THE VILLAGE DUNWOODY’S 3-2-1 ANNIVERSARY

Funwoody is delighted to announce a grand 3, 2, 1 Anniversary celebration taking place on November 8. Dash Hospitality Group plans to commemorate BAR{n} Booze & Bites’ third year of Cheers-style toasts to the neighborhood, Morty’s Meat & Supply’s second year of flowing brews and delicious BBQ, and Message In A Bottle’s first year of coastal vibes. David Abes, owner of Dash Hospitality Group, “It’s been an amazing journey opening all these restaurants and [the] food truck. Every day, my team and I love seeing the smiling faces of our guests from Dunwoody and beyond!” The event will mark another year of culinary excellence and community gathering in the heart of Dunwoody.

     Starting from 7 PM, the courtyard will transform into a lively festival, featuring delectable dishes, a live DJ, and much more! All the restaurants will be open and ready to go for the attendees. DJ Coco will be spinning all night on the big stage with classic hits from the 70s to now! Funwoody, partnered with Tucker Brewing, will launch their, “BAR{n} Brew Lager,” which will release that evening.

     A portion of the night’s proceeds will be donated to the Dunwoody Police Foundation. The courtyard could not be a public and fun-loving space without those who protect and serve our community.

This upcoming season, Rootstock, the culinary destination nestled in the heart of downtown Woodstock, is thrilled to announce a week-long celebration in honor of its seventh anniversary. Kicking off the anniversary week is an exclusive and intimate listening room experience featuring the incredibly talented Paul Childers. With his soulful sound and electrifying performances, Childers is set to mesmerize the audience on September 22nd at 6 pm, promising an evening filled with enchanting music and meaningful connections.

In addition to the captivating musical performance, Rootstock will host a trivia wine tasting experience on September 25th dedicated to “For the Love of Wine”. TIO LUCHO’S MARKS TWO YEARS WITH PERU ON PONCE

THE INTERLOCK IN WEST MIDTOWN CELEBRATES THIRD ANNIVERSARY

The vertical mixed-use destination to host a community picnic in Highline Park, reflects on growth 

The Interlock, the nine-acre mixed-use development in West Midtown, will celebrate three years as a gathering place for the community this March. Driven by West Midtown’s tech and population boom, The Interlock has evolved into a thriving destination with experiential attractions, unique retail and chef-infused dining. On Saturday March 23, the community is invited to celebrate the milestone with a Picnic in the Park at Highline Park. 

“The rapid rise of West Midtown in recent years inspired the need for more dining, shopping and entertainment options to accommodate the growing population; thus, The Interlock was born,” said Shawn J. Tibbetts, President and Chief Operating Officer at Armada Hoffler, which owns The Interlock. “Three years later, we reflect on the success of the project by inviting the community to an afternoon of celebration.”

The Interlock’s third anniversary picnic will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at Highline Park, the greenspace located on Beeline Boulevard. Guests can expect photo opportunities, delicious picnic-style food, frozen drinks and live music. Picnic in the Park is free to attend; food and beverage costs will vary. The Interlock offers free lunch parking during the week. 

West Midtown’s population has more than doubled since 2000, per U.S. Census Bureau data. The neighborhood is home to a remarkably young cohort of largely Millennials and Gen Zers, with more than 78% of residents born after 1981, according to a Cushman & Wakefield analysis. To match the growing demand and young population, The Interlock has welcomed a variety of experiential offerings, such as Puttshack, The Escape Game and Sandbox VR, along with diverse restaurant and retailers.

The Interlock is a private-public partnership with Georgia Institute of Technology. Armada Hoffler acquired the project in May 2023 from SJC Ventures, but provided significant development and construction expertise as well as mezzanine financing at the project’s inception. SJC Ventures remains the owner of Interlock Tower. On Saturday, September 23, 2023, the highly-anticipated German tradition will be in full force at Wild Heaven’s Avondale location (135B Maple St, Avondale Estates, GA 30002) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. At the Wies’n, guests can expect traditional German food from Chef Carla Fears accompanied by live German music and a stein hoisting competition. In honor of the brewery’s 13th birthday, guests can pick up a commemorative stein and be the first to try their limited-edition 13 anniversary beer a very special blend of barrel-aged treats that will be truly one-of-a-kind. HOBNOB HALCYON GOES HOG WILD WITH SECOND ANNIVERSARY PIG ROAST

HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern is celebrating the second anniversary of its Halcyon location with a pig roast and festive party on Sunday, Oct. 2.

For $25 a person, guests can feast on eight ounces of roasted pork and an all-you-can-eat side buffet boasting mac and cheese, collard greens, and more. Tickets also secure two 16-ounce beers before 5 p.m., a take-home HOBNOB glass, two raffle tickets, and swag.

Doors open at 4 p.m. with the buffet and live music starting at 5 p.m., so guests are invited to come early to ensure a seat for the show. HOBNOB staff will give out free swag all night along with chances to win prizes through the raffle. The patio bar will serve beer, Bulleit bourbon specials, and a full bar.
