LADYBIRD 2ND ANNIVERSARY AND END OF SUMMER BEACH BASH

Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward is celebrating its 2nd anniversary with an END-OF-SUMMER BEACH BASH, this Sunday, September 18th, at 4pm. Visit for grilled bites, beachy punches, hard-to-find brews from Creature Comforts Brewing Co., live bluegrass, and beach balls. Open to the Public.

6TH ANNUAL GREAT ATLANTA BEER FEST

Atlanta Beer Festivals will host the 6th and last Great Atlanta Beer Fest at Turner Field. This year’s festival will be Saturday, October 8, 2016, 1-6pm. Since the Braves will finish their season on October 2, we will be drinking beer on the field! We will feature 150+ different beers to sample from Atlanta, the Southeast, and all over America. We are adding a small selection of wines this year, and we’ll also have a healthy list of ciders available. Your ticket price includes a souvenir cup, entertainment, and all of your beer samples.

5TH ANNUAL BROOKHAVEN CHILI COOK OFF

On Saturday, October 8th comes the 5th annual Brookhaven Chili Cook Off held starting at 12:30pm at Brookhaven Park. Taste 75+ Chili & Brunswick Stew Restaurant & Amateur Competition Teams, family friendly festival in heart of Brookhaven, and live Music & DJ. $2500 in Prizes & Awards for Top Amateur Teams, Restaurant Teams, Most Spirited Team & People’s Choice! Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade 2016

On Saturday, September 10th comes the 7th annual Atlanta BeltLine Lantern Parade following the Old Fourth Ward Fall Festival. Parade line-up will begin at 7:15 on Irwin Avenue at the start of the Eastside Trail. They will step-off at 8:15 and finish in Piedmont Park at Park Tavern. The Lantern Parade kicks-off the season of Art on the Atlanta BeltLine, the largest public art exhibit in the southeast! The BeltLine reported 60,000 folks participating and attending in 2015. Yes, you need a lantern to walk in the parade. No dogs, bikes ok, and no flying lanterns. Beyond the lantern, they have several bands coming back including, Wasted Potential Brass Band, The Seed & Feed Marching Abominable, Black Sheep Ensemble, Atlanta Freedom Bands, Common Ground Collective, and joining us this year from France, Moz Drums! This is a free event.

BBQ, Bluegrass, and ASW Distillery’s First Bottle Release

Join ASW Distillery for BBQ, Bluegrass, and our first Bottle Release the afternoon of Saturday, September 10! They’ll be ushering in the fall with Fox Bros. BBQ, live bluegrass, and the public release of Atlanta’s first-ever single malt, the first spirit distilled in their Scottish-style twin copper pot stills. ASW Distillery crafted this single malt using 100% malted rye, with each bottle individually numbered by batch and bottle and signed by the team. This one-time-only release offers a taste of delicious chocolate, hazelnut & pepper notes before the single malt spends time maturing in new American oak casks to become what may very well be the quintessential Southern single malt whiskey. Not to mention, each ticket comes with a tour of the production area, including our gorgeous, hand-hammered copper pot stills and our rickhouse full of new American oak casks.
