Grant Park Summer Shade Festival 2019

About: The Grant Park Conservancy has revealed the live music lineup and schedule for the 17th annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, 2019. Earning a reputation as a must-attend event to see some of the hottest up-and-coming bands, local talent and notable favorites, festival goers are invited to watch two days of nonstop high-energy performances. Featuring a diverse lineup for all tastes, 2019 artists include Blair Crimmins, Stripped, Cicada Rhythm, Common Ground, Old Ceremony, Mafia do Samba, ASH, R.A.H and many more. Produced by and benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy, the 2019 Grant Park Summer Shade Festival is open to all ages and free to attend. In addition to the impressive music lineup, this year’s festival will also have an expansive artist market, a Kids Zone presented by Grant Park Parents Network, the annual Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K, a diverse selection of local food trucks, wine, frosty beers, craft cocktails and more. Additionally, tickets are now available for the exclusive VIP Lounge. Attendees are invited to relax in a private tent and enjoy complimentary food from a local caterer, premium wines, Monday Night Brewing craft beer, and the Signature Summer Shade Cocktail served in a souvenir cup. Guests are also invited to enjoy private, air-conditioned restrooms, misting stations, lounge seating. Taproom Concert Series July 2019

About: The Taproom Concert Series is a craft brewery pop-up held in partnership with Heritage Sandy Springs’ Outdoor Concert Series – “Concerts by the Springs”. We’re teaming up with a different craft brewery each month to bring their taproom tasting experience TO the concert. Tickets range from $10-$18. They include, Early admission (4 pm), 12 3 oz craft beer samples, tasting glass, pre-concert house DJ. Concert starts at 7:00pm, food available for purchase from local Food Trucks. The breweries for July are Birds Fly South, Carolina Bauernhaus, Catawba, Fonta Flora, Highland Brewing, Palmetto Brewing, Quest Brewing, Thomas Creek, TrimTab Brewing, Westbrook & Wild Leap, while the band is The Departure.

Summer Sunsets with Yacht Rock Schooner June 2019

About: Yacht Rock Schooner returns to Park Tavern’s Summer Sunsets this Friday. Yacht Rock Schooner will once again rock the boat at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park’s Summer Sunsets. Revelers are invited sway along to the classic sounds of Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald and more, while enjoying Park Tavern’s signature favorites such as burgers, tacos, fresh sushi flown in from Hawaii, handcrafted cocktails, frosty beers, a wide variety of wines and much more. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music will begin at 8 p.m. and continue through 11 p.m. For ages 21 and up, General Admission tickets are available starting at $15 and will increase to $20 at the door. For a guaranteed VIP table with a server, VIP tickets are available starting at $150 for a 6 person VIP table and $200 for an 8 person VIP table. Partygoers can also look forward to smooth sailing all summer long, because Yacht Rock Schooner will return to Park Tavern’s Summer Sunsets on July 26th, August 30th and September 27th. Park Tavern Welcomes Electric Avenue June 2019

About: On Friday, June 21, 2019, partygoers searching for a radical night are invited to dust off their leg warmers, neon colors and spandex for the series kick off of Electric Avenue “The 80’s MTV Experience” at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park. Beginning at 7 p.m., perms and mullets alike can bust a move to their favorite 80’s tunes featuring iconic sounds of vintage synthesizers and drum machines. Guests can also enjoy Park Tavern’s signature favorites such as burgers, tacos, fresh sushi flown in from Hawaii, handcrafted cocktails, frosty beers, a wide variety of wines and much more. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music will begin at 8 p.m. and continue through 11 p.m. For ages 21 and up, General Admission tickets include entry to the event, standing room and bar seating only on a first-come, first-served basis and are available starting at $20. General Admission tickets will increase to $25 at the door. For a guaranteed VIP table, VIP tickets are available starting at $100 for a 4 person VIP table, $180 for a 6 person VIP table and $220 for an 8 person VIP table. Partygoers can also look forward to rocking out to the favorite 80s jams all summer long, because Park Tavern’s Electric Avenue – The 80’s MTV Experience will also be held on July 19th, August 23rd and September 20th.
