As the leaves turn and the weather cools, Puttshack Atlanta is turning up the fun! Running through November 18th, mini-golf lovers can take advantage of the “Free for Fall” promotion—buy one game and get your second game free, Monday through Thursday, with promo code “FREEFORFALL.” With four action-packed, tech-infused courses, players can let Puttshack’s game-tracking technology handle the score while they focus on maximizing the fun.

Starting October 2nd and running through October 31st, Puttshack is celebrating Oktoberfest with limited-time menu offerings. Indulge in the new Oktoberfest Burger—a juicy brisket, chuck, and short rib patty topped with pecan wood bacon, Swiss cheese, sweet grilled onions, wholegrain mustard, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted pretzel bun, served with fries and a side of Samuel Adams Oktoberfest beer cheese sauce. For a sweet treat, try the Bavarian Donuts—cinnamon-sugar beignets served with a luscious vanilla Bavarian cream. Pair any meal with a cold Sam Adams Oktoberfest beer or explore Puttshack’s updated lineup of signature cocktails, like the zesty Puttshack Paloma or the alcohol-free N/A Spritz.

The fall fun continues with Puttshack’s new Happy Hour menu, launching on October 2nd. Available Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., enjoy bites like Southwest Chicken Quesadillas, Loaded Tots drizzled with jalapeño and poblano cheese sauce, or the spicy and bold Nashville Hot Bao Buns—all for just $6 each. Puttshack is also rolling out new menu additions across its regular offerings. THE WALDORF ASTORIA ATLANTA BUCKHEAD TO HOST OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION

Luxury Buckhead Hotel Presents “Prost in the Garden: Waldorf Astoria Oktoberfest” featuring Three Days of Live Entertainment and German-inspired Festivities and Fare 

This October, The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead will transport Atlantans to Munich during a three-day-long Oktoberfest celebration, brimming with German cuisine, live music and themed activities for guests. On October 11, 12, and 13 from 4:00-8:00 p.m., the award-winning hotel will transform its enchanting, private outdoor space into a tent-covered biergarten fit for the Prost in the Garden: Waldorf Astoria Oktoberfest affair. 

Guests can dance to the sounds of local German bands while sipping on specialty radlers with weisse beer and peach nectar, and, in true Oktoberfest fashion, plenty of ale. Led by newly-appointed Executive Chef Bermyson Dorvil, the hotel’s culinary team will present attendees with German cuisine curated for this celebration, including Smoked Bratwurst Sausage with pickled sauerkraut and dill paprika aioli; Potato Pancake complemented by candied bacon, chive and beer cheese; Salted Pretzels with spinach and artichoke and dijon aioli; and Apple Streusel topped with bourbon ice cream. 

Festivities include Oktoberfest Trivia and a raffle where winners can receive grand prizes like a 1-night hotel stay or a 50-minute massage at the renowned Waldorf Astoria Spa. Guests are invited to wear their favorite trachten (traditional German clothing and accessories), like dirndl dresses and lederhosen, immersing themselves in the traditions of Oktoberfest. 

Tickets to Prost in the Garden: Waldorf Astoria Oktoberfest cost $75++ per person, including admission, themed activations, Oktoberfest-inspired fare and one beverage ticket. Guests can purchase tickets via Tock, and a cash bar will be available additionally.

Summer Roadshow Dinner Series Makes Final Stop of Season with German Food & Wine Pairing

The Wurst Beer Hallis collaborating with Poncey-Highland wine and spirits shop Elemental Spirits Co. Thursday, Sept. 28 for the final #HungryandCurious Summer Roadshow dinner of the season.

This special Oktoberfest dinner will be held on the restaurant’s communal outdoor patio, where guests can mingle under twinkling lights and sample three courses featuring platters of sausages, Patak bacon, pork shank, sauerkraut, spaetzle, pretzels, and more alongside four carefully curated German wine pairings. 

Some of the featured wines include Stein Blauschiefer Riesling Trocken and Ziereisen Blauer Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir).

Tickets are $95/person and include gratuity and all food and wine pairings.

CELEBRATE OKTOBERFEST AT RED’S BEER GARDEN

 Brews, bratwursts and lederhosen; it’s that time of the year! From Friday, September 30th to Sunday, October 2nd, Red’s Beer Garden will be filling steins and stomachs in honor of Oktoberfest. Plenty of Märzens will be available in Red’s self-serve coolers along with Oktoberfest Märzens on draft from Ayinger Brewery and Round Trip Brewery Company. In addition to the full menu of hot dogs, sandwiches, and shareables, the three-day celebration will feature a must-try special, Fripper’s Chedderwurst sausages with spicy mustard and pretzel bites with beer cheese. For revelers ready to party, live polka on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Das Boot Beer Chug at 6 p.m. in the expansive, dog-friendly beer garden will be the place to be. Nine contestants brave enough to accept the Das Boot Beer Chug challenge will compete to beat Ed Sumpter, co-owner of Red’s and self-proclaimed boot chugging legend. For ages 21 and up, the $15 entry fee will include a liter boot for contestants to take home and a liter of Round Trip’s Oktoberfest. The first place winner will earn bragging rights and receive a $100 gift card to Round Trip Brewing. Enjoy German beer, hearty fare, games and live entertainment at Grant Park’s favorite brewery

Dust off your dirndl or lederhosen, and head to Eventide Brewing for Atlanta’s most popular Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, October 1! 

Grant Park’s favorite neighborhood brewery will have six varieties of German beer on draft, including its Dammerung pilsner and Citrus Grove hefeweizen. The celebration will also see the return of Eventide’s popular Red Headed Haley, an amber ale.   

In addition to delicious German beer, there will be plenty of authentic, mouthwatering fare, including savory meat pies from Coffyn Pyes and charcoal-grilled hot dogs and German brats from Hot Dog Pete’s.  

The day’s festivities will include a beer stein holding competition, where the champion will win $100 bar cash, as well as a best lederhosen and dirndl contest. Additionally, attendees will enjoy games such as a pretzel toss, balloon bust and more. 

Finally, there will be live music throughout the day as well as a DJ to cap off the festivities. 

Eventide Brewing’s Oktoberfest is a ticketed event with three available options, including a limited number of VIP-level tickets that come with an Eventide beer stein, unlimited draft beer and a commemorative Eventide t-shirt.

OKTOBERFEST AT RED’S BEER GARDEN

Be on Your Wurst Behavior at Red’s Beer Garden’s Oktoberfest

September 21 – October 3

Prost! It’s that time of year again. Between September 21st and October 3rd, Red’s Beer Garden is hosting two weeks of food and craft beer specials in honor of Oktoberfest.  Get into the fall feeling by pairing their limited-edition Oktoberfest hash and German potato salad with Märzen craft brews from Ayinger Brewery, Halfway Crooks Beer, Bold Monk, Arches Brewing, Jack’s Abby, Printer’s Ale Manufacturing Co., and Dry Country Brewing Co.  All the Oktoberfest offerings will be available in Red’s expansive grab-and-go coolers or on draft.  Red’s will also be hosting a Märzen Beer Tasting and Class on Friday, September 24th that’s only $15 per person.  The following Friday, October 1st, an Oktoberfest-themed, adult spelling bee and Line Creek Brewing Co. tap takeover will commence at 7 p.m. Registration is $10 and includes a Line Creek pint glass. The winner will receive a Line Creek bag o’ swag, beer tickets for the brewery, and bragging rights. Masks are required indoors or when not eating and/or drinking at a table.
