Multi-Week Summer Experience Kicks off June 9 and Runs Through Aug. 9

Thompson Atlanta – Buckhead, a luxury lifestyle hotel in the heart of Buckhead, is proud to announce its role as the official host hotel for Fashionista Camp 2025 beginning June 9, with the first week sold out! Designed for aspiring fashionistas ages 8 to 18, the camp provides a one-of-a-kind immersive experience centered around fashion, design, styling, sustainability, health, beauty, and mindfulness.

As the host hotel, the property will serve as a sleek and stylish home base for select camp events, intimate workshops, and pop-up experiences throughout the summer. With its fashion-forward aesthetic, vibrant art collection, and commitment to community engagement, the hotel is the ideal partner for a camp focused on inspiring the next generation of creatives.

“Thompson Atlanta – Buckhead is more than just a hotel – it’s a space where culture, creativity, and connections come to life especially for local entrepreneurs and the local community,” said DeMarco McMillan, Director of Sales & Marketing of Thompson Atlanta – Buckhead. “We’re honored to support Marian’s Fashionista Camp and help cultivate young talent through meaningful and memorable experiences.”

Held in the heart of Atlanta, Fashionista Camp is more than a style bootcamp – it’s a mission-driven movement to inspire creativity, build confidence, and give back. Fashionista Camp began as a pilot in 2023 and is returning this year as a multi-week experience. Through age-appropriate weekly programming filled with hands-on learning and industry insight, campers will gain early exposure to the fashion industry while discovering their own unique voices and personal style.

“With Thompson Atlanta – Buckhead’s commitment to community outreach and its impeccable sense of style and design, it’s the perfect place to inspire creativity and nurture the fashionable spirit of our budding fashionistas,” said Marian Goldberg, Founder of Fashionista Camp and Thompson Atlanta – Buckhead Advisory Board Member.

Each week of camp is tailored to age-specific groups, with Weeks 1 (June 9-13 | SOLD OUT) and 3 (July 7-11) designed for younger participants; Weeks 2 (June 23-27) and 4 (July 21-25) focused on older campers, and Week 5 (Aug. 4-8) open to ages 8-18.  Weekly activities may include tours of the SCAD Museum, walk-throughs of Phipps Plaza, storyboarding, sewing workshops, scent blending, yoga and mindfulness practices, luxury brand history, sustainable fashion lessons, expert guidance from industry professionals across fashion, design, and wellness and more – all culminating in an end of summer fashion show on Saturday, Aug. 9 for campers of all ages.

Fashionista Camp is built on the belief that creativity knows no bounds, and every child deserves the opportunity to grow in confidence, independence, and style. As part of its community mission, the camp encourages nominations for campers who would love to attend but face financial barriers.
