Halcyon’s Cherry Street Brewpub invites the community to celebrate the summer season at its Tiki Street Pop-Up Bar. From Monday, June 5 through Monday, July 31, guests can soak up the tropical vibes while sipping on a cocktail and enjoying tasty bites, without the hassle of traveling to a tropical island.

The summer of fun begins on Friday, June 9 from 5 to 10 p.m. at Cherry Street’s Summer Kick Off Party marking the opening of the Tiki Street Pop-Up Bar. Dance the night away to a fantastic lineup of live music, delicious tiki cocktails, tropical beers, food specials and Blue Chair Bay rum samples. There will be entertainment for the little ones, including face painting from 5 to 8 p.m. and refreshing mocktails to keep the party going all night long. Live music entertainment returns on Saturday, July 29 for one final summer soiree. 

Cherry Street’s Tiki Street Pop-Up Bar is the perfect destination to unwind this summer after a long day or to gather with friends for a fun night out. The tropical menu features an assortment of cocktails and foods inspired by tiki classics.

Live! at the Battery – the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta – announces its events lineup for Summer 2023, plus ongoing happenings like Diva Drag Brunches and Silent Disco Saturdays. 

  • Live! Goes 90’s (Sat., June 3) – Live! at the Battery is going back in time to the ultimate era of flannel shirts, grunge music and tracksuits. Guests can come get jiggy and relive the nostalgia of their favorite decade as they are transported back to a time of neon lights, mixtapes and iconic pop culture references. The night will include old school hits from a 90’s-themed DJ, adult juice pouches, Instagrammable moments, giveaways and games like Twister and Connect 4 to keep the party going all night long.   • Live! ATL Brew Fest (Sun., Sept. 23)Live! at the Battery is teaming up again with Athens-based brewery Terrapin Beer Co. to host the third-annual Brew Fest on Saturday, September 23 at The Battery Atlanta. Bringing together beer enthusiasts and brewers, the event invites attendees to taste over 100 beers, listen to live music on The Plaza stage, shop items from local vendors, play games and more. Roswell Music Festival is a one-day, ticketed event. Six bands will be performing in historic downtown Roswell. Music will include original and tribute bands covering classic rock, soul, funk, country, and blues. Local businesses and vendors will be selling food, beverages, and their wares. Gate City Brewing will provide General Admission beer sales. Sponsorships are available. The event will be held rain or shine. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Gold Star Mentors.

ATLANTA RESTAURANTS BRING OUT THE OLÉ FOR CINCO DE MAYO

Authentic Dishes, Creative Cocktails and Live Entertainment Mark the Festive Holiday on May 5

Cinco de Mayo is a popular holiday celebrated on May 5 every year to commemorate the Mexican Army’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. In Atlanta, many restaurants and bars offer specials and celebrations to mark the occasion. From authentic Mexican cuisine to creative cocktails, there’s something for everyone. Whether looking to indulge in a delicious margarita or try some spicy salsa, Atlanta’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations are not to be missed.

For the most happening fiesta in Buckhead, guests can head to Chido & Padre’s. The lively eatery will open at 2 p.m. on May 5 and stay open late serving its menu of authentic Mexican dishes along with drink features. A DJ amps up the fun from 6-10 p.m. Make reservations online.

HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern at Halcyon in Alpharetta is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a party at its patio bar. Starting at 6:30 p.m. rain or shine, guests will enjoy festive dancing to the Latin seven-piece band “Catalina Sabrosa” and margaritas and taco specials. HOBNOB’s other locations—Brookhaven, Dunwoody, and Atlantic Station—also are celebrating the day with live entertainment and drink specials. Reservations can be made online.

Rreal Tacos—with locations in Midtown, West Midtown, Chamblee, and Sandy Springs—offers the authentic taste of Mexican street food along with a selection of more than 200 tequilas and over 100 mezcals. Guests can start the dining experience with seasoned elote, and for the main course choose from the variety of tacos topped with fresh meats or quesadillas created with ingredients sourced from Mexico. While the meal is being prepared, Rreal Tacos spices up the fiesta with a selection of handcrafted margaritas or other cocktails. Reservations can be made online.

For those who keep glasses raised, Tin Lizzy’s Cantina celebrates for five days with Cinco Days of Cinco. From May 3-7, all locations are offering $7 El Jimador margaritas and 32-ounce Dos Equis drafts for $7.  Guests can take the fiesta home with to-go orders placed online.

COBB BUBBLES AND BREWS 2023

Bubbles & Brews, a month-long celebration ofCobb County’s craft beverage makers, is back for its fourth year to shine a spotlight on local breweries, distilleries, and wineries.

During the month of March, enthusiasts can travel along the Cobb Ale Trail to sample unique craft beverages. A free ‘BrewPass,’ available online or at participating Hop Spots, will guide visitors to each location where they can collect stamps and win sweet prizes from Cobb Travel & Tourism.


Guests can earn double stamps in their BrewPass by attending Bubbles & Brews Night events where each Hop Spot will feature fun activities and themed giveaways. Visitors will also have the chance to vote online for their favorite best-sellers, unique brews, and various other categories.


New in 2023, dog-friendly locations will also have Bubbles & Chews bandanas for your fourlegged friends on Bubbles & Brews Nights. Participants can enter to win a curated dog gift box by posting a photo of their dog with swag and using the hashtag #BubblesAndChews. “The craft beverage industry in Cobb continues to thrive, with new locations opening each year,” said Holly Quinlan, President & CEO of Cobb Travel & Tourism. “Since beginning Bubbles & Brews in 2020, we have seen these small businesses adapt, change, grow, and make Cobb County a sweet spot for beverage enthusiasts. Get ready for a shucking good time as the original Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest returns to Midtown Atlanta for its 35th year on Saturday, February 25th, and Sunday, February 26th. Produced by Rival Entertainment, seafood lovers can indulge in heaping buckets of roasted oysters, chargrilled oysters on the half-shell with garlic and butter, Steamhouse’s legendary lobster bisque, fried oyster po’boys, ice-cold beer, cocktails, and much more.

Atlanta loves brunch, so we are putting together a festival to celebrate some of the best restaurants in the brunch game serving up tasting size portions of the brunch items they do best.  We will also feature the brunch beverages we all love – Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Brunch Punch, beer, wine and seltzer.  A full list of participating restaurants will be announced soon.  We will also have live music with Davis and the Love and DJ  Qtip. Brunch samples will be $4 each paid directly to each restaurant.

Atlantic Station has a variety of events planned throughout February that are sure to warm your heart. Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit as Atlantic Station continues to honor the Lunar New Year with a spectacular display of Lunar New Year decor and traditions along with a magnificent fire breathing dragon. Treat your taste buds to one of the many flavorful food and beverage festivals happening throughout the month in the Pinnacle Lot, such as the Atlanta Oyster Festival, the Atlanta Winter Beer Festival and the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival. Celebrate Black History Month with an outdoor movie series on Atlantic Green. The month may be short, but there’s plenty to do at Atlantic Station throughout February.

Lunar New Year

Visit Atlantic Green to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit and experience mesmerizing Lunar New Year decor. At the top of the hour nightly from 5 – 9 p.m., an impressive “fog” breathing 90-foot-long dragon with over 25,000 lights, known as the Chinese symbol of good fortune, will blow fog out in the plaza to surprise guests. Also happening at the top of the hour every night, over 450 beautifully decorated red lanterns will illuminate Atlantic Green for a glistening lantern show.
