This spring and summer, Amore e Amore invites Atlanta to dive into a whimsical world beneath the waves. Beginning Thursday, March 5, 2026, the beloved Inman Park ristorante will unveil its latest immersive transformation, Under the Sea, a vintage-inspired, delightfully kitschy coastal escape filled with nostalgic charm, playful surprises, and the theatrical spirit that has defined the restaurant for 25 years.

Inspired by the late Professor Giovanni Ferro’s love for the sea, the dining room will be transformed into a retro underwater dreamscape layered with shimmering blue lanterns, floating jellyfish, cheeky sharks, and nostalgic seaside touches that feel like a throwback to classic beach boardwalks and old-school ocean adventures. Turquoise, Giovanni’s favorite color, sets the tone throughout the space, washing the room in playful shades of blue that evoke sunlit water and carefree summer days.

As Amore e Amore continues celebrating its 25th anniversary, the theme feels especially fitting. For a quarter century, the restaurant has built its reputation on transporting guests somewhere unexpected, turning dinner into an experience and transforming the dining room into an ever-evolving stage for imagination and celebration. Under the Sea carries that tradition forward while honoring the spirit of the man who inspired so much of it.

“This theme feels incredibly special,” says co-founder “Mama Gale” Parker. “Giovanni always loved the sea. There was something about it that made him feel joyful and free, and that sense of wonder is something we’ve always tried to bring into the restaurant. For 25 years, our goal has been to create a place where people can escape, celebrate, and make memories together. Under the Sea is a tribute to that same spirit and the man behind that inspiration.”

Alongside the immersive décor, guests can expect Amore e Amore’s signature Italian cuisine paired with playful themed cocktails, creative zero-proof libations, and plenty of surprises woven throughout the dining experience. Funwoody Restaurants announces the return of its signature spring festival, Green Eggs & Kegs, celebrating its fifth anniversary on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from Noon to 5:00 pm at Funwoody Village (5521 Chamblee Dunwoody Road). Known as the “Best Party in the ’Burbs,” this highly anticipated annual event will once again transform the Funwoody parking lot and courtyard into the most fun-filled, suburban destination for chef-made food, craft beverages, and energetic, live entertainment.

With an all-inclusive ticket, guests will enjoy unlimited samplings from 30+ food vendors and tastes from more than 50 beer, wine, and spirits partners. The idea is to showcase the area’s top chefs, restaurants, breweries, and distillers. 

“Five years ago Green Eggs & Kegs started as a way to bring our community together for great food, drinks, and a really fun afternoon. All things St. Patrick’s Day

Sat., March 14 & Tues., March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Fadó Buckhead

The countdown to the biggest event of the year at Fadó is on! With 30 years of tradition, the Irish pub invites guests to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at its Buckhead Village location with festivities on Saturday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 17. Saturday’s outdoor block party will kick off when doors open at 7:30am, featuring a limited brunch menu until noon and their full menu available from 10:30am to 10pm. EPL and Six Nations matches will be playing all morning and afternoon, and live music will begin at 1pm from Middle Raged, Graceful Riot and The Kranberries. There will be a $20 cover beginning at noon, with early bird tickets available here for $15. No minors permitted after noon.

On Tuesday, March 17, Fadó will host its official St. Patrick’s Day celebration indoors, with doors opening early for a “Kegs & Eggs” brunch and live music throughout the day from The Kranberries and Justin. A $15 cover begins at 1pm, with early bird tickets available here for $10. Two-day passes are also available. Walk-ups are welcome as long as occupancy allows.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Alpharetta City Center

WHAT: Downtown Alpharetta is going green this month with several exciting events happening to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Between free arts-and-craft activities, festive green beer and lucky discounts, there is no shortage of family fun to bring the spirit of “Erin go Bragh!” to Alpharetta all March long.

A Two-Day Celebration of Music, Art, & Community Benefitting Crawfish For A Cause

Westside Motor Lounge welcomes the return of Mental Awakening, a two-day festival filled with live music, local art, and community spirit, on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, 2026. Presented by Crawfish For A Cause, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, the annual event brings together music lovers, artists, and advocates for an unforgettable weekend — all in support of critical mental health initiatives in the Atlanta area. Now in its sixth year, Mental Awakening has grown from a backyard gathering with just two bands into a multi-day festival that draws over 2,000 attendees, showcases a dozen bands, and raises thousands of dollars to support local nonprofits working directly with individuals, schools, and treatment centers across the community.

The 2026 lineup is packed with standout performances from Dogs in a Pile, Frute Tand Yule, Wax Monkey, Big Something, Dizgo, Underground Springhouse, Airshow, Mama’s Love, Sqwerv, Ain’t Sisters, and Copacetic. Whether music fans are longtime supporters or first-time festivalgoers, the diverse mix of jam bands, bluegrass, rock, and funk offers something for everyone.

