THE BATTERY ATLANTA KICKS OFF THE HOLIDAYS THIS NOVEMBER

Tree lighting, live music and classic movies happening at Cobb County’s fan-favorite destination

Throughout November, The Battery Atlanta will provide a wide variety of festive activities, deals and entertainment to gear up for the holiday season! Seasonal events include Santa Photos and the Xfinity Movie Series. Guests can indulge themselves with specials from local eateries, including Margarita Mondays at El Super Pan and Wing Crush Wednesdays at Terrapin Taproom, or enjoy a meal from newly opened EATaliano. The Coca-Cola Roxy will also feature a lineup of live music and events.

Santa Photos
Beginning Friday, Nov. 26 (Hours vary)

Santa Claus is coming to town! The Man in the Red Suit will make his annual appearance at The Battery Atlanta to accept children’s letters and pose for pictures. Families can also stop by for special events, including Santa Paws nights and Sensitive Santa mornings. For more information for all types of photo sessions offered, please visit batteryatl.com.

The Battery Atlanta Annual Tree Lighting

Nov. 27 from 5:30-7 p.m.

The Battery Atlanta is lighting up the night at the fifth annual holiday Tree Lighting! Festivities will feature a performance from The Block Party on the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage, followed by a special appearance from Mark Owens and Blooper, on behalf of the Atlanta Braves, who will help track down Santa as he gets closer to lighting the tree at approximately 7 p.m. Immediately following the celebration, guests are invited to stay and enjoy an outdoor showing of “Abominable” as part of the Xfinity Fall Movie Series on the Georgia Power Pavilion screen.

Live music, costume contests and delicious deals happening at Cobb County’s fan-favorite destination

The Battery Atlanta welcomes spooky season lovers of all ages to explore the best of Cobb County’s work-live-play destination. This October, in addition to Halloween-filled happenings, guests can indulge all month long in Totcho Tuesdays at Terrapin Taproom and Wine Down Wednesdays at BURN as well as fitness-focused activities like Yoga by Kaiser Permanente or a fresh fall walk on The Battery Atlanta Walking Trail presented by United Healthcare. Guests will also discover a wide variety of live performances at Park Bench and the Coca Cola Roxy.

Fright Night Halloween at Sports and Social
Oct. 23 at 8 p.m.
Thrill-seekers are invited to discover the haunted cemetery-themed party people are dying to get in to! Attendees can expect live music, drink specials and a costume contest with $7,500 in cash prizes. Tickets for the event are $20 and include admission and one drink ticket. Guests must be 21 and over to attend and can purchase tickets at axs.com.

Xfinity Fall Movie Series
Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
Families and friends can enjoy a movie under the stars located at the Plaza Green! Beginning Oct. 29 and continuing every weekend this fall, the community will discover a variety of family-friendly films. This showing will feature the classic film, Back to the Future! Moviegoers are encouraged to bring a blanket or a lawn chair with them to enjoy this free event.

Hoots N Howls: Halloween Dog Costume Contest
Oct. 31 from 1-4 p.m.
Happy Howl-o-ween! Four-legged friends and their pet parents are invited to join in on the Halloween fun this year at The Battery Atlanta! In addition to live music and various vendors, guests can dress their fur babies in their best costume for a chance to win this year’s Halloween Dog Costume Contest! A $5 entry fee is required for each dog with all proceeds benefitting animal rescue organizations.

2021 Greater Atlanta Heart Walk
Oct. 2 from 9-11 a.m.
The Battery Atlanta and the American Heart Associate welcome families and friends to get moving in this year’s Greater Atlanta Heart Walk! The event will partake both in-person and remotely to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise critical funds for the American Heart Association. Participants can register for the event online.

Start the week off stress-free with a limited capacity, outdoor yoga class presented by Kaiser Permanente on non-event days at the Plaza Green. As the season heats up so does Atlanta’s premiere entertainment destination

The fun continues at The Battery Atlanta with an array of entertainment options and refreshing deals that offer locals a chance to savor the season. Those looking to rest and retreat from the warmer weather can visit the newly opened Silverspot Cinema to see the hottest new releases (and a few classics!) in its premium luxury seating in addition to enjoying half off bar bites and drink specials every Tuesday and Thursday. Guests can also expect weekly favorites, including Wednesday Night Trivia at Good Game or refreshing drinks at BURN during Ketel One Thursday specials. With summer in full swing, local favorite Park Bench continues to provide an engaging lineup of musical experiences for guests to enjoy.

Tennis on the Turf with USTA
July 20 & 27 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Families are invited to spend a morning on the court. Parents and children can choose from 30-minute tennis lessons and free matches on the Plaza Green. Participants will be able to sign up for the free lessons online through the U.S. Tennis Association. Registration will be encouraged but not required to attend. Walk-ups are welcome as space permits!

Bach to Rock Music and Movement Summer Series
July 24 from 4-6 p.m. and July 29 from 10-11 a.m.
Children up to 8-years-old and their parents are invited to experience free, dynamic music and movement activities that are educational and fun-filled hosted by Bach to Rock Sandy Plains! To learn more about Bach to Rock Sandy Plains, visit their website.

American Red Cross Blood Drives:
The American Red Cross continues their blood drive at The Battery Atlanta! All presenting donors will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a chance to win special Atlanta Braves and American Red Cross giveaways, while supplies last.

Select restaurants at Atlanta’s premier entertainment district offer specialty Mother’s Day brunches

The metro-Atlanta community can make the most of The Battery Atlanta’s sports and entertainment experience this May! The Farmers Market presented by UnitedHealthcare returns to the Plaza Green this month; visitors are invited to shop fresh and locally grown goods on non-event Sundays. All ages can take a swing at baseball, football, golf and more at Mizuno Experience Center or Good Game presented by Topgolf Swing Suite – or put their teamwork skills to the test at The Escape Game.

Atlanta Braves fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the Plaza Green to watch the Atlanta Braves take on teams on the jumbo screen. To-go drinks and take-out meals are available from participating restaurants located along Battery Avenue and Battery Walk.

Mother’s Day Brunch at CRÚ Food & Wine Bar

Movie nights have become a regular family activity, so The Battery Atlanta is queuing up feel-good comedies, action-packed adventures and more with the return of its popular Xfinity Movie Series. Every Friday at 7 p.m., visitors can immerse themselves in the big-screen experience outdoors at the Plaza Green. Guests of all ages are encouraged to spread out six feet apart with lawn chairs or thick blankets to set the scene for a casual and cozy – yet socially-distanced – night under the stars.
