ATLANTIC STATION SHINES BRIGHT THIS NOVEMBER WITH HOLIDAY FESTIVITIES

The Heart of ATL comes alive with festive lights, lively performances and community gatherings
Atlantic Station welcomes the holiday season with a lineup of seasonal events and attractions kicking off the holidays in Midtown. The celebration begins with Skate the Station, transforming District Ave into Atlanta’s largest outdoor ice-skating rink surrounded by festive décor and skyline views. Light the Station returns next, where Atlantic Station’s 50-foot tree is illuminated during an evening of music, dancing, costumed characters and a Candy Land–themed parade. Following the tree lighting, guests can experience Celebration at the Station, an immersive light and video show featuring festive tunes and nightly snow flurries around Atlantic Green. Rounding out the holiday lineup, Cirque du Soleil’s LUZIA brings a dreamlike vision of Mexico to life through acrobatics, music and striking visuals under the Big Top.

Friday, Nov. 14: Skate the Station

Atlantic Station will once again transform into a winter wonderland with the return of Skate the Station, metro Atlanta’s largest outdoor ice-skating rink. The seasonal attraction invites guests to lace up their skates and enjoy festive fun in the heart of Midtown from Nov. 14 through Jan. 19. The open-air rink offers skyline views, holiday décor and a family-friendly atmosphere that has become a favorite annual tradition. Saturday, Nov. 22: Light the Station

Atlantic Station ushers in the holiday season with its annual “Light the Station” celebration. Guests can kick off the festivities at the Candy Cane Lane-themed activity village, featuring family-friendly fun, festive performances and a special appearance by Buddy the Elf from Elf The Musical, arriving in Atlanta this December. The excitement continues at 7 p.m. with a Candy Land-themed parade complete with floats, stilt walkers and costumed characters, culminating in Santa Claus’s arrival aboard the Atlantic Station Express. The evening concludes as Atlantic Station’s spectacular 50-foot tree is lit for the very first time this season with dazzling lights, music and snow. This event is free and open to the public. Saturday, Nov. 22 – Thursday, Dec. 25: Celebration at the Station

Atlantic Station welcomes the return of its annual Celebration at the Station, an immersive holiday experience featuring a festive light and video show set to classic seasonal tunes. Guests can enjoy the spectacle – complete with snow flurries – nightly at the top of each hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
