Eighth Annual Spring Festival on Ponce

The eighth annual  Spring Festival on Ponce will be held Saturday, April 6 and Sunday,  April 7, 2019 in Atlanta’s historic Olmsted Linear Park. The sister festival to  the  Fall Festival on Ponce (October 12 and 13, 2019), the Spring Festival on  Ponce will transform the park, which was carefully restored by the Olmsted  Linear Park  Alliance, into an outdoor art gallery to the backdrop of budding spring foliage.  The two-day event will feature over 125 displays of  local and regional fine art and crafts, utilizing the gorgeous landscape  designed by one of America’s most celebrated landscape architects, Fredrick  Olmsted, Sr. In addition to the abundance  of  unique art, there will be  a children’s area, local gourmet food trucks, beverages and a stage for acoustic musical performances. Eighth Annual  Sandy Springs Artsapalooza  

The eighth annual Sandy  Springs Artsapalooza presented by The Atlanta Foundation For Public Spaces  returns on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21,  2019. Featuring more  than 150 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft persons, glass blowers, jewelers and more, the festival will  transform the  beautiful tree-lined streets of Sandy Springs into an expansive outdoor art gallery. Festival goers have the opportunity to view  artist demonstrations, participate in  hands-on art activities  and enjoy live acoustic performances. The award-winning, two-day festival  will also have a children’s area, gourmet food trucks with healthy  alternatives  and beverages. Third Annual Duluth  Spring Arts Festival  

The  Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is thrilled to present the third annual Duluth Spring Arts Festival on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  and  Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The two-day festival will be held in the fun, vibrant and culturally diverse City  of Duluth; recognized as one of the  fastest growing communities in the North  Atlanta region and home to the largest and most enthusiastic art buying  communities.  Created for artists by artists, the festival will feature  more than 85 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists,  jewelers and more.  Festival goers will  also have  the opportunity to view artist demonstrations and enjoy gourmet food trucks  with healthy alternatives, live acoustic music, dance performances and much  more. Second Annual Roswell Spring  Arts and Crafts Festival 

The  second annual Roswell Spring Arts and Crafts Festival will be held on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5, 2019 in the historic Roswell Town Square. Known for its preservation of history, celebration of the  arts and cultivation of the entrepreneurial spirit, Roswell is recognized as a family-friendly and enthusiastic art buying  community.  An ideal locale for a free outdoor festival that welcomes all ages and furry friends, the two-day juried event features approximately 100 painters, photographers, sculptors,  metalworkers, glass blowers, jewelers and more. Eleventh Annual  Chastain Park Spring Arts & Crafts Festival  

The  eleventh annual Chastain Park Spring Arts Festival will return to beautiful Chastain  Park along  Park Drive in Buckhead on Mother’s Day weekend on Saturday, May 11 and  Sunday  May 12, 2019.  Produced by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the  award-winning, two-day festival features more than 185 painters,  photographers,  sculptors,  leather and metal craft artisans, glass blowers , jewelers and more.  Event goers are also invited  to view artist demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment, and participate  in hands-on activities.  The festival will also have a children’s area, food trucks, beverages and a small stage for live acoustic music performances.  The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome. Atlanta, Georgia  – As we enter Chapter Six of the aquatic fairytale that has become such a big part of the festival season for fans across the country, the time has come to reveal the theme for Imagine 2019. Embarking on a new tale that leads to the deepest depths of the ocean and sunken treasures to be found, fans are invited to journey with the Imagine family to find “What Lies Deep at the Bottom of the Ocean.”  Discover an underwater city, once lost, but now found as Imagine transforms the Atlanta Motor Speedway into an aquatic mecca September 20-22, 2019.

