8TH ANNUAL BOOS AND BREWS

Atlanta Beer Festivals hosts the 8th annual Boos and Brews on Saturday, Oct 28th from 8pm – 2am at Center Stage / The Loft / Vinyl. Two DJs and a live band will be performing in the three separate spaces of the venue. There will be a General Admission ticket as well as a Beer Lovers ticket option. (See below for more info.)

Costume Contests: “Best Male,” “Best Female,” “Best Couple,” and “Best Group” with Winter Beer Fest tickets as the prizes. We will also have a contest for “Best Costume” after the event on Facebook for $500 cash. The most Facebook ‘Likes’ wins the money.

General Admission includes entry, entertainment and up to two drink tickets with entry before 9pm*  Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 after Oct. 19, and $25 day of event.

*Receive two drink tickets with entry between 8 and 8:30pm, one drink ticket with entry between 8:30 and 9pm. Drink tickets will be good for one Bud, Bud Light, Goose Island or Shock Top bottle, or one vodka drink (actual drinks subject to change based on sponsor preference). All tickets must be used by 9:30pm.

The Beer Lovers Ticket includes all beer samples from 8pm-1am and is $40 in advance, $45 after Oct. 19, and $55 day of event. Only the Beer Lovers ticket holders can get beer options from the draft stations. General Admission can only purchase bottles or cans of beer and liquor.

***Ticketmaster fees can be avoided by purchasing at the Center Stage Box Office, Monday – Friday, 11am – 6pm. 

Chalktoberfest Chalk and Beer Festival 2017

Date: Saturday, October 14th – Sunday, October 15th

About: Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art (MCMA) presents its annual Chalktoberfest on the Marietta Square in Downtown Marietta. The Chalktoberfest theme is “Bring your A-Game” and will feature over 90 professional chalk artists from around the US, Italy, Ukraine, Mexico and Canada. Artists will dazzle spectators from 10a.m. to 5 p.m. during the two day event.  Featured chalk artists include but are not limited to, the world renowned Tracy Lee Stum who has won numerous awards and written her own book entitled The Art of Chalk. Vera Bugatti from Italy has been featured in several books including Sidewalk Canvas, Street Art, and the Art of Chalk. Valentina Sforzini from Italy has also competed in festivals all over the world, won numerous events, and in 2010 and 2012 won first place in the Sarasota Chalk festival where she was featured in a documentary about the “Street Painting World”. These three plus many more award winning and established professional artists bring the street to life! On Saturday Oct. 14th only, Chalktoberfest includes the annual Craft Beer Festival, with a selection of more than 100 different craft beers. The Craft Beer Festival allows visitors to walk around and enjoy the chalk art while drinking samples.  MCMA encourages guests to visit local restaurants and talk to professional artists from around the country as they create their masterpieces.  Enjoy live music all day and an after-hours concert in the Park featuring Doug Cameron and his 17 piece Orchestra.  Tickets for the beer fest are $45 in advance and $50 at the door. Access to the chalk art is FREE.

BHB Pumpkin Fest 2017

About: It’s fall, the weather is getting colder (except right now, yikes), so what does fall mean to you? Halloween? Changing leaves? Pumpkins? Burnt Hickory Brewery thinks its time to drink pumpkin beer to celebrate the season! And with that, comes Die Kreuzen, their autumnal offering, but this year it’s only ONE batch. ONE batch? You have to come and get some THIS SATURDAY during Pumpkin Fest! It’s like a big shanty, only lighter with pumpkin spice. On top of that, lots of one-off beers, food for purchase, entertainment, and the best part? NO CLOWNS! Brewery entry is free. Buy by the glass.
