacious galleries encompass over 38,000 sq. ft. giving visitors the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes, engage and walk-through iconic environments including The Great Hall, Hogwarts classrooms, Hagrid’s Hut and The Forbidden Forest. Test your Quidditch skills, place your name on Marauder’s Map and see film costumes, props and artifacts up close in the incredible Exhibition.

To top off the one-of-a-kind experience, the Café features an inspired food and beverage menu, including savory and sweet items and specially themed drinks such as “The Philosopher’s Stone,” a special mix of cranberry, lime and pineapple juices with a splash of soda and an Edible Smoke Bubble, completing the magical presentation.

Guests also can enjoy the retail store with official licensed collectibles and treats including bespoke art from MinaLima, the graphic design duo from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, bottled Butterbeer, notable snacks like Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Botts Every-Flavor Jelly Beans, and exclusive Harry Potter: The Exhibition Atlanta items only available in store and online for a limited time. The store and Cafe are open to the public and do not require an Exhibition ticket to visit.

Three Parties, Great Eats, Anniversary Collaboration Beer Release, Giveaways and More

Festivities Kick Off on Monday, January 30, 2023

Good things come in threes so Ed and Kristen “Red” Sumpter, founders of Red’s Beer Garden, are celebrating the third anniversary of their local haunt with three beer-infused birthday parties and the release of a special anniversary collaboration beer with Elsewhere Brewing.


On Monday, January 30th, the festivities will kick off with an all-you-can-eat Three-Year Anniversary Dinner featuring a “mini snack attack” menu. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., party goers can dig into a miniaturized assortment of Red’s favorites including crostinis, pulled pork sliders, smoked lemon pepper wet chicken wings, chicken salad bites, corn puppies, avocado crostinis, mini cupcakes, and pretzel bites with a (wait for it…) beer cheese fountain. Tickets are $55 per person and include a mini snack attack, an anniversary beer glass, and a 23 oz pour of BFFs: Beer Friends Forever, Red’s anniversary collaboration beer with Elsewhere Brewing. Tickets are for ages 21 and up and must be purchased in advance at www.redsbeergarden.com. 

Next up is Red’s Three-Year Bottle Share on Friday, February 3rd from 6 to 9 p.m. For $40 per person, beer lovers will be able to sample six to eight rare brews including sour, dark and Belgian offerings handpicked by go-to beer aficionado Kristen “Red” Sumpter. Guests can also talk it up with the experts from Liberator Distributing and get the latest scoop on all things beer in 2023. Make this Valentine’s Day extra special and gift a hand written love letter. Come alone to learn how to write a letter in modern calligraphy or bring your lover with you as a cute Valentine’s Day activity.

In this class, you’ll learn the basic process of building letters in modern styles with guides, worksheets, and instruction. You’ll also receive a beginner kit of calligraphy materials including a pen holder, nibs, ink, and of course paper. During the last portion of class I’ll walk you through creating a layout for your letter and how to apply the skills you learned to a final piece.

No prior calligraphy experience is necessary. We’ll be covering how to use the materials as well as how to build letters, write words, and layout a final piece of calligraphy.

EVENTIDE BREWING TO HOLD 9TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY

Grant Park’s favorite brewery is celebrating its last year in single digits with an ‘On Cloud Nine’ themed party, special release brews, entertainment and more 

On January 28, Eventide Brewing will host a celebration that’s sure to put Atlantans ‘On Cloud Nine.’ 

The anniversary party will feature three limited-edition beers on draft, including the Scarlet Zenith Bourbon Barrel-Aged Quad, Head in the Clouds Bourbon Barrel-Aged Oatmeal Stout and Cloudberry American Wheat. The Scarlet Zenith and Head in the Clouds will also be available in beer bombers for to-go purchase. 

Additionally, there will be kid-friendly activities until 4 p.m., food vendors, cotton candy, a balloon drop for prizes, live bands and karaoke into the night.

Cobb County’s favorite open-air destination offers new activities to start off the year

Visitors will look forward to 2023 with The Battery Atlanta’s lineup of events to kick offthe New Year. Baseball fans can celebrate the 2021 World-Series champions, The Atlanta Braves, during Braves Fest this January. Live! at the Battery Atlanta will host a watch party for the College Football Championship and show major UFC matches on the biggest screen in the Southeast. With the return of the Cornhole ATL Winter League, Atlantans can participate in a seven-week season of matches that culminate with a season-ending tournament offering trophies and prizes. The Coca-Cola Roxy continues with a full roster of performers throughout the month.

