ALTATORO TRANSFORMS ITS PATIO INTO A WHIMSICAL “WONDERLAND” POP-UP THIS SPRING

Posted by Liz and John Attaway, 3/9/26

This spring, AltaToro invites guests to step down the rabbit hole with its “Wonderland: Pop-Up,” a limited-time immersive dining experience running March 26 through May 31, 2026 in the restaurant’s covered patio space in Midtown Atlanta.

Inspired by the playful and curious world of Alice in Wonderland, the space transforms into a surreal garden where giant blooming flowers, glowing mushrooms, colorful lights, and floating playing cards create a magical environment where nothing is quite as it seems. Guests will find themselves surrounded by whimsical details reminiscent of a Mad Hatter tea party, the mischievous grin of the Cheshire Cat, and the bold playing cards of the Queen of Hearts.

Perfect for date nights, group outings, and spring celebrations, Wonderland offers a playful escape from the ordinary — right in the heart of Midtown.

In addition to the immersive décor, guests can enjoy AltaToro’s full modern Latin menu alongside a lineup of Wonderland-themed cocktails crafted exclusively for the pop-up experience.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, the magic continues with live fire performances during dinner service, adding a dramatic and unforgettable element to the already theatrical atmosphere.

“Wonderland: Pop-Up” continues AltaToro’s tradition of transforming its patio into creative seasonal experiences that transport guests into a completely different world.

Reservations for the Wonderland space are now open and highly recommended, as the pop-up is expected to book quickly. Guests should be sure to select “Wonderland” when booking their reservation.

Media will receive a follow-up press update prior to the grand opening featuring the full Wonderland cocktail menu, along with photos of the themed drinks and the fully decorated space once installation is complete.

AMORE E AMORE DIVES INTO NOSTALGIA WITH “UNDER THE SEA” SPRING & SUMMER THEME

Posted by Liz and John Attaway, 3/9/26

A Vintage Coastal Fantasy Inspired by the Late Professor Giovanni Ferro’s Love for the Sea

Reservations Now Available

This spring and summer, Amore e Amore invites Atlanta to dive into a whimsical world beneath the waves. Beginning Thursday, March 5, 2026, the beloved Inman Park ristorante will unveil its latest immersive transformation, Under the Sea, a vintage-inspired, delightfully kitschy coastal escape filled with nostalgic charm, playful surprises, and the theatrical spirit that has defined the restaurant for 25 years.

Inspired by the late Professor Giovanni Ferro’s love for the sea, the dining room will be transformed into a retro underwater dreamscape layered with shimmering blue lanterns, floating jellyfish, cheeky sharks, and nostalgic seaside touches that feel like a throwback to classic beach boardwalks and old-school ocean adventures. Turquoise, Giovanni’s favorite color, sets the tone throughout the space, washing the room in playful shades of blue that evoke sunlit water and carefree summer days.

As Amore e Amore continues celebrating its 25th anniversary, the theme feels especially fitting. For a quarter century, the restaurant has built its reputation on transporting guests somewhere unexpected, turning dinner into an experience and transforming the dining room into an ever-evolving stage for imagination and celebration. Under the Sea carries that tradition forward while honoring the spirit of the man who inspired so much of it.

“This theme feels incredibly special,” says co-founder “Mama Gale” Parker. “Giovanni always loved the sea. There was something about it that made him feel joyful and free, and that sense of wonder is something we’ve always tried to bring into the restaurant. For 25 years, our goal has been to create a place where people can escape, celebrate, and make memories together. Under the Sea is a tribute to that same spirit and the man behind that inspiration.”

Alongside the immersive décor, guests can expect Amore e Amore’s signature Italian cuisine paired with playful themed cocktails, creative zero-proof libations, and plenty of surprises woven throughout the dining experience. Additional details, menus, and seasonal surprises will be announced in the coming weeks.

Amore e Amore is located at 467 N. Highland Ave. NE, Atlanta, GA 30307, and is open Tuesday through Sunday beginning at 5 p.m. Kids ages 12 and under are welcome from opening until 7:30 p.m. For reservations or more information, visit www.amoreeamore.com.
