Late-Night Gourmet Taqueria and Live Music Hub Now Offering Fun for Everyone

Rock ‘N’ Taco, Roswell’s favorite late-night gourmet taqueria, live music venue and incubator of local musical talent, is excited to splash into summer with a live music series. Rock ‘N’ Taco kicks off its summer music series this Friday, June 12 at 9:30pm with local favorite Aunt Betty. Rock ‘N’ roll lovers can also see featured artists like Carter Horne, Francisco Vidal and the Justin Borgman Band.

“Rock ‘N’ Taco has always been a launching pad for amazing homegrown talent that have gone on to compete on TV shows like ‘The Voice’ and ‘American Idol,’” says co-owner John Michael Brunetti. “We’re excited to bring music back to Roswell residents.” Guests also can catch local bands Denim Arcade, Dueling Pianos , 84 (a Van Halen tribute band) and more. Rock ‘N’ Taco showcases rare music memorabilia and boasts a state-of-the-art audio and video system that makes the restaurant one of Roswell’s best-sounding live music venues. The varied menu features authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex favorites with a distinct rock ‘n’ roll attitude, along with healthy salads and creative cocktails.

“Our large, open garage doors make room for plenty of patio seating and fresh air while guests enjoy the music, and we continue to follow all safety guidelines and maintain social distancing to keep our guests, staff and musicians safe,” says Brunetti.

When the music is not playing, guests can expect to see headline events like the UFC International Fight Week featured on Rock ‘N’ Taco’s abundance of high definition TVs.

THE 17TH ANNUAL OYSTER CRAWFISH FESTIVAL

Featuring a Full Day of Delicious Fun Including Live Music From The Dirty Guv’Nahs, Stop Light Observations and Little Stranger, Thousands of Pounds of Crawfish, Fresh Oysters, Cocktails and More!

Saturday, February 29, 2020 Beginning at 2 p.m.

For the past 17 years, thousands of music and food loving festival goers gather annually at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park to celebrate the Oyster Crawfish Festival. Offering a day of Mardi Gras inspired fun on Saturday, February 29, 2020, Park Tavern will once again serve up approximately ten thousand pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish that are flown in the night before along with live music from the fiercely soulful band, The Dirty Guv’Nahs, an acclaimed six-piece brotherhood from Knoxville, TN known for their electrifying rock and roll performances.  Athens, GA-based Stop Light Observations and the quirky, indie hip-hop group, Little Stranger, will get the party started and warm up the stage as guests sip on signature cocktails and cold brews from a souvenir cup and dive into platters boasting 1.5 pounds of piping hot and perfectly spiced boiled crawfish served with new potatoes, corn and sausage.  Additional festival food offerings include Bluepoint and Gulf freshly shucked oysters on the half shell, buckets of steamed oysters with drawn butter, and a fried station with fried oysters, shrimp, and chicken baskets.

The Oyster Crawfish Festival begins at 2 p.m.  While the event is an ages 21 and up event, children ages 20 and under may be accompanied by a parent.  Children 12 and under do not need to purchase a ticket while young adults ages 12 and over can purchase an admission ticket for $10.  General Admission tickets are available beginning at $30 and include entry to the event and all day entertainment.  VIP tickets are available for $60 and grants access to entertainment, private bars, upscale seating, a lounge area with fireplaces, and access to premium indoor restrooms.  The event is rain or shine.  To purchase tickets visit www.parktavern.com.

Rhythm & Brews 2019

About: Reynolds Lake Oconee and OPAS (Oconee Performing Arts Society) are excited to present the third annual Rhythm & Brews Festival. The festival will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 at Reynolds Lake Oconee’s historic Sandy Creek Barn. Headlining the 2019 festival are five world-renowned rock stars, including Scott Stapp of Creed, Jason Scheff of Chicago, Emmerson Hart of Tonic, Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon and Don Barnes of .38 Special. Each veteran musician will be accompanied by the Nashville-based band SIXWIRE. General admission is $150 and includes access to the craft beer and wine tasting, concert and shuttle service. Grant Park Summer Shade Festival 2019

About: The Grant Park Conservancy has revealed the live music lineup and schedule for the 17th annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, 2019. Earning a reputation as a must-attend event to see some of the hottest up-and-coming bands, local talent and notable favorites, festival goers are invited to watch two days of nonstop high-energy performances. Featuring a diverse lineup for all tastes, 2019 artists include Blair Crimmins, Stripped, Cicada Rhythm, Common Ground, Old Ceremony, Mafia do Samba, ASH, R.A.H and many more. Produced by and benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy, the 2019 Grant Park Summer Shade Festival is open to all ages and free to attend. In addition to the impressive music lineup, this year’s festival will also have an expansive artist market, a Kids Zone presented by Grant Park Parents Network, the annual Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K, a diverse selection of local food trucks, wine, frosty beers, craft cocktails and more.
