THE BATTERY ATLANTA ANNOUNCES SEPTEMBER EVENTS

Fall Festivities and Seasonal Fun Slated for The Battery Atlanta this September


Atlanta’s prime entertainment destination hosting 5K races, Girls Night Out, an assortment of live shows and much more!

The Battery Atlanta is ushering in the fall season with a series of engaging activities. Guests will enjoy the autumn weather with Yoga by Kaiser Permanente and shop farm fresh local produce at the Farmers Market. There is a full lineup of performers at Coca Cola Roxy, including Danna Paola and Daniel Caesar. Park Bench postgame events keep visitors entertained all month long with DJs, Karaoke and special performances. The Battery Atlanta will also welcome participants for RaceTrac’s Run for Research 5K and the St. Jude Walk/Run 5K to support a cause. Additionally, every Thursday, attendees can indulge in a Girls Night Out at Blue Moon Beer Garden, presented by Live! at The Battery Atlanta.

Outdoor Activities:


Wellness Series: Yoga by Kaiser Permanente
Monday, Sept. 11 and 25 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the Plaza Green
Guests will stress less and stretch more at the outdoor yoga classes presented by Kaiser Permanente. As part of the Wellness Series at The Battery Atlanta, this free event is open to all ages to help release tension and relax. Participants are required to bring a mat and encouraged to bring water. Farmers Market
Sunday, Sept. 17 and 24 from 1-4 p.m. on the Plaza Green
The Battery Atlanta Farmers Market has the locally made must-haves for Atlantans! A variety of local vendors will be in attendance selling wellness products, prepared foods, artisanal bread and more. The Bark Market is a special section for four-legged friends.

The Battery Atlanta Walking Trail presented by Wellstar
A brisk walk curbs cravings reduces stress and offers a healthy way to catch up with friends and family! Adults and kids are encouraged to get out and get active on the 1.5-mile loop circling the campus.

Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine

Local experts, community advocates and breast cancer survivors will come together for a special gathering in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Featuring Jonesboro High School Majestic Marching Cardinals and drum corps rival, Redan High School “Sudden Impact” Drumline, to “Beat the Drum” for breast cancer prevention, all are invited to enjoy the music and raise your voice to support this lifesaving message.

RaceTrac’s Run for Research 5K
Saturday, Sept. 16, 6:30-9:30 a.m.
RaceTrac hosts families and friends of all fitness levels for a 5K to benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation in support of Parkinson’s research. The event includes complimentary food, entertainment and the chance to win prizes. HALCYON WELCOMES FALL WITH A FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENTS LINEUP

Forsyth County’s mixed-use village invites the community to play, shop, dine and experience what’s new

Cooler temperatures will be here soon and Halcyon has planned an exciting September events lineup to celebrate! Kick off the month dancing under the stars at Groovin’ on the Green or savor in spicy cuisine paired with award-winning craft beers at Cherry Street Brewpub’s Pepperfest. Families can bring their little ones to partake in the engaging and educational Halcyon Kids Club sessions held weekly. As International Doodle Day approaches, get ready for Halcyon’s biggest PAW-ty of the year. Finally, conclude the month with the highly anticipated annual Oktoberfest festivities.

Saturday, September 2 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

In celebration of International Doodle Dog Day, Halcyon invites the community, doodles and other furry friends for the biggest PAW-ty of the year! Guests can check in at the Halcyon tent on the Village Green to pick up free dog swag and the schedule of entertaining, dog-friendly events, including a Pooch Parade with prizes from the Unexpected Pooch at Halcyon, free pup cups at Kilwins, dog training demo by Elite Dog Training of Northeast Atlanta, free dog-friendly charcuteries and a meet-and-greet with adoptable pups from FurKids Animal and Rescue Shelter. Farm Animal Yoga

Saturday, September 23 at 9 and 10 a.m. 

Mooove on over to Halcyon for Farm Animal Yoga, featuring live animals from North Georgia Wildlife Park! Treat your mind and body to a relaxing session of yoga appropriate for all skill levels, accompanied by adorable furry friends. Participants must bring their own yoga mat and are welcome to pause and take photos with the animals during the session. Oktoberfest

Saturday, September 30 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Throw on your dirndls and your lederhosen and join Halcyon for the annual Oktoberfest celebration, presented by Mercedes-Benz Experience Center by RBM of Alpharetta! The day will begin with a Concours d’Elegance Classic Mercedes Car Show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by traditional Oktoberfest festivities featuring The Wurstbrats, a live eight-piece German Polka band, free pretzel necklace-making station, yard games and new this year, a keg rolling contest. Sit picnic style on Village Green treating your taste buds to hot pretzels, brats, other German delicacies, beer, beer and more beer. This event is free and open to the public. Groovin’ on the Green

Preschoolers are invited to play and make new friends each week at the free Halcyon Kids Club! The little ones can engage in a rotating menu of activities ranging from arts and crafts, dance, animal encounters, storytime, puppet shows, music and so much more. Themes and activities vary weekly and will be announced on Halcyon’s Facebook page and Instagram stories. A parent or guardian is required to stay with each child during the duration of the event. Live music, exclusive dining deals and outdoor events happening at Cobb County’s fan-favorite destination

The Battery Atlanta welcomes families and friends to discover another month of action-packed fun at Cobb County’s premier live-work-play campus. This September, guests can enjoy Free Pizza Monday at CRU Food & Wine Bar and Free Kid’s Meals at Goldberg’s Fine Foods on Tuesdays. For a late-night adventure, visitors will be able to dance the night away with festive, live music and a selective menu at El Super Pan’s Noche Tropical on Saturday nights. The Coca Cola Roxy will also be buzzing all month long with live performances, including eight opportunities to see Emmy-award winning comedian, John Mulaney.

Viva Tequila Festival
Sept. 25 from 12-9 p.m.
Sip and savor over 25 hand-crafted Mexican tequilas at the one-of-a-kind Viva Tequila Festival hosted by The Battery Atlanta. Live, work and play hub offers an open, walkable layout to safely reconnect with friends and family

The Battery Atlanta is the one-stop spot to work hard and play harder! The Cobb County lifestyle destination’s chef-driven restaurants bring together friends, families and co-workers with daily happy hour specials and live entertainment on patio spaces! The community can also access The Battery Atlanta Walking Trail for a midday break in the fresh air or meet up weekly for a rejuvenating yoga class.

Visitors can keep #FortheA gameday energy alive with Baseball Watch Parties at Live! at the Battery Atlanta. Fans are encouraged to bring lawns chairs or blankets to The Plaza Green – the green space in front of the Omni Hotel – to watch the Atlanta Braves take on visiting teams on the jumbo screen. To-go drinks and take-out meals are available from participating restaurants located along Battery Avenue and Battery Walk.

Farmers Market presented by United Healthcare
Sunday, Sept. 13 and Sept. 20 from 1-4 p.m.
