LIVE! AT THE BATTERY ANNOUNCES JANUARY, FEBRUARY, AND MARCH 2024 EVENTS LINEUP

Football Watch Parties, Live NFC Fight Night, Mardi Gras Live!, Big Game Bash, Shamrocks & Shenanigans,

 Live! at The Battery – the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta – announces its events lineup for January, February and March 2024, in addition to its ongoing happenings like Silent Disco Saturday and Throwdown Thursdays.

  • College Football National Championship Game Watch (Mon., Jan. 8, 5pm-midnight) – The final game of college football season is near! Live! at the Battery’s Sports & Social is the ultimate viewing destination to watch the most anticipated college football championship game. With 40+ televisions and a 32-foot LED screen, fans can watch every play, touchdown and tackle. Sports & Social will bring the fun game day vibes with half-time crowd games, giveaways, prizes and delicious food! Table reservations can be made here.
  • Silent Saturday: Silent Disco Party (Sat., Jan. 27, 9pm & Sat., March 30, 9pm-1am) – Silent Saturdays are back for 2024! Guests can put on some headphones, dance and sing all night long at Live! at The Battery’s monthly silent disco parties. There will be drink specials, two favorite local DJs spinning different music genres and plenty of great late night vibes. Tickets for January 27 are now available here. This event is 21+.
  • 90’s Divas Drag Brunch (Sun., Jan. 28, 11am-2pm) – Live! at the Battery is bringing back the 90’s with a divas drag show guests won’t forget! Guests can enjoy the show along with specialty cocktails and the option to add on a brunch buffet. This is a 21+ event, and tickets are available here. Doors open at 10am.
  • Mardi Gras Live! (Sat., Feb. 10, 6pm-midnight) – Live! at The Battery is gearing up for their annual Mardi Gras takeover! In partnership with Vizzy Hard Seltzer, Live! at the Battery will bring the French Quarter to Atlanta and invites guests to enjoy favorite Cajun dishes, a VIP low country boil, live music, fortune tellers, drink specials and hurricanes all night long! Tickets are now available here, and doors open at 5pm.
  • Big Game Bash (Sun., Feb. 11) – Live! at the Battery will host a BIG Game Bash watch party showing the biggest NFL football game of the year on their 32-foot LED TV screen! The venue will have a live DJ, games, giveaways and the best game day energy in town. Tickets are available here. Table reservations will be available here starting on January 8.
  • NFC #162 Fight Night (Fri., March 1, 7pm-1am) Live! at the Battery will host a National Fighting Championship (NFC) event this March. The adrenaline-filled night will feature live professional and amateur MMA, Muay Thai and Kickboxing fights taking place in a ring in the middle of Sports & Social. Attendees will have the chance to be a part of the non-stop action during 12+ Fights in the NFC cage at one of the most exciting and new environments for watching live fights, plus, fan-favorite drinks and an official after party next door at PBR. The event will be 18+ with certain areas being 21+. Tickets and tables are now available here, and doors open at 6pm.
  • Shamrocks & Shenanigans (Fri., March 16, Noon-1am) – Guests can enjoy Irish drinks, green beer and live entertainment to keep St. Patrick’s Day pure gold. Those looking for some basketball madness can also watch on their 32-foot LED TV screen! Tickets will be available here starting on January 5.

A one-of-a-kind place to catch sports, dine in style, sip cold beer and craft cocktails, play games and do a bit of bull riding and line dancing, Live! at The Battery plays host to some of Atlanta’s most fun food and drink events. Ongoing happenings include:

  • Throwdown Thursday welcomes guests to learn line dances from PBR Atlanta’s very own Buckle Bunnies every Thursday from 8pm-10pm, plus enjoy specials like $4 beers, $5 wines and $6 well cocktails.
  • Happy Hour takes place every Monday through Friday from 4pm-6pm with specials like $4 wings, $5 Signature Sweet Bay Fries and Truffle Mushroom Flatbread, and $6 Loaded Nachos and Giant Pretzels.

The Works is eager to welcome the long awaited spring weather with an exciting, family-friendly calendar of events throughout March. Celebrate the weekend with live music on Fridays and Saturdays at The Camp. Show your artsy side with fun arts and crafts at the Brella Art Truck provided by Brella Studio. Put your knowledge and axe-throwing skills to the test at American Axes’ Trivi-Axe. Sip on green beer at Chattahoochee Food Works’ second annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration, The Hungry Leprechaun. Enjoy comedy under the stars when Comedy at The Camp returns later this month. The weather is finally warming up, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy this month at The Works!

American Axes: Trivi-Axe

Thursday, March 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 8 p.m.

Only the smartest axe will win at Trivi-Axe! Bring your friends, your sharpest wit and your axe-cellent throwing skills for a night of trivia and axe throwing. American Red Cross Blood Drive

Cobb County’s favorite sports and entertainment destination offers events to welcome spring

Atlantans wanting to enjoy the warmer weather this month are in luck. The Battery Atlanta has lined up a March schedule packed with fun events for everyone to enjoy. From Jazz brunches at C. Ellet’s to the return of Yoga series, the destination welcomes guests to start the season off on the right foot. All month long, tenants are preparing for the arrival of spring with memorable events to bring friends and families together – from St. Patrick’s Day festivities to live music at the Coca-Cola Roxy!

