Chef Nahm Celebrates 20 Years of Hospitality, Artistry, and Connection with the Return of a Beloved Tasting Experience
American Soils Thursday, July 9 at 6pm
Twenty years ago, Chef Nahm arrived in America with a dream to share the beauty, artistry, and culture of Thailand through food. Today, that dream has a name, a home, and twenty years of memories to show for it.
As NAHM Fine Thai Cuisine (5310 Windward Pkwy W, Alpharetta, GA 30004) marks its twentieth anniversary, Chef Nahm has been awarded the Thai SELECT Two-Star designation by the Thai Ambassador one of the highest honors bestowed by Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce to restaurants worldwide upholding the authenticity and integrity of Thai cuisine.
The recognition doesn’t stop there. NAHM has also earned a Wine Spectator Award, the OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award, Atlanta’s Best 2024, and Best of North Atlanta 2024 a testament to twenty years of unwavering dedication to excellence.
To mark the occasion, Chef Nahm is relaunching The Art of Pairing an immersive tasting series where exceptional wines, thoughtful pairings, and meaningful stories meet around the table.
The season opens with American Soils on Thursday, July 9, at 6 pm. In honor of America’s 250th birthday, the evening travels coast to coast through the country’s most celebrated wine regions, with each pour guided by the team at Prime Wine & Spirits, Tim Stovall, Vas Sanchez, and Kevin O’Sullivan and complemented by tasting plates crafted by Chef Nahm.
The evening also celebrates two collaborators whose American dreams mirror her own. Andrew Centofante of North American Sake Brewery turned a personal vision into reality handcrafting sake on American soil to share the beauty of Japanese brewing culture. His selection, Serenity, will be featured as a special pour. Joining him is Atlanta-based Yuri Miyoshi, Japanese calligraphy artist and Brand Ambassador for North American Sake Brewery, who brought her art to America and made it her own. Her presence adds a rare and beautiful layer to the evening.
American Soils is ultimately a celebration of dreams realized in the kitchen, in the glass, and on the page.
“For us, hospitality has always been about creating moments of connection,” says Chef Nahm. “The Art of Pairing allows us to bring people together through storytelling, flavor, and discovery to slow down, learn something new, and experience how thoughtfully chosen wines and food can transform an evening.”
