THE BATTERY ATLANTA HOSTS A FRESH LINEUP OF EVENTS THIS JANUARY

Cobb County’s favorite open-air destination offers new activities to start off the year

Visitors will look forward to 2023 with The Battery Atlanta’s lineup of events to kick offthe New Year. Baseball fans can celebrate the 2021 World-Series champions, The Atlanta Braves, during Braves Fest this January. Live! at the Battery Atlanta will host a watch party for the College Football Championship and show major UFC matches on the biggest screen in the Southeast. With the return of the Cornhole ATL Winter League, Atlantans can participate in a seven-week season of matches that culminate with a season-ending tournament offering trophies and prizes. The Coca-Cola Roxy continues with a full roster of performers throughout the month.

Braves Fest presented by Delta Air Lines
Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Fans are invited to join the Atlanta Braves for photo opportunities, autographs, on-field activities and a celebration of Atlanta’s favorite baseball team! Attendees will enjoy memorable and interactive experiences with players, delicious dining options and great shopping spots. Admission to the event is free and takes place throughout The Battery Atlanta and Truist Park. More information can be found at mlb.com.

College Football Championship Party
Monday, Jan. 9 at 5 p.m.

The College Football season is coming to an end, and fans are invited to grab a standing room ticket to cheer on the final teams that will compete for the 2023 title! Guests will enjoy game day chants, giveaways and more as Live! at the Battery Atlanta closes out a down south tradition with a college football game watch party. Tickets can be purchased here.

UFC 283 Fight Watch Event
Saturday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m.
Fight fans will not miss a minute of action when viewing UFC Light Heavyweight Championship between former champion Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill. Guests are asked to provide $10 at the door for entrance, and tables can be reserved by contacting events@liveatthebatteryatlanta.com.

Cornhole ATL Winter League
Wednesdays, Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31 at 6:30 p.m.
Cornhole returns to The Battery Atlanta in 2023 with seven-week leagues for all levels of cornhole players. The league includes a season-ending tournament with a championship trophy and other prizes. The first-place team will qualify to compete in the State Championship Cornament and chance to get their team’s name on The Cup. More information on joining a team can be found here.

Mardi Gras Live!, Big Game Bash, Live UFC Fight Event, Shamrocks & Shenanigans & More

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Atlanta, GA) Live! at The Battery – the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta – announces its events lineup for February and March 2023, plus ongoing happenings like Girls Night Out, Freedom Friday and Silent Saturday.

  • Big Game Bash (Sun., Feb. 12) – Clear eyes, full hearts and a big screen for the biggest professional football game. Live! at the Battery’s Sports and Social Atlanta is the place to be for an in-game experience full of games, giveaways and so much more. Football fans can watch the big game while enjoying Game Beer Bucket Specials and themed cocktails. Tickets are available here and table reservations can be made here.
  • Mardi Gras Live! (Sat., Feb. 18) – The entertainment destination is bringing the French Quarter back to Atlanta this Mardi Gras. Celebrate with Cajun dishes, an exclusive VIP low country boil, live music, entertainers and hurricanes all night long! General Admission ($25) and VIP ($50) tickets are now available here.
  • Live NFC Event (Fri., March 10) – This March, Live! at the Battery is hosting their first National Fighting Championship (NFC) event. The action-packed evening will feature live professional and amateur MMA and Muay Thai fights. Fight attendees will have the chance to experience 12+ fights in the NFC cage at one of the most exciting and new environments for watching live fights. Plus, fan-favorite drinks and an official after party next door at PBR. The event will be 18 and up with certain areas being 21 and up. Tickets and tables will be available here soon.
  • Shamrocks & Shenanigans (Fri., March 17) – Get ready to enjoy everything GREEN at Live! At the Battery’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Guests can enjoy all the best Irish-themed entertainment, including signature drinks, green beer and live entertainment to help make St. Patrick’s Day pure gold. Those looking for some basketball madness can enjoy games on the 32ft LED TV screen as well. Come sham-rock & roll and don’t miss out on the luck of the Irish! Tickets will be available at here starting January 27.

