Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style at Punch Bowl Social, sip and savor a delicious Mother’s Day brunch at National Anthem Atlanta or enjoy a festive Derby Day at BURN. For cocktail enthusiasts, ASW Distillery offers a hands-on experience crafting custom gin, while Battle & Brew invites guests to a whimsical Princes & Princess Cosplay Party. Jazz on the Plaza Green with Allatoona High School Jazz Band

Spring Break is fast approaching, and The Battery Atlanta is the ideal destination, hosting a slew of special events to enjoy the week off with friends and family. From themed trivia nights at Battle & Brew and outdoor yoga, to a Watch PAWty and Silent Disco at Live! at The Battery Atlanta, there is plenty to appreciate. Punch Bowl Social invites Atlantans to take advantage of their Spring Fever Unlimited Play, while CRU hosts a decadent Easter brunch. Live! at The Battery – the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta – announces the return of its third annual holiday pop-up bar Tinsel Tavern! A dazzling pop-up bar nestled within Live! at the Battery, this festive haven offers a unique experience for all. Guests are invited to step into magical fun throughout the merriest time of year and experience an explosion of tinsel and twinkling lights, holiday-inspired cocktails and small bites, photo moments and themed nights like karaoke and silent disco. 

The whimsical experience will be open daily Monday through Sunday. Hours will be Sunday – Thursday: 5-11pm, Friday: 5pm-1am, Saturday: 5pm-2am (excluding select days for private events).

Throughout the season, Tinsel Tavern will host festive, themed nights including a Holiday Sip & Paint night on Sunday, December 1 and Saturday, December 7, an Ugly Sweater Party on Friday, December 13, Holiday Karaoke on Friday, December 20 and Silent Disco on Saturday, December 21. A seasonal favorite returns! The Battery Atlanta will once again present the Xfinity Movie Series from Oct. 11 – Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. on the Plaza Green. Every Friday this fall, moviegoers will experience family-favorite classics like “Minions,” “Fast & Furious” and more. On Saturday, Nov. 30, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” will be shown immediately following the annual Christmas Tree Lighting festivities. Moviegoers can grab a dinner or takeout at one of The Battery Atlanta’s many dining options, including EATaliano, Superica and more, before settling in for the screening. Pre-order packages are also available from The Omni Hotel and start at $50. Wellness Series: Yoga by Kaiser Permanente
Every Monday; 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
The Yoga Series continues this summer to help yogis end their Mondays stress-free at an outdoor yoga class presented by Kaiser Permanente. As part of the Wellness Series at The Battery Atlanta, this free event is open to all ages to relax and unwind on the Plaza Green. Participants are required to bring a mat and encouraged to bring a water bottle. Guests may register here.

Taste of Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta Food Tours
Thursday, July 18 and 25 at 12:30 p.m.
The Atlanta Braves and The Battery Atlanta continue to host the Taste of Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta Food Tours as an extension of the current Truist Park tour program. The tour kicks off with a Terrapin beer and soft pretzel in the exclusive Truist Park Press Box, followed by a trip to the Atlanta Braves dugout to sample Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q. Continuing into The Battery Atlanta, participants will enjoy stops at ASW Distillery, Mac McGee’s Irish Pub and El Super Pan, ending with a classic Southern treat at River Street Sweets. ​The Wellstar Family Series continues with free programming on the Plaza Green for families and children of all ages to enjoy. From Health Place Fitness to Small Bites Adventure Club, this summer’s fun runs through July 31.

Science Made FUN with High Touch High Tech
Tuesday, July 9; 10 a.m. ​ – ​ Noon
Kids are invited to become scientists while degreed professionals lead them through this totally hands-on space exploration program. Divided in (2) 45-minute sessions starting on the hour, kids will journey through experimentation with High Touch High Tech of Greater Atlanta. Ages 4-10. To sign up for this activity, click here!

Teddy Bear Clinic, Accompanied by Health Place
Wednesday, July 10; 10 – 11 a.m.
Wellstar Health System invites kids to bring their Teddy Bear or other plush friend to the Teddy Bear Clinic on the Plaza Green on National Teddy Bear Picnic Day. The plush patients will receive a healthcare check-up, X-ray, bandages, and instructions on how to stay healthy. The Teddy Bear clinic promotes healthy habits while allowing children the opportunity to become familiar with what it’s like to visit a healthcare professional in a fun and developmentally appropriate setting.   Other fun interactive stations will be offered as well to include fitness, coloring, and a special guest appearance by Dr. WellBee.  Siblings are welcome, too. Kidokinetics
Thursday, July 11 and 18; 10 a.m. – Noon
​Kids of all ages are invited to an engaging sports fitness program with Kidokinetics! Following a group warmup, kidos are split by age groups for (3) 15-minute sessions learning unique sports like pickleball, scoops and many more. The basic concepts of a variety of sports will be introduced in a safe, non-competitive environment ensuring children of every level or ability are learning values such as teamwork, sportsmanship and self-confidence. Challenge Island: Rocket Building

​Join Challenge Island in Shooting for the Stars during All Star Week and building rockets of all sizes! Challenge Island, a pioneer in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education, is taking the lead in encouraging families to embrace a transformative goal—reducing screen time for children. Small Bites Adventure Club

​Little ones can join on the Plaza Green for a kid-friendly hands-on cooking class with Wellstar Pediatrics in partnership with Small Bites Adventure Club! Children ages 4-12 are invited to roll up their sleeves and create a delicious snack: Rowdy Ranch and Zucchini!