Braves Fest presented by Delta Air Lines
​Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
​Fans are invited to join the Atlanta Braves for photo opportunities, autographs, on-field activities and a celebration of Atlanta’s favorite baseball team! ​Cornhole returns to The Battery Atlanta in 2023 with seven-week leagues for all levels of cornhole players. The league includes a season-ending tournament with a championship trophy and other prizes. The first-place team will qualify to compete in the State Championship Cornament and chance to get their team’s name on The Cup. More information on joining a team can be found here.

LIVE! AT THE BATTERY FEBRUARY AND MARCH EVENTS 2023

Mardi Gras Live!, Big Game Bash, Live UFC Fight Event, Shamrocks & Shenanigans & More

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Atlanta, GA) – Live! at The Battery – the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta – announces its events lineup for February and March 2023, plus ongoing happenings like Girls Night Out, Freedom Friday and Silent Saturday.

  • Big Game Bash (Sun., Feb. 12) – Clear eyes, full hearts and a big screen for the biggest professional football game. Live! at the Battery’s Sports and Social Atlanta is the place to be for an in-game experience full of games, giveaways and so much more.   • Mardi Gras Live! (Sat., Feb. 18) – The entertainment destination is bringing the French Quarter back to Atlanta this Mardi Gras.   • Live NFC Event (Fri., March 10) – This March, Live! at the Battery is hosting their first National Fighting Championship (NFC) event. The action-packed evening will feature live professional and amateur MMA and Muay Thai fights. Fight attendees will have the chance to experience 12+ fights in the NFC cage at one of the most exciting and new environments for watching live fights.   • Shamrocks & Shenanigans (Fri., March 17) – Get ready to enjoy everything GREEN at Live! At the Battery’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Guests can enjoy all the best Irish-themed entertainment, including signature drinks, green beer and live entertainment to help make St. Patrick’s Day pure gold. Those looking for some basketball madness can enjoy games on the 32ft LED TV screen as well. Come sham-rock & roll and don’t miss out on the luck of the Irish! A one-of-a-kind place to catch sports, dine in style, sip cold beer and craft cocktails, play games and do a bit of bull riding and line dancing, Live! at The Battery plays host to some of Atlanta’s most fun food and drink events. Ongoing happenings include:

  • Girls Night Out with food and drink specials every Thursday from 8-11pm
  • Freedom Friday, which welcomes military personnel, vets, first responders and public service members to skip the line, get free cover (credentials required) and enjoy drink specials every first Friday of the month.
  • Silent Saturday, inviting guests to grab a pair of headphones and get in the groove with beats from local DJs

This August, they’ll also host Live! Brewfest with Terrapin Taproom to serve tastings of over 100 local craft beers alongside live music, games and great food. More details to come.

ATLANTA WINTER BEER FESTIVAL 2023

We are back again to celebrate the Atlanta Winter Beer Festival at the Atlantic Station event space on Saturday, February 11, 2023, 1pm-5pm.  The event space will give us plenty of room for lots of beer, wine and seltzer, great food trucks and a big heated tent with live music and DJ Qtip.

We will have over 150 beers, featuring Atlanta and Georgia Breweries, as well as a few breweries from around the country.

There will be live music and DJ Qtip will be running the dance party under the DJ tent.

Tickets are $45 advance, $50 after Feb. 2, and $60 day of event. First 500 tickets will be just $35.

Your ticket price includes entry, a souvenir cup, entertainment, and all of your beer, wine, and seltzer samples. Food will cost extra.
This event has sold out many times, so get your tickets early.

This is a 21 and up event, no exceptions, no kids, no babies, no pets. Rain or Shine, no refunds. Beer will cut off at 4:45pm. We will have FREE bottled water available. We will not have Designated Driver tickets.

There is plenty of parking at the venue, but we encourage other forms of getting to the event, like Uber, Lyft a cab, or walking. Safe Ride America will be on site if you do need to get you and your car home safely. Marta is also a short walk away, via the Arts Center Station and Atlantic Station has a shuttle from there.
