This event will take place on two exclusive dates, October 24th and October 25th, at 6:30pm. Celebrate the holiday season at Amore e Amore in the heart of Inman Park, where Mama Gale and Professor Giovanni will once again transform their beloved Italian ristorante into a whimsical winter wonderland from Wednesday, November 6, 2024 through Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024. Every corner of the restaurant will be adorned with festive decorations and seasonal delights, creating a magical atmosphere for all. Local Chefs and Restaurants Join Forces for Collaborative Dinner Benefiting World Central Kitchen

Sweet Auburn Barbecue is stepping up to help Asheville recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. On Monday, October 7th, starting at 5 p.m., the beloved Poncey-Highland barbecue spot will host the Asheville Hurricane Relief Dinner, bringing together some of Atlanta’s top chefs and restaurants for a night of incredible food, all for a great cause. Tickets are $50, with 100% of the proceeds going to World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit dedicated to providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises around the world.

At the event, where every plate supports Ashville’s recovery, guests can expect a buffet-style feast featuring Smoked Peruvian Chicken by Howard Hsu of Sweet Auburn Barbecue and James Beard-nominated Chef Arnaldo Castillo of Tio Lucho’s. THE VILLAGE DUNWOODY’S 3-2-1 ANNIVERSARY

Funwoody is delighted to announce a grand 3, 2, 1 Anniversary celebration taking place on November 8. Dash Hospitality Group plans to commemorate BAR{n} Booze & Bites’ third year of Cheers-style toasts to the neighborhood, Morty’s Meat & Supply’s second year of flowing brews and delicious BBQ, and Message In A Bottle’s first year of coastal vibes. David Abes, owner of Dash Hospitality Group, “It’s been an amazing journey opening all these restaurants and [the] food truck. Every day, my team and I love seeing the smiling faces of our guests from Dunwoody and beyond!” The event will mark another year of culinary excellence and community gathering in the heart of Dunwoody.

     Starting from 7 PM, the courtyard will transform into a lively festival, featuring delectable dishes, a live DJ, and much more! All the restaurants will be open and ready to go for the attendees. DJ Coco will be spinning all night on the big stage with classic hits from the 70s to now! Funwoody, partnered with Tucker Brewing, will launch their, “BAR{n} Brew Lager,” which will release that evening.

THE WALDORF ASTORIA ATLANTA BUCKHEAD TO HOST OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION

Luxury Buckhead Hotel Presents “Prost in the Garden: Waldorf Astoria Oktoberfest” featuring Three Days of Live Entertainment and German-inspired Festivities and Fare 

This October, The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead will transport Atlantans to Munich during a three-day-long Oktoberfest celebration, brimming with German cuisine, live music and themed activities for guests. On October 11, 12, and 13 from 4:00-8:00 p.m., the award-winning hotel will transform its enchanting, private outdoor space into a tent-covered biergarten fit for the Prost in the Garden: Waldorf Astoria Oktoberfest affair. 

Guests can dance to the sounds of local German bands while sipping on specialty radlers with weisse beer and peach nectar, and, in true Oktoberfest fashion, plenty of ale. Led by newly-appointed Executive Chef Bermyson Dorvil, the hotel’s culinary team will present attendees with German cuisine curated for this celebration, including Smoked Bratwurst Sausage with pickled sauerkraut and dill paprika aioli; Potato Pancake complemented by candied bacon, chive and beer cheese; Salted Pretzels with spinach and artichoke and dijon aioli; and Apple Streusel topped with bourbon ice cream. 

Festivities include Oktoberfest Trivia and a raffle where winners can receive grand prizes like a 1-night hotel stay or a 50-minute massage at the renowned Waldorf Astoria Spa. Guests are invited to wear their favorite trachten (traditional German clothing and accessories), like dirndl dresses and lederhosen, immersing themselves in the traditions of Oktoberfest. 

Tickets to Prost in the Garden: Waldorf Astoria Oktoberfest cost $75++ per person, including admission, themed activations, Oktoberfest-inspired fare and one beverage ticket. Guests can purchase tickets via Tock, and a cash bar will be available additionally.

Farewell, Feed Me Lino — Friday, September 13, 2024 from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Chef Lino Yi, formerly known for his Korean-American pop-up TKO and now recognized for the FML pop-up, is heading to the West Coast, and Sweet Auburn is sending him off with a proper celebration. Staying open late, the Poncey-Highland haunt will be serving up Chef Lino’s Kimchi Stew alongside a 6-wing basket and fries for $15, Soju Jell-O shots, and more, all available until 1:30 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024.

UGA vs. Kentucky Watch Party — Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, September 14th, Sweet Auburn has an evening chalked full of events. Can’t be in Lexington to cheer on the Dawgs? Call the Dawgs with fellow UGA fans at UGA alumni-owned Sweet Auburn for a watch party as the Bulldogs face off against the Kentucky Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. The Saturday In Athens Podcast will host a pregame show starting at 6:30 p.m., with game poster giveaways, raffles, and a variety of food and drink options to enjoy throughout the night.

Get Gaming with Cartridge ATL — Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. For those looking to keep the fun going on Saturday, Cartridge ATL is popping up with gaming systems in tow. Virginia Highland District is excited to announce the return of its popular weekly Farmers Market, starting on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at the Virginia-Highland Elementary School. The market, proudly presented by the Wheeler family, will be held each Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. through Nov. 17, showcasing a vibrant array of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and handcrafted items from local vendors.

AMORE E AMORE UNLEASHES A NIGHTMARE ON HIGHLAND THIS FALL

Revel in the Spookiest Time of Year With Chills, Thrills, a Halloween Bash and Two Costume Contests

The countdown to Halloween is on at Amore e Amore. Beginning now and through the month of October, guests will be treated to a Halloween-themed pop-up, filled with eerie decor, spine-tingling treats, and wickedly delicious Italian cuisine curated by Professor Giovanni, specialty cocktails and much more. The grand finale? Not one, but two high-energy Halloween parties, complete with costume contests, a DJ spinning spooky tunes, and plenty of bone-chilling surprises, on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