A one-of-a-kind place to catch sports, dine in style, sip cold beer and craft cocktails, play games and do a bit of bull riding and line dancing, Live! at The Battery plays host to some of Atlanta’s most fun food and drink events. Ongoing happenings include:

  • Girls Night Out with food and drink specials every Thursday from 8-11pm
  • Freedom Friday, which welcomes military personnel, vets, first responders and public service members to skip the line, get free cover (credentials required) and enjoy drink specials every first Friday of the month.
  • Silent Saturday, inviting guests to grab a pair of headphones and get in the groove with beats from local DJs

The Battery Atlanta is Home for the Holidays with Live Music, Festive Events and more

The holiday season is in full swing at The Battery Atlanta, and families are invited to celebrate all month long. From outdoor movie nights to photos with Santa, there is something for the whole family to enjoy. Guests can savor the festivities with special restaurant promotions at C. Ellet’s and Garden and Gun Club. The Coca-Cola Roxy continues a full lineup of festive performers throughout the month.

Santa Paws presented by Truist
Thursday Dec. 1, 8, and 15 from 4- 8 p.m.
Paw-rents can bring their furry friends for a special free photo opportunity with Santa Claus. Until Dec. 24 from 4-8 p.m., four-legged friends can enjoy this seasonal treat. Santa’s Post Office presented by Truist
Dec. 2 through Saturday, Dec. 24
Santa Claus will continue the time-honored tradition of greeting local children at his Post Office in The Battery Atlanta through Saturday, Dec. 24.  Santa will set up shop every Friday through Sunday in the Community Corner presented by Truist, located at the corner of Power Alley and Battery Avenue.  Families are invited to bring their handwritten letters to Santa – postage not required – in person at his official Atlanta outpost.  Santa’s helpers will take care of the rest! Truist will have additional activities, photo ops, and giveaways for the whole family, celebrating the holidays and the local community. Instead of a professional photographer, this free opportunity allows parents / guardians to take their own photos of their children interacting with Santa as he listens to their wish lists. Tinsel Tavern at Live! at The Battery Atlanta
Dec. 1 – 24
Live! at The Battery Atlanta invites guests to experience an over-the-top holiday experience unlike any other. From Dec 1 – Dec 24, The Tavern transforms into Tinsel Tavern, a holiday pop-up bar, featuring an explosion of tinsel & twinkling lights, specialty holiday cocktails & tasty small bites, instagrammable photo moments, themed nights, and more.

Allatoona Jazz Band Holiday Performances
Friday, Dec. 2 and 9 at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 16 at 5 p.m.
The Allatoona High School Jazz Band will spread holiday cheer all season long. New Year’s Eve Bash Presented by Xfinity
Saturday, Dec. 31 at 6 p.m.
Ring in the new year in style at The Battery Atlanta’s New Year’s Eve Bash presented by Xfinity. Families and kids can enjoy the Early Innings countdown at 6 p.m. in the Plaza, which includes a special performance by GRAMMY nominee Justin Roberts and culminates with an inflatable baseball drop at 8 p.m. The Late Innings will begin at 9 p.m., featuring a special performance by 12 South Band on the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage. Visitors are welcomed to celebrate the new year with a Vegas-themed NYE party with casino games, festive decorations, and exclusive access to Sports & Social and PBR Atlanta. Live! at The Battery – the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta – announces it will be home to holiday pop-up bar Tinsel Tavern throughout the merriest time of year! Featuring an explosion of tinsel and twinkling lights, holiday-inspired cocktails and small bites, and photo moments, the whimsical experience will be open daily Thursday, December 1 through Saturday, December 24 from 4pm until close.

Throughout the season, Tinsel Tavern will host festive themed nights – think Dancing Elves Silent Disco and an Ugly Sweater Party – and Family Day every Sunday from 4-7pm, where kids can visit Santa, enjoy coloring stations and more. Guests will be able to make reservations beginning early November or can walk in for drinks and socializing. Will Feature Tastings of Over 100 Beers, Local Vendors, Live Music, Games & More

 

Held from 3-6pm on the Lawn Between Live! at the Battery & Terrapin’s Atlanta Brewery & Taproom 

 

 Live! at The Battery – the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta – is teaming up with Athens-based brewery Terrapin Beer Co. to host the second-annual Brew Fest on Saturday, August 13 from 3-7pm at The Battery Atlanta. Bringing together beer enthusiasts and brewers, many local and craft-focused, the event invites attendees to taste over 100 beers, listen to live music on The Plaza stage, shop items from local vendors, play games and more.

