Gather to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo, March for Babies & the Highly Anticipated Museum of Illusions Opening
Have no fear, May is here! With schools getting out and the weather heating up, we can’t wait to be outside all season long. This month, some of the city’s best happenings will take place at Atlantic Station, in addition to several kid-friendly programs, making Atlantic Station the place to be.
This month will also feature the grand opening of the Museum of Illusions on-site at Atlantic Station, offering visitors an interactive and immersive journey through the world of optical illusions and mystifying puzzles with over 80 exhibits to explore.
“We have all kinds of fun in store this May,” said Treina Lewis, Marketing Director of Atlantic Station. “We are elated to host several incredible festivities for guests in addition to our ongoing roster of lively programming. With numerous happenings on our property taking place outdoors, spring and summer bring a certain zest to the atmosphere at Atlantic Station and are among our most popular seasons.”

Friday, May 5: CINCO DE DRINKO

Saturday, May 6: MARCH OF DIMES –MARCH FOR BABIES: A MOTHER OF A MOVEMENT
Located in the Pinnacle Lot | 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. EDT
This year, March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ has a bold new vision. More than just a walk, it’s your entry into making a visible difference in your community now and for generations to come. Participate in March for Babies, and lift communities for health equity, opening the door for all moms to have access to care and protecting the health of families by pushing for their rights. Tuesday, May 9: TOT SPOT: FIRE SAFETY STATION
Located on the Atlantic Green | 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. EDT
Tot Spot returns to Atlantic Station with lots of fun activities for toddlers. Bring the littles this month to learn about fire safety on the Green! The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department will be stopping by with their BIG red fire truck to teach about the tools and suits that they use to keep the community safe. Guests can also enjoy free crafts, pre-packaged snacks and more! This event is designed for children ages 5 and under and is free to attend. Click here for more info.
Saturday, May 13: TAPAS N’ TAPS FESTIVAL
Located in the Pinnacle Lot | 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. EDT
The Tacos N’ Taps Festival will take guests south of the border for some foodie fun! This “all-you-care-to taste” Beer and Tequila Festival offers up some of Atlanta’s best tacos and mexican food, the best dancing music from Atlanta area bands, margaritas, contests and other fun surprises. Thursday, May 18: SCREEN ON THE GREEN: HUGO (2011)

Make outdoor movie viewing a new tradition this summer at Atlantic Station’s Screen on the Green! Each month in the summer, the Atlantic Green will feature a different family-friendly film on a large outdoor screen. Bring your blankets or chairs and choose your own place to sit on the lawn. Friday, May 19: MUSEUM OF ILLUSIONS GRAND OPENING

Are you ready for a fascinating adventure? Embark on an interactive and immersive journey through the world of optical illusions and mystifying puzzles at the Museum of Illusions Grand Opening!
