Coming off the heels of its recent announcement, the gathering by music lovers for music lovers, returning to Foxhall Resort in metro Atlanta June 17 and 18, 2022, Lost Art Music Festival gives fans more to look forward to as it rounds out its lineup. New to previously announced artists: Durand Jones & The Indications, Paul Cauthen, The Lone Below, Southern Avenue, Margo Cilker, and Gabe Lee is the addition of Americana fan favorites  Rayland Baxter and Aaron Tasjan, who performed at last year’s Lost Art. Presented by Cathead Distillery, the two-day event attracts fans from across the Southeast to celebrate the heritage of Americana music through high energy performances, hand-picked vendors in the artist market, food trucks, immersive experiences, and more.
This year, the festival has cultivated a lineup that is eclectic and lively Americana, captivating songwriters influenced by everything from retro soul and roots to folk and outlaw country.  Artists-by-Day include:

Afternoon Rooftop Culinary Adventure Explores Different Mediterranean Regions with Rotating Food and Drink Features

Starting April 24th and every Sunday!

Gypsy Kitchen invites guests to explore exciting Mediterranean destinations during its new Under the Mediterranean Sun Sunday series starting April 24. Each Sunday afternoon on the Buckhead Village eatery’s spacious rooftop patio, Gypsy Kitchen’s chefs embark on a culinary adventure featuring food and beverages from a region of the Mediterranean and music from a flamenco guitarist. Specials from each region will be available every Sunday for six weeks at a time.

The first stop on April 24 is Morocco showcasing a celebration of Moroccan-inspired bites and beverages including:

  • Marrakesh Trio ($14) – zaalouk and olive, charred onion labneh, harissa and pepper relish with toasted sesame babari bread. Add hummus for an additional $8.
  • Honey Roasted Sumac Carrots ($15) – turmeric couscous, cashew cheese, and smoked cinnamon citronette
  • The Casablanca ($14) – white wine, tequila, smoked cinnamon blanc vermouth, pineapple, amaro, and Moroccan-spiced rim
  • Tangier Sunset ($40, shareable serving for four) – vodka, elderflower, watermelon, cucumber, and habanero honey

Patio weather is here, and Oliva Restaurant Group is ready to celebrate with drink specials and music! Rina, the casual, Israeli, diner-style eatery inspired by beach restaurants in Haifi, Israel and located alongside the Atlanta Beltline’s Eastside Trail, and Aziza, the Westside Provisions Division District spot offering modern Israeli cuisine, will both host a series of patio parties throughout the season to celebrate warm weather, good drinks and flavorful moments with friends and family.

 

Held the first and third Thursdays of the month beginning April 21, Rina’s Low Tide Patio Parties will welcome guests to party on the patio from 6-9pm. Guests will be able to enjoy specials on beachy, tropical cocktails, High Noon, beer and an Arak & beer special, all alongside beats from a DJ.

with Tropical Décor, Refreshing Drinks, and Island Bites

The Blind Pig Parlour Bar dives into summer with another immersive pop-up designed to whisk guests away to an alluring tropical island state of mind. The Playa Pig will serve up tropical chic, jungle disco vibes inspired by Tulum, Mexico, along with tempting drinks and a menu of Yucatan-themed bites.

The Buckhead speakeasy will rearrange its Victorian décor to entice those longing to get away to a wild, wanderlust escape. Guests can look forward to creative, refreshing cocktails served with treats and sweets inspired by the unmistakable flavors of the tropics.

Food items will include:

  • Al pastor empanadas with pineapple marmelada
  • Florida rock shrimp fritters with Meyer lemon aioli
  • Tropical fruit parfait with coconut chia seed pudding and macadamia gravel

LINGERING SHADE INTRODUCES UNPLUGGED WEDNESDAYS ON THE BELTLINE

Kicks-off Wednesday, March 16!

In celebration of National Unplugged Day on March 4, Lingering shade, Atlanta’s go-to cocktail bar located on the beltline, is pleased to introduce Unplugged Wednesdays. Kicking off on March 16th, Unplugged Wednesdays present an opportunity for guests to disconnect from technology, focusing on the present moment, along with spending quality time with friends and loved ones.

“Now more than ever, it’s incredibly important to prioritize wellness and authentic connections with colleagues, friends and family,” said Spencer Patton, General Manager of Lingering Shade. “While the concept seems foreign in today’s time, I believe that stepping away from cell phones, even for a short amount of time, will be refreshing and beneficial to our guests.”

Unplugged Wednesdays will take place every third Wednesday of the month. Upon entering Lingering Shade, guests will check in and hand their cell phones over to staff, who will store them safely until departure. Each week during Unplugged Wednesdays, Lingering Shade will debut an off-the-menu specialty cocktail for $9, starting with the Kir Royale on March 16th. Perfect for celebrating great company and conversation, the Kir Royale is a champagne-based cocktail with crème de cassis. In addition to specialty cocktails and an extensive selection of beer, wine and liquors, bar-goers can enjoy a variety of delectable shareable items such as Pimento Cheese Crab Dip, Caramelized Vidalia Onion Dip or Pigs in A Blanket. Lastly, pups will not be left out on Unplugged Wednesdays, and can enjoy the homemade Lingering Shade Dog Biscuit. 5CHURCH MIDTOWN’S SUNDAY SERVICE IS BACK!

Famous for its “Stay Sexy Atlanta” neon sign and incredible skyline views, Virtue Rooftop welcomes guests to soak in the sun at Sunday Service with a buffet of light brunch bites, a rotating lineup of live musicians and DJs, and cocktail features.

“Virtue Rooftop was made for Atlanta’s amazing spring weather,” says Ayman Kamel, principal of 5Church Midtown. “Our lively Sunday Service is a fun opportunity for guests to gather with friends to experience the hottest rooftop brunch party our city has to offer.”

Sunday Service is held one Sunday each month, and guests 21 and over are invited to arrive dressed to impress for the red-carpet entrance and event photographer. Offering an upbeat atmosphere perfect for celebrating any day of the week, Virtue Rooftop is enclosed and temperature-controlled with patio access overlooking bustling Peachtree Street in Midtown. Tickets to Sunday Service are $25 per person and can be purchased at the door (no presales). Tickets include a buffet of light brunch bites and entertainment. Drinks from Virtue Rooftop’s full cocktail menu—including the popular Holy Water made with Four Roses bourbon, sweet tea, lemon juice, blackberries, mint, and blue agave—may be purchased separately.
