OPA! THE GREEK PIZZERIA & GYROS FIRST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Sunday, December 4, 2022 From 2 p.m to 8 p.m.

Opa! The Greek Pizzeria & Gyros is celebrating its one-year anniversary on Sunday, December 4th from 2 to 8 p.m. Owners and restauranteurs Johnny Gianoulidis and Paul Masci invite party goers to enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring a variety of pizzas, including vegan and vegetarian options, along with signature Greek favorites like hummus, tzatziki dips, spanakopita, fried pies, baklava, and more. Cold draft brews will tap for $4, the first 25 people to buy tickets will receive a free commemorative t-shirt, The Greek will also have live music, giveaways, a raffle, and plenty of surprises throughout the festive event. 

The Greek is a love letter to my Greek immigrant parents and to all the New England pizza joints, that welcomed every last person that walked through the doors and aimed for a better life in their newly adopted country,” says, Gianoulidis. “We are grateful for the patrons, friends and family that have opened this love letter with us this past year and look forward to celebrating for many years to come with our community, friends and patrons, old and newly found.”

A portion of ticket proceeds and draft beer sales throughout the month of December will benefit Second Helpings Atlanta, a nonprofit food rescue organization whose mission is to reduce hunger and food waste in the Metro Atlanta area by distributing healthy, nutritious surplus food to those in need. HOBNOB HALCYON GOES HOG WILD WITH SECOND ANNIVERSARY PIG ROAST

HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern is celebrating the second anniversary of its Halcyon location with a pig roast and festive party on Sunday, Oct. 2.

For $25 a person, guests can feast on eight ounces of roasted pork and an all-you-can-eat side buffet boasting mac and cheese, collard greens, and more. Tickets also secure two 16-ounce beers before 5 p.m., a take-home HOBNOB glass, two raffle tickets, and swag.

Doors open at 4 p.m. with the buffet and live music starting at 5 p.m., so guests are invited to come early to ensure a seat for the show. HOBNOB staff will give out free swag all night along with chances to win prizes through the raffle. The patio bar will serve beer, Bulleit bourbon specials, and a full bar.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased online for this exciting night.

 If good ideas are a dime a dozen, co-founders Nick Purdy and Eric Johnson honed in on (and executed) the right one when they started Wild Heaven Beer 12 years ago. Through its decade-plus existence, Wild Heaven has created some of the most widely recognized beers highly regarded for taste, creativity, and branding. Beginning with Ode to Mercy Brown Ale and Invocation Belgian-style Golden Ale through to its bestselling Emergency Drinking Beer, ATL Easy Ale, and Sunburst IPA, behind the guidance of Brewmaster Eric Johnson, Wild Heaven has been in constant pursuit of keeping fans engaged.

Raise a glass in honor of the Grant Park brewery’s seventh anniversary with limited release brews and the chance to win free draft beer for a year.

Eventide Brewing is celebrating seven years of bringing sessionable craft beer to everyone by bringing a touch of Vegas to Atlanta with its “Lucky #7” party on Saturday, January 9.

 

Eventide’s anniversary celebration will begin at noon and feature two limited-edition beer releases – a 2021 Belgian Tripel Anniversary Ale and a Barrel-aged Highlander Scotch Ale – along with 17 other beers on tap. 

 

In addition to enjoying special brews, party-goers can test their luck with scratch-off lottery tickets in hopes of winning a variety of prizes, including beer, merch and more. One lucky winner will walk away with free Eventide draft beer for the year. 

 

Food will be available throughout the day as Lobster Dogs Food Truck, which serves delicious lobster, crab and shrimp rolls, makes its Atlanta debut. 

 

Finally, guests can enjoy live entertainment throughout the day followed by a DJ beginning at 5 p.m. 

 

Eventide’s “Lucky #7” party is a ticketed event for anyone who is 21 and up. Guests can choose from three ticketing options, including a to-go package featuring a virtual live tasting with Eventide’s brewmaster, Adam Lukey.

To celebrate four successful years in East Cobb, Doug Turbush, chef and owner of Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar, has teamed up with Gate City Brewing Company and The Jeff Mosier Ensemble for a fourth anniversary Bluegrass Birthday Bash on March 3.

Turbush has thoughtfully created three new and exclusive entrées for guests to try. Crab and lobster enthusiasts will be thrilled to devour the All of the Alaskan King Crab Platter or a whole Maine lobster. Guests also will enjoy live bluegrass music from The Jeff Mosier Ensemble and $4 Gate City drafts served on the patio (weather permitting) and at the main bar. Gate City beers pair exceptionally well with the evening’s James River oysters on the half shell and oyster roast specials.

The White Bull is the ONLY place in Atlanta that hosts The Polenta Party crafted by Chef/Owner Pasquale “Pat” Pascarella.
An interactive, table-top dining experience starts with fresh greens and to-die-for bread and butter then the magic happens.
The Polenta Table–
a generous serving of freshly-milled, piping-hot polenta
poured down the center of The White Bull’s extensive communal table.
Chef Pat then tops off the polenta with a variety proteins and locally-sourced veggies.
Final touches of fresh Pecorino Romano cheese and high-quality olive oil, accompany the polenta spread–all directly from Chef Pat’s Italian homeland.
Oh, and there’s dessert to top it off!
