SPACE EXPLORERS: THE INFINITE LANDS AT PULLMAN YARDS

Posted by Liz and John, 2/27/26

The world’s largest immersive space experience opens March 27, transforming Pullman Yards into a gateway to orbit

Space Explorers: THE INFINITE arrives at Pullman Yards, offering Atlanta audiences a rare opportunity to experience life as an astronaut onboard the International Space Station. Presented for a limited engagement by Infinity Experiences, the exhibition transforms one of the city’s most dynamic creative hubs into a launchpad for discovery, wonder, and perspective.

Since its creation in 2021, Space Explorers: THE INFINITE has captivated more than half a million visitors worldwide. This groundbreaking experience captures the daily life of real astronauts in the largest media project ever filmed in space, delivering an unprecedented journey through immersive 360-degree footage shot entirely inside and outside the International Space Station (ISS).

Fewer than 300 people have traveled to the International Space Station over the past two decades. Inspired by NASA missions and co-created by Montreal-based PHI Studio and Felix & Paul Studios, Space Explorers: THE INFINITE offers visitors extraordinary access to life beyond Earth as the world’s largest immersive exhibition dedicated to space exploration.

Using cutting-edge immersive technology, guests explore a life-size replica of the International Space Station, gaining access to astronauts’ daily lives, spacewalks, and sweeping views of Earth from orbit. Blending cinematic storytelling with advanced spatial design, Space Explorers: THE INFINITE delivers the closest sensation yet to being in outer space without ever leaving the ground.

“Audiences no longer have to simply watch stories about space exploration,” said Eric Albert, CEO of Infinity Experiences. “With THE INFINITE, they become participants. It’s about offering a deeply human experience—one that inspires curiosity, humility, and a renewed sense of our shared place in the universe.”

During the experience, visitors are transported nearly 250 miles above Earth, moving in and out of the ISS itself. The journey goes beyond observation, offering intimate encounters and interviews with real astronauts featured in the experience, alongside quiet, awe-inspiring moments of Earth-gazing that evoke the “overview effect”—the overwhelming feeling astronauts describe when seeing Earth from space.

Guests get a front-row seat to NASA’s Artemis I rocket launch presented on giant screens, connecting humanity’s achievements in orbit with the next chapter of deep-space exploration as the Artemis program prepares for its upcoming Artemis II launch. The experience also features The Universe within the Universe, an audiovisual installation by renowned artist Ryoji Ikeda, designed to evoke the feeling of weightlessness and wonder. For one unforgettable hour, guests are invited to feel what it’s like to truly become an astronaut.

Space Explorers: THE INFINITE has been presented in major cities across North America and beyond, including Montreal, Houston, Seattle/Tacoma, Richmond/San Francisco, Charlotte, Vancouver, Denver, Toronto, Edmonton, West Palm Beach, Shanghai, and Singapore. Atlanta now joins this list of global destinations, underscoring the city’s growing role as a cultural and creative hub.

At Pullman Yards for a limited time, Space Explorers: THE INFINITE invites Atlanta to experience a journey that inspires curiosity, wonder, and a deeper connection to humanity’s shared place in the universe. With its strong educational foundation and real-world scientific content, the experience also offers a compelling opportunity for school groups and educators.

The experience is based on the Primetime Emmy Award®–winning  series Space Explorers: The ISS Experience, created and produced by Felix & Paul Studios in collaboration with NASA and TIME Studios.

Mimms Museum of Technology and Art to Host Fifth Annual Fundraiser on March 21st,

Featuring Exclusive Debut of iNSPIRE: Fifty Years of Innovation from Apple Exhibit

The Mimms Museum of Technology and Art (Mimms Museum), a nonprofit metro Atlanta attraction that is home to one of the world’s largest collections of digital-era artifacts and rotating art exhibits, will host its fifth annual BYTE fundraising gala on Saturday, March 21, from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Hosted by Fox 5 Atlanta’s Emmy-winning feature reporter Paul Milliken, BYTE26 will feature a chef-curated dinner, inventive cocktails, live and silent auctions and musical entertainment. The evening will mark the official unveiling of iNSPIRE: Fifty Years of Innovation from Apple, with attendees getting an exclusive first look at the museum’s anticipated landmark exhibition.

“BYTE brings our community together to celebrate innovation, creativity and the stories behind the technology that shapes our lives,” said Lonnie Mimms, founder and board chair of Mimms Museum. “This year, we’re especially excited about the debut of iNSPIRE and the opportunity to recognize the pioneers whose work in design and development helped contributed to many transformative moments in modern technology and culture.”

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception featuring hand-crafted drinks, followed by a chef-curated dinner accompanied by electronic violinist Michelle Winters. Guests can dance the night away with Creative Sounds International while enjoying after-hours access to the museum’s celebrated collection of computing artifacts and art installations. Live and silent auctions will take place throughout the evening, featuring unique experiences, artwork and collectibles. All proceeds benefit the museum’s educational initiatives, preservation efforts and future growth.

TIO LUCHO’S PRESENTS LA ÑAPA: A PERUVIAN COASTAL CRAWFISH BOIL

Posted by Liz and John Attaway, 2/26/26

A Patio Celebration of Crawfish Season with Peruvian Coastal Flavor

Sunday, March 29, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Crawfish season takes over the patio at Tio Lucho’s on Sunday, March 29, as the Poncey-Highlands restaurant presents La Ñapa: A Peruvian Coastal Crawfish Boil. From 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., the afternoon unfolds as a lively patio celebration where Southern lowcountry tradition meets the flavors of Northern Peru.

Inspired by “la ñapa” (nyah-pah), meaning “a little extra,” Chef and Owner Arnaldo Castillo leans into a spirit of generosity that connects Peru to the Gulf Coast. The word later evolved into lagniappe in Louisiana, an expression of giving more than expected, and that philosophy drives the day.

Waves of all-you-care-to-enjoy crawfish arrive hot and fragrant throughout the afternoon. Each reservation includes a welcome glass of house pisco punch, followed by crawfish tossed with andouille, sweet yellow corn, and red potatoes. Peruvian coastal sides are served alongside the boil, including arroz guisado layered with chicken and spice, red beans and rice, Peruvian potato salad, and house-made ají garlic and rocoto butters for added depth and heat. The patio carries an easy, celebratory rhythm from early afternoon into evening.

La Ñapa: A Peruvian Coastal Crawfish Boil is $120 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity, and includes all-you-care-to-enjoy crawfish, coastal sides, and a welcome cocktail. Seating is available between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., with advance booking encouraged. Tio Lucho’s is located in Poncey-Highlands at 675 N. Highland Ave. NE #6000, Atlanta, GA 30306. “It is with extreme enthusiasm and a keen sense of anticipation those same artists once more return to complete the work we began, and give this most beloved of all musicals the creative facelift it deserves. We truly believe the original authors would be thrilled. And we believe you will be, too!”

Producer Sean Patrick Flahaven, Chief Theatricals Executive of Concord, said, “It’s a great privilege to bring a new tour of this landmark musical to theaters across North America. People of all ages will discover or rediscover their love of this classic story that remains so appropriate for our time.
