Posted by Liz and John Attaway, 5/14/18

A Month-Long Forager’s Feast, a Chardonnay Celebration, Five-Course Wine and Food Pairing, and More!

City Winery, a restaurant, urban winery, private event space and intimate music venue, has released its May lineup of culinary and beverage events at the popular Atlanta location in Ponce City Market. Atlantans and visitors alike can take advantage of an array of mouthwatering opportunities including wine samplings and a seated seminar, a wine pairing dinner with American Airlines, weekly specials culled from local farms created by Executive Chef Nick Anderson and more this May.

On May 23rd, City Winery and American Airlines presents another installment of the First Class International Pairing Series. The event features wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Pacific Northwest, paired with a regionally-inspired, five-course menu curated by Executive Chef Nick Anderson.  Guests are automatically entered into a drawing to win two roundtrip tickets to any international destination serviced by American Airlines.  Starts 7 p.m. Tickets are $60 plus applicable fees.

On May 24th, join City Winery for a Sip, Paint & Socialize session with Tipsy Topics & Textures. Participants are invited to unleash their inner artist while indulging in the smoothest wine and engaging in a Tipsy Topic as their masterpiece unfolds. Starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 plus applicable fees.

Throughout May, City Winery is participating in the Forager’s Feast, an event designed to support Georgia’s food community by using locally-harvested food.  Each week, Executive Chef Nick Anderson creates a new dish that includes “foraged” ingredients, like mint, wild violets, gooseberries, mushrooms, and more.  To make reservations at The Barrel Room Restaurant, visit citywinery.com/atlanta.

May’s Wine of the Month is the “Capital South” Chardonnay, available for $4 off bottles all month in The Barrel Room Restaurant.
