About: This Saturday, August 22, 2015, Park Tavern and PleaseRock will once again present the annual Yacht Rock Revival in The Meadow in Piedmont Park. Hitting the stage in their polyester style, wisecrack humor, Yacht Rock Revue and their special guests will once again treat music lovers to an evening filled with the smooth music of the late ‘70s and early ‘80s including spot-on renditions of everything from Hall & Oates to Huey Lewis to Prince to Christopher Cross. This year’s special guests include: Steve Augeri (former lead vocalist of Journey), Jeff Carlisi of .38 Special, Robbie Dupree (“Steal Away”), Matthew Wilder (“Break My Stride”), Peter Beckett and Ronn Moss of Player, Elliot Lurie of Looking Glass, and Walter Egan (“Magnet and Steel”).