Featured breweries – stationed outside at Live! at The Battery and Terrapin’s Atlanta Brewery and Taproom, plus on the lawn between the two – will include Terrapin Beer Co., Second Self Beer Co., Scofflaw Brewing Co., Gate City Brewing, Steady Hand Beer Co, Dry County Brewing Co, Monday Night Brewing, New Realm Brewery, Orpheus Brewing and many more. They will pour fan favorites alongside rare and experimental brews.

General admission ($30 early bird / $40 regular) and VIP ($60 early bird / $70 regular) tickets are now available here. Each ticket includes entry into the event, a souvenir tasting glass and unlimited beer tastings. VIP ticket holders will also enjoy exclusive access to a VIP area with an elevated buffet plus a swag bag. 

In 2017, Terrapin became the first craft brewery in Georgia to open a second location, with the opening of the Atlanta Brewery and Taproom at The Battery across from Live! At The Battery. In addition to producing many of its year-round and seasonal brands, Terrapin’s Atlanta brewery and taproom serves as its Research and Development pipeline, testing new beers to potentially go to market.

Lineup includes free yoga classes, tennis lessons, Mimosa Fest and concerts!

The Battery Atlanta invites Atlantans and visitors to continue summer festivities throughout the month of July. Guests can expect a lineup of events including   outdoor yoga classes, Farmers Markets, kids’ tennis lessons, live performances and more. Visitors craving a taste of summer can dine alfresco on patios, sip refreshing libations at a Mimosa Festival, and cool off with classic summer treats from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and River Street Sweets Savannah’s Candy Kitchen. The Battery Atlanta has planned lively activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy!

Farmers Market

Visitors can shop organic must-haves at The Battery Atlanta Farmers Market! A variety of local vendors will be in attendance selling wellness products, prepared foods, artisanal bread and more on the Plaza Green – there’s even a petting zoo.

Wednesday, July 20, 10-11 a.m.
Wellstar Health System invites kids to bring their sick or injured Teddy Bear or other plush friend to the Teddy Bear Clinic. The plush patients will receive a healthcare check-up, X-ray, bandages and instructions on how to stay healthy. The Teddy Bear clinic promotes healthy habits while allowing children the opportunity to become familiar with what it’s like to visit a healthcare professional in a fun and developmentally appropriate setting. Divas Drag Brunch, Lana Turner Foundation’s Ride for a Cure, Atlanta Wine Walk, Mimosa Fest & More

 

Live! at The Battery – the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta – announces its events lineup for May, June and July 2022, plus ongoing happenings like Girls Night Out, Freedom Friday and Silent Saturday.

  • Divas Drag Brunch (Saturday, May 21, 11am-2pm) – Presented by SADBrunch, Sports & Social – the one-of-a-kind sports bar, gaming parlor and social lounge at Live! at the Battery – is hosting its first ever Drag Brunch. The 21+ ticketed event will feature special guests Mhi-ya Iman LePaige from Miami, Katrina Colby and Drew Friday. Tickets here include reserved seating and mimosas, and attendees can order items from a special brunch menu, including the likes of Chicken & Waffles with fried chicken strips, toasted waffle, honey lemon butter, sliced strawberries, mint & syrup and Stuffed French Toast with a sweet mascarpone cheese filling and topped with strawberry compote & powdered sugar.

 

  • LTF Ride for a Cure (Sunday, May 22, Noon-3pm) – The Lana Turner Foundation and brothers Brit and Richard Turner of Blackberry Smoke are teaming up with Live! at The Battery to help raise funds for art, music and storytelling programs for children experiencing pediatric cancer at LTF Ride for a Cure. Starting at 11am, bikers will meet at New Realm Brewery in Atlanta, Eaglerider in Marietta, Falcons Fury HD in Conyers or Rocc’s Pub in Jasper and ride over to Live! at The Battery for live music, bourbon, BBQ, games, prizes, merch and more beginning at noon.   • Atlanta Wine Walk (Saturday, June 4, 3-7pm) – Marking the event of the summer, Live! at The Battery will welcome Atlantans and visitors alike to uncork and unwind at their annual 21+ wine festival Atlanta Wine Walk, presented by Chateau Ste. Michelle! Alongside music from local DJ Empress Rah and a live band, festival goers will sip, taste and enjoy wines from a variety of winemakers, including Chateau Ste. Michelle, 14 Hands, Orin Swift and more, plus a few craft beers. 