Outdoor Activities:


Wellness Series: Yoga by Kaiser Permanente
Every Monday, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The Yoga Series has officially kicked off! Start the week off stress-free at an outdoor yoga class presented by Kaiser Permanente. As part of the Wellness Series at The Battery Atlanta, this free event is open to all ages to relax and unwind on the Plaza Green. Participants are required to bring a mat and encouraged to bring water. Visitors can register here!

Cornhole ATL
Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning March 22

A tailgate favorite is now a league of its own! Spectators are encouraged to watch the action and cheer on league participants as they play games leading up to the spring season’s final tournament. League winners will receive a championship trophy and other prizes. Pre-Registration for The Battery Atlanta’s Spring Cornhole Tournament closes March 14.

SECOND SELF BEER CO MARCH EVENTS

Thurs., Mar. 18, 6pm – The Orion Principle – Tasting at Second Self Beer Company

Taking inspiration from the three stars in Orion’s Belt, The Tzedakah Project designed socially distant events targeting the body, mind and spirit. Second Self Beer Co. has partnered with the company to offer a complimentary beer tasting this Thursday that teaches guests all about the brewing process. The class includes three to four samples of beer and attendees must be 21+. Free registration is required ahead of time here.

Fri., March 19 – Sat., March 20 – Girl Scout Cookie Pairing

Second Self’s annual Girl Scout Cookie Pairing is coming back this month! This year, the pairings are limited and will only be available for two days, so pre-orders ($20) are highly encouraged. All pick-up orders will receive four different Girl Scout Cookies perfectly paired with four different Second Self beers.

Sun., Mar. 21 1-5pm – Bien Vegano Presents – International Market

My Abuelas Food and VeganX are hosting Bien Vegano International Market at Second Self Beer Co.! This FREE Pure Barre class meets at the Plaza Green for a weekly total body workout. Class sizes will be limited and pre-registration is required. Interested attendees can register on Eventbrite, accept the event participant waiver and be prepared to scan ticket(s) upon arrival. Drop-ins will only be accepted if space restrictions allow and online registration is completed.

CITY WINERY ATLANTA MARCH EVENTS 2020 – CLOSED UFN

Shamrockin’ Patio Party, Women in Wine, Books & Booze, City Wine Explorer, and More

City Winery, the restaurant, urban winery, private event space, and intimate music venue, has released its March lineup of culinary and beverage events at the popular Atlanta location in Ponce City Market. Atlantans and visitors alike can take advantage of an array of mouthwatering opportunities including plenty of wine sampling opportunities to enjoy on the beginning days of spring.
On Sunday, March 8th, Atlanta can visit City Winery for Atlanta Science Festival’s Science of Wine. Winemaker James Brim will lead a private, seated wine class. After a brief introduction to wine tasting, guests will learn learn about vineyard biology and the science behind the winemaking process. The class will finish with a dessert wine followed by an interactive Q&A session.

Starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are sold out. 
City Winery Celebrates Women in Wine on Sunday, March 8th for International Women’s Day with a party on the patio featuring women-owned wineries and winemakers, as well as women working in the business of wine. There will be over fifteen wines to sample, as well as signature cocktails. Women in Wine will be hosted by Bianca Anderson, Wine Captain at City Winery and one of the founders of The Urban Wine Collective.

Starts at 3 p.m. Tickets are $30 plus applicable fees.
American Airlines First Class International Pairing Series takes place at City Winery on Wednesday, March 11th. American offers nonstop daily service to Milan, Venice, and Rome, all of which brings guests closer to the great wines and foods of Italy. There are a plethora of Italian varietals and styles that have rich histories to navigate. Chef Vawanda Richardson will create a four-course menu with wines from the throughout the region.

Starts at 7 p.m. Tickets $65 plus applicable fees. 

On Thursday, March 12th, City Winery hosts City Winery Explorer, Tuscany & Central Italy. Several wines and regions will be explored, including villages along the Tuscan Coast, Montepulciano, and Umbria. Guests will enjoy over twelve wines from various regions. Chef Vawanda Richardson will prepared light fare served buffet-style as well as a regional selection of meats and cheeses.

Starts 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 plus applicable fees.

On Tuesday, March 17th, Ponce City Market’s Posman Books and City Winery team up to host Books & Booze. This month’s book discussion is about The Water Cure by Sophie Mackintosh.
Starts at 7 p.m. RSVP $10 plus applicable fees. 

Credited with beginning the Farm to Table Movement and as one of the initial proponents of the Slow Food Movement, Alice Waters has had an undeniable influence on the American culinary scene. On Saturday, March 21st, City Winery presents their tribute, A Celebration of Culinary Artisans featuring Alice Waters’ “Recipes from Chef Panisse”.

City Winery Scout Cookies & Wine Pairing, a fun and whimsical pairing of wine and cookies, takes place on Thursday, March 26th.
