CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH OF BELVEDERE 007 SPECTRE VODKA AT STK

Get shaken, not stirred at STK Atlanta on Thursday, October 22, 2015 when Belvedere, the world’s original luxury vodka, will showcase the Belvedere 007 SPECTRE limited editions in celebration of its partnership with the highly anticipated 24th Bond adventure, SPECTRE. In celebration of the partnership, Belvedere and STK will host an unforgettable evening. From 6 to 9 p.m., partygoers are invited to mix and mingle in STK’s stylish lounge while enjoying specialty Bond-themed vodka cocktails including the 007 Martini, Double O, Spectre 007 Martini and the Spectre 007 for $7. Guests will also enjoy exclusive video trailers from the movie, DJ, complimentary passed appetizers created by Executive Chef Mark Alba and more. Proceeds from all Bond-themed vodka cocktails will benefit The Giving Kitchen, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that provides emergency assistance grants to Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.

PARTY TIME WITH QUEEN OF CREAM

This Friday, October 23rd from 7-11pm, the newly opened Queen of Cream Ice Cream & Coffee Parlor (701 Highland Ave. NE) in Old Fourth Ward will be hosting a celebration for the release of their winter dessert menu. This is open to the public.

HALLOWEEN HORROR STORY CIRCUS: CYPRESS STREET PINT & PLATE AND GRAIN TO HOST

This Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2015, chilling freaks, eerie clowns, and intimidating ringmasters are inviting ghoulish revelers to get into double trouble at the Horror Story Circus, a gruesomely, fantastic evening hosted by Midtown hotspots Cypress Street Pint and Plate and GRAIN. Kicking off at both locations at 8 p.m., partygoers donned in their best Halloween attire will be entertained by an array of twisted acts from the The Imperial OPA Circus, including fortunetellers, fire throwers, magicians, aerialists, hand-to-hand duos, and more. From 9 to 10 p.m., both haunts will be serving up complimentary appetizers while DJs set the spooky soundtrack for the evening. Open to ages 21 and up only, ticket holders are also invited to enjoy a complimentary Rouge Ale & Spirits Dead Guy draft beer at Cypress and a complimentary Dead Guy Whiskey cocktail at GRAIN.

LADYBIRD POTLUCK TO BENEFIT H2SR WORKERS

Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall & The Giving Kitchen will be hosting a potluck dinner to benefit former Here to Serve Restaurant Group workers, this Monday, October 19th, from 3–8pm. There will be live music and food provided by Ladybird, Ford Fry’s Rocket Farm restaurants, Leon’s Full Service, Craft Izakaya, Seven Lamps, and many others. Former Here to Serve employees will eat for free, and other diners will be able to donate to a special fund for Here to Serve workers from The Giving Kitchen – a non-profit charity that provides emergency assistance grants to restaurant workers in metro Atlanta facing unanticipated hardship.

BOCADO’S 6TH ANNIVERSARY!

On Wednesday, October 21st, BOCADO restaurant on Atlanta’s Westside is celebrating their SIXTH anniversary! In addition to their regular menu, BOCADO will be offering HUGE SPECIALS for dinner, starting at 5:30pm.

Fourth Annual L5P Halloween Parade

On Saturday, October 17th, The 2015 L5P Festival and Parade invades Little Five Points for a fun day of parade and costumed shenanigans. The festival runs from noon to 11pm with floats from the parade on display, and the parade hits Euclid at 4pm and goes about 2 hours. The festivities will consist of live entertainment on two stages, great food selections and shopping from local artisans who, along with the area businesses, provide a wide variety of offerings for festival attendees. This is a FREE event. Fun required.

Marietta Zombie Walk 2015

On Saturday, October 17th, the Marietta Zombie Walk starts it’s 5th year stumbling it’s way down the streets of Marietta Square. The Infestation (Gathering) starts at 5 pm in Glover Park. The Feeding (Walk) starts promptly at 6 pm. This is an event for charity! All proceeds and collected food from the Marietta Zombie Walk goes directly to MUST Ministries in their mission to help local humans in need. So get zombiefied and stumble your way down the street this Saturday. This event is FREE, just bring food for MUST Ministries or a cash donation is welcome.
