Forsyth County’s mixed-use village invites the community to play, shop, dine and experience what’s new
Cooler temperatures will be here soon and Halcyon has planned an exciting September events lineup to celebrate! Kick off the month dancing under the stars at Groovin’ on the Green or savor in spicy cuisine paired with award-winning craft beers at Cherry Street Brewpub’s Pepperfest. Families can bring their little ones to partake in the engaging and educational Halcyon Kids Club sessions held weekly. As International Doodle Day approaches, get ready for Halcyon’s biggest PAW-ty of the year. Finally, conclude the month with the highly anticipated annual Oktoberfest festivities.

Cars and Coffee Hosted by Mercedes-Benz Club of America
Saturday, September 2 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Join the Mercedes-Benz Experience by RBM of Alpharetta and Fuel Coffee for a beautiful morning sipping on specialty coffee drinks, viewing Mercedes-Benz vehicles from a variety of years in the private lot next to Fuel and mingling with friends and other members of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. Mercedes-Benz Experience by RBM of Alpharetta will be offering special discounts off merchandise for all Mercedes-Benz Club of America members. This event is open to all Mercedes-Benz owners. Cherry Street Brewpub Pepperfest
Saturday, September 9 from 1 – 6 p.m.
Spice up your Saturday at Cherry Street Brewpub’s inaugural Pepperfest, featuring a unique blend of craft beers, culinary arts and horticulture, sponsored by Troncalli Subaru! Guests will be treated to an incredible lineup of top tier breweries, including Cherry Street Brewpub, New Realm Brewing Company, Monday Night Brewing, Bold Monk Brewing Co. and many more. Indulge in a variety of spicy foods that perfectly complement the award-winning craft brews with a live music backdrop. Participating in the delightful festival are local culinary, farm and art vendors who will share their passions. Plus, a pepper plant swap to take home and grow your own. Yappy Hour
Thursday, September 14 from 5 – 7:30 p.m.
Bring your furry friend and join Halcyon on Village Green for Yappy Hour on Thursdays of each month! Enjoy delicious treats, doggy booze and adorable, adoptable pups from Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters. For more information, visit the event page.
Mexican Independence Day at CT Cantina
Saturday, September 16 from 3 – 11 p.m.
Join CT Cantina & Taqueria for Mexican Independence Day! The annual event is held in honor of Mexican Independence Day, the day the country celebrates its declaration of independence from Spain in 1810. Enjoy an evening of exciting festivities and entertainment, including stilt walkers, energetic tunes spun by a DJ, a talented Latin dance performance, face painting for the kids and exciting prizes and giveaways. International Doodle Dog Day
Sunday, September 24 from 1 – 4 p.m.
In celebration of International Doodle Dog Day, Halcyon invites the community, doodles and other furry friends for the biggest PAW-ty of the year! Guests can check in at the Halcyon tent on the Village Green to pick up free dog swag and the schedule of entertaining, dog-friendly events, including a Pooch Parade with prizes from the Unexpected Pooch at Halcyon, free pup cups at Kilwins, dog training demo by Elite Dog Training of Northeast Atlanta, free dog-friendly charcuteries and a meet-and-greet with adoptable pups from FurKids Animal and Rescue Shelter. Farm Animal Yoga
Saturday, September 23 at 9 and 10 a.m.
Mooove on over to Halcyon for Farm Animal Yoga, featuring live animals from North Georgia Wildlife Park! Treat your mind and body to a relaxing session of yoga appropriate for all skill levels, accompanied by adorable furry friends. Participants must bring their own yoga mat and are welcome to pause and take photos with the animals during the session. Oktoberfest
Saturday, September 30 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Throw on your dirndls and your lederhosen and join Halcyon for the annual Oktoberfest celebration, presented by Mercedes-Benz Experience Center by RBM of Alpharetta! The day will begin with a Concours d’Elegance Classic Mercedes Car Show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by traditional Oktoberfest festivities featuring The Wurstbrats, a live eight-piece German Polka band, free pretzel necklace-making station, yard games and new this year, a keg rolling contest. Sit picnic style on Village Green treating your taste buds to hot pretzels, brats, other German delicacies, beer, beer and more beer. This event is free and open to the public. Oktoberfest at HOBNOB
Saturday, September 30 at 6 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Prost! Celebrate Oktoberfest at HOBNOB with your crew! Enjoy delicious German beers and classics like pretzels with beer cheese, brats, sauerkrauts and reubens. Wear your best German-themed outfit for a chance to win a $50 gift card to HOBNOB. For more information, visit the event page.
Groovin’ on the Green
Fridays and Saturdays in September from 6 – 9 p.m.
Celebrate the weekend with dancing and singing along to live musical performances on Village Green. Enjoy local musicians across a variety of genres playing top hits. Guests can treat themselves to a craft brew and groove to live music all around the village! Halcyon has an open container policy, however, outside food and beverages are prohibited. Halcyon Kids Club
Wednesdays in September from 10 a.m. – noon
Preschoolers are invited to play and make new friends each week at the free Halcyon Kids Club! The little ones can engage in a rotating menu of activities ranging from arts and crafts, dance, animal encounters, storytime, puppet shows, music and so much more. Themes and activities vary weekly and will be announced on Halcyon’s Facebook page and Instagram stories. A parent or guardian is required to stay with each child during the duration of the event.