Long associated with and benefiting the High Museum of Art since 1993, the High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction partners with a new backdrop that reflects both its growth and its continued investment in Atlanta’s cultural landscape. PIEDMONT HEIGHTS ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES BIGGER AND BETTER PIHI DAY 2026

Annual community clean-up and “Pie-Off” to support local businesses will take place on March 14

The PiHi Alliance, in partnership with the Piedmont Heights Civic Association, is excited to announce the return of the annual PiHi Day celebration on Saturday, March 14, 2026. In honor of National Pi Day, this year’s event will feature an expanded schedule, including the “Beautify PiHi” community clean-up and the highly anticipated “PiHi Day Pie-Off” to engage residents and support the neighborhood’s vibrant commercial districts. The event is proudly sponsored by Selig Enterprises, Nakato Japanese Restaurant and supported by Ansley Golf Course. 

The day begins with “Beautify PiHi”, a 2-mile community clean-up effort focused around Selig’s Ansley Mall (1544 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta GA 30324) and the Eastside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine, including the new pedestrian bridge connecting Ansley Mall directly to the BeltLine. Volunteers will gather to collect trash and show their commitment to the neighborhood and its small businesses. This year’s effort builds on the success of the previous year, where over 75 volunteers collected more than 50 full bags of trash.

  • Beautify PiHi: Saturday March 14, 2026 | 9:30 a.m. – Noon

Following the clean-up, the focus shifts to the “PiHi Day Pie-Off,” which aims to establish Piedmont Heights as the “Pie Capital of Atlanta.” This delicious and low-effort initiative encourages the community to support local restaurants.

A Tour of Italy, One Pour at a Time, Course by Course

Monday, March 9 at 6:30 p.m. 

Trattoria Lucia will host its first wine dinner on Monday, March 9 at 6:30 p.m. The 60-seat Glenwood Park restaurant from restaurateur Damien McGee, best known for his acclaimed cocktail lounge Vesper, will present a five-course tasting menu with regional Italian pairings.

The evening begins with passed fried artichoke hearts and fig with prosciutto alongside Medici Ermete “Concerto” Reggiano Lambrusco DOC. Courses follow with jalapeño cilantro strawberry hamachi paired with Benanti Etna Bianco DOC; ricotta ravioli in sage brown butter with Castello di Volpaia Chianti Classico DOCG; chilled branzino with orange gin and Calabrian aïoli matched with Masi Fresco di Masi Rosso Verona IGT; and braised short rib with parmesan polenta alongside Travaglini Gattinara DOCG (Nebbiolo, Piedmont). The experience ends on a sweet note with limon crema bruciata and Masi “Angelorum” Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG.

GRANT PARK CONSERVANCY’S CANOPY SOIRÉE RETURNS FOR A NIGHT OUT IN SUPPORT OF ATLANTA’S OLDEST PARK

An Evening of Music, Dancing, Cocktails and Community at Savanna Hall at Zoo Atlanta

Friday, March 27, 2026 | 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Spring in Atlanta comes with a certain energy. Windows open. Music gets louder. And on Friday, March 27, the sixth annual Canopy Soirée brings that energy straight to Savanna Hall at Zoo Atlanta for a night dedicated to Grant Park, the city’s oldest public park and a cornerstone of the community.

Hosted by the Grant Park Conservancy, the 21+ celebration is equal parts dance floor, cocktail party, and community love letter. Expect music that keeps the room moving, an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a raffle that raises the stakes, all while overlooking the zoo’s popular African Savanna.

Behind the music and celebration is a clear purpose: ensuring the park continues to thrive long after the last song ends. In the past year alone, the Conservancy has delivered meaningful improvements across Grant Park, from a new playground and signature Southeast Quadrant entrance to the reclaimed Abana Courtyard and expanded greenspace at Erskine Fountain. Athletic spaces have been revitalized with resurfaced basketball courts and a vibrant plaza serving basketball, pickleball, and tennis players. Native gardens now flourish at Constitution Spring and Loomis Plaza, while habitat restoration continues at the Cherokee Wetlands and the Pond. Newly installed interpretive signage shares deeper stories about the park’s layered history.

Funds raised at the 2026 Canopy Soirée will support the Milledge Fountain Outdoor Classroom and Theatre, the new GPC Park Care Center, year-round ecological care, and the beloved Summer Shade Festival. Community fundraising events like this make transformative projects possible while ensuring that Atlanta’s oldest public park remains vibrant, welcoming, and resilient.

YEPPA KICKS OFF F1 SEASON AT BOTH LOCATIONS

Catch Every Lap of the Season Opener at Yeppa Buckhead and Yeppa BeltLine

Reservations Available for Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11 p.m.

The lights go out on the 2026 Formula 1 season opener on Saturday, March 7 at 11 p.m., and Yeppa is airing every lap at both of its Atlanta locations—sound on, screens up, doors open until the end of the race. With sweeping new regulations, a new World Champion in Lando Norris, and an expanded grid welcoming Cadillac as the sport’s 11th team, the opener marks the start of a new era and Yeppa BeltLine and Yeppa Buckhead are ready. 

At Yeppa BeltLine, the race will be shown with sound up and late-night reservations available. At Yeppa Buckhead, the race will also air with full sound and reservations available via OpenTable, with VIP tables offered by email at buckheadres@yeppaco.com. Buckhead table details include a $100 minimum for up to six guests and $69 P’s Rosé magnums available for the table. Focaccia will be served until midnight at both locations, while the main kitchen closes at regular hours.