Attendees can also register for a Paint & Sip class when purchasing tickets and will be able to shop items from locally owned businesses like Dress Up at The Battery, YogaSix, DOPE Coffee and more, and order bites from food trucks onsite. With a portion of ticket sales proceeds benefiting Bert’s Big Adventure – a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families – general admission tickets are $35 and include a souvenir tasting glass and unlimited wine tastes. VIP tickets are $70 and include a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited wine tastes, an elevated buffet, a swag bag and access to a VIP area, an exclusive pouring station and a photo booth.

  • Mimosa Fest (Sunday, July 17, 11am-3pm) – Live! at The Battery will host its first-ever Mimosa Fest, filled with specialty mimosas, live music, delicious brunch bites, games and more. Available here, general admission tickets include entry into the event and one mimosa, and VIP tickets include three mimosas, a t-shirt, access to a VIP area and entry into the event an hour early.

A one-of-a-kind place to catch sports, dine in style, sip cold beer and crafted cocktails, play games and do a bit of bull riding and line dancing, Live! at the Battery plays host to some of Atlanta’s most fun food and drink events. Ongoing happenings include Girls Night Out with food and drink specials every Thursday from 8-11pm; Freedom Friday, which welcomes military personnel, vets, first responders and public service members to skip the line, get free cover (credentials required) and enjoy drink specials once a month; and Silent Saturday, inviting guests to grab a pair of headphones and get in the groove with beats from local DJs. This August, they’ll also host Live! Brewfest with Terrapin Taproom, offering tastings of over 100 local craft beers alongside live music, games and great food. More details to come.

Cobb County’s favorite sports and entertainment destination offers events to usher in warmer weather

Atlanta’s ultimate open-air destination for spring, The Battery Atlanta, has planned a packed entertainment lineup this April, featuring events and activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy. From relaxing yoga and cornhole competitions, to girls’ nights out and patio dining, to music bingo and live music – and, of course, baseball –The Battery Atlanta is the place to be to soak up the best spring has to offer!

Outdoor Activities:

Wellness Series: Yoga by Kaiser Permanente
Mondays, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Start the week off stress-free at an outdoor yoga class presented by Kaiser Permanente. As part of the Wellness Series at The Battery Atlanta, this free event is open to all ages to relax and unwind on the Plaza Green. Participants are required to bring a mat and encouraged to bring water. Guests can register here.

The Battery Atlanta Walking Trail

A brisk walk can curb cravings, reduce stress and offer a healthy way to catch up with friends and family! Get out and get active on the 1.5-mile loop circling the campus.

Cornhole ATL Spring League
Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.

A tailgate favorite is now a league of its own! Spectators are encouraged to watch the action and cheer on league participants as they compete each week, leading up to the spring season’s final tournament. League winners will receive a championship trophy and other prizes.

Bark at the Park
Sunday, April 10 and 24, Games begin at 1:20 p.m.

Atlanta Braves fans are invited to bring their furry friends to cheer on the team at Truist Park. Tickets must be purchased online in advance here. Every dog in attendance will receive an Atlanta Braves dog leash, compliments of Kroger. For every ticket sold, a $3 donation will be made to benefit the Animal Rescue Foundation. All dogs must be kept of a leash at all times.

American Red Cross Blood Drive
Thursday, April 14 at 9 a.m.

Step up to the plate! The American Red Cross continues their blood drive at The Battery Atlanta. Interested donors can visit redcross.org, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or use the Blood Donor App to schedule an appointment in advance. Free parking is available in the Delta Deck for donors and free 3-hour parking is available in the Red Deck.

Allatoona Jazz Band
Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m.; Thursday, April 21 at 7 p.m.; Friday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m.

Guests are invited to watch the Allatoona High School Jazz Band perform jazz classics on the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage.

Atlantans wanting to enjoy the warmer weather this month are in luck. The Battery Atlanta has lined up a March schedule packed with fun events for everyone to enjoy. From Jazz brunches at C. Ellet’s to the return of Yoga series, the destination welcomes guests to start the season off on the right foot. All month long, tenants are preparing for the arrival of spring with memorable events to bring friends and families together – from St. Patrick’s Day festivities to live music at the Coca-Cola Roxy!
