ATLANTA’S ESTEEMED ATLAS RESTAURANT WELCOMES CHEF MICHAEL ELÉGBÈDÉ TO OFFER EXCLUSIVE FOUR-NIGHT CULINARY EXPERIENCE

In the Next Installment of the Four Hands Collaborative Dinner Series,
Atlas Will Host the Nigerian-Born Chef from July 19 – 22
 

 Known for its elevated dining experiences, Atlas, located at the St. Regis in Atlanta, continues to lead the way in Atlanta’s culinary scene. In a continuation of its Four Hands Collaborative Dinner Series, Atlas Underground will host award-winning Chef Michael Elégbèdé for a four-night tasting menu experience from Wednesday, July 19 through Saturday, July 22.
 
“I am honored to have the opportunity to work alongside Chef Elégbèdé,” said Atlas & Garden Room Culinary Director Freddy Money. “I’m looking forward to learning, sharing, and collaborating together as we produce a stunning and tasteful dining experience for our guests.”
 
A Nigerian native and third-generation chef, Michael Elégbèdé has revolutionized traditional Nigerian gastronomy through his philosophy of celebrating his indigenous food, traditions, and ingredients. Chef Michael studied at the Culinary Institute of America, Greystone, and trained at two of the world’s leading restaurants – Eleven Madison Park and Nomad.
 
Since then, Elégbèdé has gone on to found Abòri, an organization aiming to facilitate the continual development of the Nigerian culinary space, and open ÌTÀN T.K, which offers an exciting tasting menu and wine pairings in his hometown of Lagos. ÌTÀN was listed as one of the best places to eat in the world by La Listé in 2022, and in the same year, Chef Michael received a World’s 50 Best Next Award. Chef Elégbèdé’s work in Nigerian gastronomy has also been recognized by the James Beard Foundation, Chefs’ Manifesto, Dangote, CNN, BBC, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations.
 
The Four Hands Dinner with Chef Michael Elégbèdé will take place in Atlas Underground, Atlas’s exclusive summer experience located in the Maisonette Room of the St. Regis Buckhead. At $220/person, guests can expect four nights of culinary artistry, featuring an exquisite tasting menu experience inspired by the traditional ingredients of Nigerian cuisine. Reservations are now open and can be made here with seating options open from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Guests may enter Atlas Underground through the Maisonette front entrance located to the right of the hotel valet as they arrive, or from the hotel lobby, by using the hallway to the right of the Salon.

The Award-Winning Restaurant Welcomes Michelin Star Guest Chef Nicolai Tram
to Collaborate With Executive Chef Freddy Money Throughout the Month

 
Known for its elevated dining experiences, Atlas, located at the St. Regis in Atlanta, continues to lead the way in Atlanta’s culinary scene. This November, it plans to continue its Four Hands Collaborative Dinner Series, along with introducing a brand new dining series, Atlas Away. Both events will feature Atlas’s Executive Chef Freddy Money and Michelin Star Guest Chef Nicolai Tram from Knystaforsen in Sweden.
 
“I am thrilled for the opportunity to work alongside Chef Tram,” said Chef Money. “Working together, collaborating on food and shared experiences, will no doubt produce a dining experience unlike any other, and I’m excited for the opportunity to share that with guests.”
 
The Four Hands Dinner, hosted at Atlas, will be held Nov. 16-18, from 5-10 p.m. At $250/person, guests can expect three nights of unforgettable cuisine with a menu offering a taste of the forests of Sweden and each course highlighting the freshest ingredients from the natural surroundings. On Nov. 19, guests have the chance to attend the first official Atlas Away. A new venture, this exciting event is meant to recreate the Atlas experience in unexpected locations both near and far. The first Atlas Away will be held in the woods at Chattahoochee Hills, with well-known Atlantan Dominique Love, enjoying the wooded backdrop of CERES, a soon-to-launch culinary community. Cooked over an open fire, paying homage to the concept behind Chef Tram’s restaurant in Sweden, the dinner is $460/person (including tax + gratuity) and takes place from 3-7 p.m., featuring local ingredients and holistically sourced products to showcase the Nordic cuisine. Guests will be seated at outside tables surrounding the chefs, offering a dining experience like no other.
