ATLANTA TO HOST THE RED BULL DANCE YOUR STYLE NATIONAL FINAL THIS WEEKEND

The National Final to be held at Underground Atlanta on the 18th, with a full weekend of events beforehand featuring some of the biggest names in the world of dance 

WHAT:                The Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final is coming to Atlanta on May 18. The global all-styles, 1v1 street dance event series will see the best dancers in the country compete for a chance to head to the World Final in Mumbai.  

Through a bracket-style tournament, dancers battle one-on-one to surprise music selections, showcasing the spontaneous nature of street dance and challenging competitors to adapt their moves on the spot. With no planned choreography, pre-selected music, or a panel of judges, dancers must win the crowd’s vote in order to advance to the next round.

Various workshops will also be held, led by some of the best dancers in the world, that are open to the general public for registration for while spots last. On Friday the 17th, there will be a Battle Royale at the Center Stage Theater, with 2v2 battles and a major Team USA vs. Team Africa headlining battle that you won’t want to miss. WHO:                 On Saturday night ATL rap icons Soulja Boy and Dem Franchize Boyz will performing and rocking the crowd at the National Final. The crowd can also expect showcase dance performances from professional dance stars such as Toosie, creator of the viral Toosie Slide, and 1v1 battles featuring the best dancers from around the country.  

All weekend long, the city’s rich and storied dance culture will be celebrated with even more amazing talent participating throughout the weekend, including Red Bull Dance Your Style USA Champion The Crown, and major dance stars like Kaffy, Ladia Yates, Honey Balenciaga, Hooliboy and Toyin.  On the music side, South African DJ duo TxC are coming all the way to the States to deliver an after-party DJ set at the Royale.   

On the 18th the National Final will feature regional champions, runners-up, and a line-up of invited dancers (wildcards)
