Once viewed as a burgeoning new festival filling a void in the Southeast, Imagine Music Festival now celebrates its 5th Anniversary as one of the nation’s most anticipated electronic dance music events. Preparing for its biggest year to date, Imagine has released the first phase of its lineup which includes some of the biggest and most exciting talent from around the globe. Returning to Atlanta Motor Speedway in Atlanta, Georgia on September 21 through 23, 2018, the first round of headliners for the highly-anticipated music and camping festival include:  Armin Van BuurenAlessoGalantisRL GrimeZeds Dead and special guest: Adventure Club. With still more headliners to be announced, this initial collection of top tier names are joined by over 40 additional artists.

Returning to Atlanta Motor Speedway for a third straight year this September 21-23, 2018, with early admission available on Thursday, Imagine continues to grow into the expansive venue further embracing the aquatic theme that runs throughout. Never ones to rest on their laurels, Imagine will be presenting fans with increased upgrades, based on feedback from its 2017 attendees. Imagine will continue to improve on the guest experience with more camping activities and services, additional entry and exits gates, improved VIP area, more custom stage designs and overall improvements to the site that will create better flow and shorter wait times. Throughout the aquatic wonderland there will be no shortage of aquatic creatures, dancers, cirque acts, art, workshops, the return of the Imagine pool and of course an even bigger and better lineup. As one of the country’s last remaining independent festivals, Imagine creates an all-encompassing, 360-degree sensory experience that blends music, circus troupes, performers, dancers, art, workshops, classes and more.

CITY WINERY ANNOUNCES CULINARY AND BEVERAGE EVENTS FOR MAY

A Month-Long Forager’s Feast, a Chardonnay Celebration, Five-Course Wine and Food Pairing, and More! 

 

City Winery, a restaurant, urban winery, private event space and intimate music venue, has released its May lineup of culinary and beverage events at the popular Atlanta location in Ponce City Market. Atlantans and visitors alike can take advantage of an array of mouthwatering opportunities including wine samplings and a seated seminar, a wine pairing dinner with American Airlines, weekly specials culled from local farms created by Executive Chef Nick Anderson and more this May.

 

On May 23rd, City Winery and American Airlines presents another installment of the First Class International Pairing Series. The event features wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Pacific Northwest, paired with a regionally-inspired, five-course menu curated by Executive Chef Nick Anderson.  Guests are automatically entered into a drawing to win two roundtrip tickets to any international destination serviced by American Airlines.  Starts 7 p.m. Tickets are $60 plus applicable fees.

 

On May 24th, join City Winery for a Sip, Paint & Socialize session with Tipsy Topics & Textures. Participants are invited to unleash their inner artist while indulging in the smoothest wine and engaging in a Tipsy Topic as their masterpiece unfolds. Starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 plus applicable fees.

With panoramic views of Atlanta, The Regent Cocktail Club, atop LDV’s American Cut, is a go-to spot for Buckhead nightlife. They pride themselves on crafting the perfect cocktail for your mood, as well as offering a mix of traditional and rum drinks inspired by Havana Nights. Some of the cocktail menu offerings include the Black Dahlia with Tito’s, elderflower, blackberry, and lemon, as well as a Sazerac, plus a cocktail named Southside of the Border with Avion Silver, mint, line, and bubbles. Event to Celebrate Atlanta’s Diverse Food & Beverage Community with Proceeds Benefiting Local Refugee Charities

Atlanta craft brewery Second Self Beer Company and artisan butcher shop Pine Street Market are teaming up on Sunday, September 16th to host “Feed Diversity: Building a Bigger Table,” an event highlighting Atlanta’s diverse restaurant community. Friends Jason Santamaria of Second Self Beer and Rusty Bowers of Pine Street Market came up with the idea while discussing the global refugee crisis and the vast contributions of local refugees in building Atlanta’s food and beverage scene. The event will take place on Sunday, September 16th from 1-5pm at Second Self Beer Company on the Westside (1317 Logan Circle NW). Tickets are available for $28 per person (food only) or $42 per person (food and three pints).

 

Celebrating the rich cultural fabric that has shaped the food and beverage industry, Feed Diversity aims to raise awareness and funds for local refugee charities Global Growers and Friends of Refugees. The outdoor tasting event will feature Second Self pours and a pig roast and grilled chicken from Chef Andre Gomez of Porch Light Latin Kitchen in collaboration with Riverview Farms, Springer Mountain Farms and Big Green Egg. There will also be bites from Hyatt Regency, King of Pops, Saltyard, The Shed at Glenwood, South of Heaven BBQ, Steinbeck’s Ale House, and Taiyo Ramen. Refuge Coffee Co., which serves the global community in Clarkston through coffee-related job creation, job training, social networking and commerce, will also serve coffee beverages from their espresso cart.

About: Slingin’ Wings Festival is back for another year of our seriously saucy wing and beer festival! Join us on Saturday, May 12th, for Slingin’ Wings Festival where restaurants from all over the ATL will be slingin’ chicken wings for your tasting pleasure! Some of these restaurants include everyone from HOBNOB, Wing Factory, and Hudson Grill to Gilly’s and Smoke Ring. In addition to a full day of good eats, we’ve got an awesome lineup of frosty brews, live local music, plus wing eating contests and all your favorite tailgate games. Tickets are $15 for General Admission in advance and $20 at the door, while the Wing Lover’s Ticket is $35 in advance. The GA ticket includes entry to the festival, access to food, live music, and bars, as well as a People’s Choice voter’s ballot ad (4) wing vouchers. Wing Lover’s Ticket includes everything from the GA ticket plus (11) more wing vouchers and a 16oz souvenir tumbler. Looking for more than a taste? Not to worry! Chastain Park Spring Arts & Crafts Festival 2018

About: The Chastain Park Spring Arts Festival will return to beautiful Chastain  Park along Park Drive in Buckhead for its ninth rendition on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday May 13, 2018. An ideal spot to take Mom this Mother’s Day, the award-winning, two-day festival features more than 185 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft artisans, glass blowers, jewelers and more.  Produced by the Foundation for Public Spaces, event goers are also invited to view artist demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment, and participate in hands-on activities.  The festival will also have a children’s area, food trucks, beverages and a small stage for live acoustic music performances. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome.