In celebration of this latest announcement from Imagine a special theme reveal video has been created, utilizing the Seven Lions track, “Ocean”. As fans are transported through depths of the deep blue sea and mysteries that lie beneath, one secret is revealed- Seven Lions will be the first announced headliner of Imagine 2019.  Known for its monstrous lineups, Seven Lions is just the first of many to be announced over the course of the Spring as Imagine prepares to present its biggest lineup yet. “Every year Imagine Festival has had an aquatic theme, but this year we wanted to dive deeper and tell a new story.” Says organizers Glenn & Madeleine Goodhand. ” The theme was inspired by one of this year’s headliners, Seven Lions, after listening to his track “Ocean”. With the lyrics “So now I hide my heart It’s buried somewhere deep at the bottom of the ocean” we were inspired to think about what lies deep at the bottom of the ocean and the world of treasures that can be found there.”

Epicenter Festival — a new 3-day destination music experience from premier independent U.S. music festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents — brings a massive music lineup to its 2019 debut, with over 65 music artists performing on four stages, led by Foo Fighters, Tool and Korn. The inaugural festival takes place in the heart of the Mid-Atlantic region, at the newly created Rockingham Festival Grounds in Richmond County, North Carolina on Friday, May 10, Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12, 2019.

Epicenter will also feature sets from Rob Zombie, Judas Priest, Bring Me The Horizon, The Cult, 311, Evanescence, Bush, +Live+ and dozens more. The expansive Rockingham Festival Grounds, being developed in coordination with Rockingham Dragway, The Rock (Rockingham Speedway), and other local land owners, promise nonstop entertainment, extensive camping options, and no curfew.

In addition to performances from top music artists, and various onsite attractions, attendees will enjoy a variety of local and regional food and beverage offerings provided by DWP’s affiliate concessionaire, Southern Hospitality Concessions LLC.

Fans 21+ can enjoy multiple specialty curated beverage experiences. Varietals from Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards (owned by Maynard James Keenan, co-founder of international recording acts Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer) will be available at the Caduceus Wine Garden. Experience abounds at the Heavy Tiki Bar (a tropical oasis filled with killer cocktails and shade). Fans can also enjoy a large variety of local and regional brews at the Epicenter Craft Beer Garden.

Camping at Epicenter will let patrons keep the rock n’ roll party going all through the weekend and will set this festival apart from other U.S. rock shows. Camping spots are connected to the festival grounds and include perks like access to showers, portable restrooms, food and drink vendors, charging stations, information and medical services, as well as a Thursday night pre-show party. Campers will also have late night access to Rockingham Village, an impressive promenade featuring food, drinks, merch shopping, entertainment, art and activities until 2:00 AM daily. Rockingham Village will be conveniently located immediately in front of the venue, adjacent to the North Premium campgrounds. Camping options will include immersive, Premium Spaces on the North Side of the site as well as free options in the South Side campgrounds.

Rockingham Village at Epicenter will be open for extended hours to allow fans to eat, drink, shop and see performing artists before and after the main event. Featured vendors will include festival merchandise, artist merchandise, lockers for rent, lifestyle shopping booths, a full General Store, coffee shop, craft beer at Headbangers Beer Bar, Caduceus wine bar, breakfast vendors for campers, as well as late night food served after the main venue closes. The Village will also have a stage featuring cover bands and Hellzapoppin Circus SideShow performances throughout the weekend.

Festival producer Danny Wimmer notes, “The creation of the ‘Epicenter of rock n’ roll’ in the heart of North Carolina gives us the ability to expand on the festival experience with enhanced camping amenities, nighttime entertainment with no curfew, and expanded food and beverage offerings, all highlighted by a massive music lineup covering the spectrum of rock, metal and alternative rock music.”

Danny Hayes, CEO of Danny Wimmer Presents, explains the development of the Rockingham Festival Grounds: “We have a long-term arrangement with all of the property owners: The Rock (Rockingham Speedway), Richmond County, Rockingham Dragway and other local land owners. We’re working together to define the long-term vision for the festival area. For 2019, the primary festival grounds will be in a grassy area connected to the Rockingham Dragway. The area across the street surrounding The Rock (Speedway) will be utilized for patron parking and camping.”
