2019 Great Southern Beer Fest Atlanta

About:  The South’s favorite craft beer festival returns to ATL on Saturday, April 27th! Join us at John Howell Park in Virginia–Highlands to celebrate all the creative, unpredictable, hop heavy and heady craft beers this side of the Mason-Dixon line. Great Southern Beer Fest combines amazing craft beer, country rock, and Southern food with a dash of soul. The best of the best Southern breweries will be onsite pouring samples of their favorite craft brews. General Admission tickets are $42 and include (1) Commemorative Full Size Mason Jar, 75+ craft beer tastings, and wristband access to the event. They’re are two sessions, one from 11 am to 2:30 pm, which will be the breakfast beer pairings session with breakfast beers and bites. Then, the second from 3:30 pm to 7 pm called the TrimTab and King of Pops Pairings session.

Duluth Spring Arts Festival 2019

About:  The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is thrilled to present the third annual Duluth Arts Festival on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  and Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The two-day festival  will be held in the fun, vibrant and culturally diverse City  of Duluth; recognized as one of the fastest growing communities in the North Atlanta region and home to the largest and most enthusiastic art buying communities.  Created for artists by artists, the festival will feature  more than 85 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists,  jewelers and more.  Festival goers will also have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations and enjoy gourmet food trucks with healthy  alternatives, live acoustic music, dance performances and much more. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages and dogs are welcome.

The music performance times and Campers’ Pre-Party details are now available for the debut of Epicenter, May 10, 11 and 12 at the newly created Rockingham Festival Grounds in Richmond County, NC. The new 3-day destination music experience will feature a massive lineup of top rock acts performing on five stages, including Foo Fighters, Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Judas Priest, Bring Me The Horizon, The Cult, 311, Evanescence, Bush, +LIVE+ and dozens more.

Festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents is proud to announce a collaboration with Metallica’s Blackened Whiskey and Enter Night Pilsner. Blackened, a super-premium American whiskey blend, crafted by the late Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and finished in the earth shattering music of Metallica, and Enter Night Pilsner, a collaboration with the rockstars of craft brewing Stone Brewing Company, will come together under one roof to offer guests a one-of-kind musical festival experience. The massive Boilermaker pop-up will feature a Blackened & Enter Night Boilermaker, as well as craft cocktails and ice-cold Enter Night Pilsner. The expansive Rockingham Festival Grounds promise nonstop entertainment, extensive camping options, and no curfew, so the entertainment will continue after the night’s headliners have played their last song on Friday and Saturday. The Rockingham Village Stage will be the premier spot for afterhours entertainment throughout the weekend, including an exclusive Campers’ Pre-Party on Thursday, May 9 featuring AC/DC tribute act Thunderstruck, Guns N’ Roses tribute Nightrain and local Charlotte hard rockers Killakoi.

The Rockingham Village Stage will also include the anticipated reunion of Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine from That Metal Show for two sets, Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, as well as the Hellzapoppin Circus SideShow appearing the entire weekend and also at the Campers’ Pre-Party.

In addition to performances from top music artists, and various onsite attractions, attendees will enjoy a variety of local and regional food and beverage offerings provided by DWP’s affiliate concessionaire, Southern Hospitality Concessions LLC. Fans 21+ can enjoy multiple specialty curated beverage experiences. Varietals from Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards (owned by Maynard James Keenan, co-founder of international recording acts Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer) will be available at the Caduceus Wine Garden. Experience abounds at the Heavy Tiki Bar (a tropical oasis filled with killer cocktails and shade). Fans can also enjoy a large variety of local and regional brews at the Epicenter Craft Beer Garden.

Additional Epicenter onsite experiences include: Monster Energy Experience, f.y.e. Fan Experience, The Music Experience, USMC (United States Marine Corps), Zippo Experience, Fxck Cancer / Dyin 2 Live Dreams Program, Take Me Home, and Jack Daniel’s Experience.

Camping at Epicenter will let patrons keep the rock n’ roll party going all through the weekend and will set this festival apart from other U.S. rock shows. Camping spots are connected to the festival grounds and include amenities like access to showers, portable restrooms, food and drink vendors, charging stations, information and medical services, and the Campers’ Pre-Party.

The official Epicenter mobile app is now available for download. Attendees can build their own schedules, learn more about the artists and personalities appearing at the festival and get the latest must-know information through push notifications. Download it through the Google Play and Apple stores.

Rockingham Festival Grounds are located at 2153 North U.S. Highway 1, Rockingham, NC, less than two hours from Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham, Columbia and Greensboro.

Sandy Springs Artsapalooza 2019

About: Spend quality time with friends and family on Easter weekend during the eighth annual Sandy  Springs Artsapalooza presented by on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21,  2019. The award-winning, two-day festival that features more  than 150 artisans  transforms the  beautiful tree-lined streets of Sandy Springs into an expansive outdoor art gallery.  On Easter Sunday, the Atlanta Foundation For Public Spaces is joining forces with Heritage Sandy Springs to host the largest Easter Egg Hunt in Sandy Springs with over 5,000 hidden Easter eggs kicking off at 2 p.m. Festival goers are also invited to bring their cameras and take pictures with the Easter Bunny from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to view  artist demonstrations, participate in  hands-on art activities and enjoy live acoustic performances, a children’s area, food trucks, beverages and more. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs  are welcome.
