9TH ANNUAL CHASTAIN FALL ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL

he ninth annual Chastain Park Fall Arts Festival presented by The Atlanta Foundation For Public Spaces returns to picturesque Chastain Park in Buckhead on Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5, 2017. Featuring more than 185 talented painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft persons, glass blowers, jewelers and more, the festival will transform Chastain Park into an expansive outdoor art gallery. Festival-goers have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations, participate in hands-on art activities and enjoy live acoustic performances while taking in breathtaking fall scenery. The award-winning, two-day festival will also have a children’s area in the adjacent green space, gourmet food trucks with healthy alternatives and beverages and more. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome.

ROSE AND RYE NOW OPEN IN MIDTOWN

Rose + Rye restaurant and bar is now open in The Castle, Midtown Atlanta’s iconic mansion with a storied history at 87 15th Street NE. Three levels of dining and drinking space include multiple outdoor patios and rooms for private events. Rose + Rye is headed up by an all-female culinary and management leadership team. Open for dinner with lunch and brunch to follow, Rose + Rye serves refined American fare with a global reach. Both the food and drink menu are rooted in the season and will change often. Guests can expect creative dishes designed to please the eye and the palate, including Smoked Caesar Salad with baby kale, smoked yogurt, parmesan cookie crumble, and soft boiled egg; Seared snapper with celery root puree, Anson Mills farro, wild cherries & redux, and Chicken Mole with braised Joyce Farms chicken, crispy rice patty, and wilted kale.

MUCHACHO IN REYNOLDSTOWN IS NOW OPEN

Muchacho opened, Monday, October 16th, in Reynoldstown, and the menu is available here. The restaurant is located at 904 Memorial Drive and neighbors its upcoming sister spot, Golden Eagle, also opening this fall. Michael Lennox is the founder of Atlanta favorite Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall and is behind both Golden Eagle and Muchacho. Featuring distinct menus and design, the two restaurants are housed in a former rail depot, separated by an interior brick wall. With a nod to 70’s-era Venice Beach, Muchacho is a casual hangout following a bright color palette with tones of orange, yellow, and white. An expansive brick patio shared by Muchacho and Golden Eagle overlooks the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail and comes alive with lush, tropical plants, vintage outdoor furniture and red and white umbrellas.

FIRST ANNUAL ATLANTA FALL WINE FEST

The first annual Atlanta Fall Wine Fest will be held on Saturday, November 11th from 1-5 pm in Historic Old 4th Ward Park. We will have over 100 wines as well as a selection of beer and cider to choose from. There will be live music, a DJ, plenty of fun and games, and food will be available for purchase. Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 after 11/2. Sales tax and ticket fees will be added. The wine list will be added to the website soon.

HAUNTINGLY SEXY DAY OF THE DEAD HALLOWEEN PARTY FROM STK ATLANTA

On Saturday, October 28, 2017, monsters, vixens and vamps are invited to enjoy a sultry Halloween experience and special offerings as STK Atlanta hosts a high-energy Day of the Dead Halloween party. Kicking off the festivities at 9 p.m. and with several ticket options available, patrons will be welcomed at the popular Midtown hotspot with an open bar until 10 p.m. Partygoers are encouraged to don their favorite Halloween costumes and can dance the night away to a live DJ performance, take part in a costume contest, and enjoy surprises throughout the night.

3RD ANNUAL BOO BASH AT NORTH GEORGIA PREMIUM OUTLETS

Shoppers are in for a spooktacular celebration! North Georgia Premium Outlets is hosting the center’s third annual BOO BASH event on Saturday, October 28. Guests of all ages are invited to cool off with a King of Pops popsicle as they join the center for festive face painting, balloon animals and Trick-or-Treating at participating stores. To make these memories last, a Halloween photo booth will be available for guests to snap their spookiest pictures. Shoppers who donate $5 to Susan G. Komen will also receive a More Than Pink pumpkin to decorate on-site.

17th Annual Little 5 Points Halloween Parade and Festival

The Little 5 Points Halloween Festival & Parade is the signature Halloween festival in the southeast and one of the top ten Halloween events in the country. It is staged in Little 5 Points, Atlanta’s premiere business, arts, and music district. 2017 Decatur Craft Beer Festival

On October 21st from Noon to 5 pm, enjoy an afternoon of beer tasting on the square in downtown Decatur, Georgia. More than 100 of the finest local, American Craft beers are showcased at this annual event sponsored by area distributors and Decatur’s restaurants and pubs. Enjoy live music and food from local restaurants available for sale. Each general admission ticket ($50) includes a special tasting glass and unlimited sips from more than 80 breweries. Three bands take the stage throughout the afternoon, and a DJ keeps things jumping between sets. Splurge for a VIP ticket and be a beer hero.
