Forsyth County’s mixed-use village invites the community to play, shop, dine and experience what’s new
Summer days are always better when spent at Forsyth County’s mixed-use village, Halcyon! Enjoy a variety of family-friendly events throughout July, such as Halcyon Kids Club, National Hot Dog Day festivities, the fourth annual Halcyon’s Got Talent and more. There is something for everyone in the family to have fun with this summer at Halcyon.
The full July events schedule is outlined below:
Halcyon Kids Club
Wednesdays in July from 10 a.m. – noon
Preschoolers are invited to play and make new friends each week at the free Halcyon Kids Club! The little ones can engage in a rotating menu of activities ranging from arts and crafts, dance, animal encounters, storytime, puppet shows, music and so much more. Themes and activities vary weekly and will be announced on Halcyon’s Facebook page and Instagram stories. A parent or guardian is required to stay with each child during the duration of the event. Groovin’ on the Green
Fridays and Saturdays in July from 6 – 9 p.m.
Celebrate the weekend with dancing and singing along to live musical performances on Village Green. Enjoy local musicians across a variety of genres playing top hits. Guests can treat themselves to a craft brew and groove to live music all around the village! Halcyon has an open container policy, however, outside food and beverages are prohibited. Cars and Coffee Hosted by Mercedes-Benz Club of America
Saturday, July 1 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Join the Mercedes-Benz Experience by RBM of Alpharetta and Fuel Coffee for a beautiful summer morning sipping on specialty coffee drinks, viewing Mercedes-Benz vehicles from a variety of years in the private lot next to Fuel and mingling with friends and other members of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. Mercedes-Benz Experience by RBM of Alpharetta will be offering special discounts off merchandise for all Mercedes-Benz Club of America members. This event is open to all Mercedes-Benz owners. Fourth of July at HOBNOB
Tuesday, July 4 from noon to 5 p.m.
Rain or shine, HOBNOB has planned the ultimate Fourth of July celebration! Gather with your crew and indulge in a pig roast and a decadent side dish buffet on the patio while sipping on beer and bourbon specials. Yappy Hour
Thursday, July 13 from 5 – 7 p.m.
Bring your furry friend and join Halcyon on Village Green for Yappy Hour hosted by Unexpected Pooch on the second Thursday of each month! Farm Animal Yoga
Saturday, July 15 at 9 and 10 a.m.
Mooove on over to Halcyon for Farm Animal Yoga, featuring animals from North Georgia Wildlife Park! Treat your mind and body to a session of yoga appropriate for all skill levels, accompanied by adorable furry friends. Participants must bring their own yoga mat and are welcome to pause and take photos with the animals during the session. National Hot Dog Day Celebration
Thursday, July 20 from 5 – 9 p.m.
Relish in the mouthwatering, sizzling celebration of National Hot Dog Day at Halcyon! This flavorful event is back and better than ever. The first 100 guests will get to indulge in a free All American Hot Dog from The Original Hot Dog Factory. The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be rolling into the mixed-use village for photo opportunities. Enjoy face painting and balloon twisting for the little ones, gourmet cotton candy, a 360 photo booth, tunes spun by DJ Ed and dozens of dachshunds and their paw-rents from Metro Atlanta Dachshund Meet Up Group flooding Village Green for a doggone good time. Fourth Annual Halcyon’s Got Talent
Thursday, July 27 from 7 – 9:30 p.m.
Save the date for the Fourth Annual Halcyon’s Got Talent! Held in partnership with Galaxy Music & Arts, a music studio in Alpharetta, the community is invited to enjoy an evening watching talented kids ranging from 10 to 18 years old perform their best acts on Village Green. Tiki Street Pop-Up Bar at Cherry Street Brewpub
Daily through Monday, July 31
The summer of fun begins at Cherry Street Brewpub’s Tiki Street Pop-Up Bar! Celebrate the summer season and soak up all the tropical vibes while sipping on a cocktail and enjoying tasty bites, without the hassle of traveling to a tropical island. The menu features an assortment of tropical cocktails and flavorful foods inspired by tiki classics. Grab your crew, unwind after a long day or gather your friends for a fun night out.
